One would wonder why MGTOW doesn't seem to apply when it comes to their adult emotional dependency and refusal to trim the apron strings.

It's like there's a fear of going into the actual world.

As is typical of Nigerians, when nlers encountered the concept of MGTOW, they were very quick to carry it on their heads as a way of life. But this MGTOW is quickly brushed aside when they want to get their own way in a matter.

Nigerians/Nlers attitude to these issues give the impression of people who get agitated and throw tantrums when their wants are not met.
Family › Re: Emotional Dependency: nlers as a case study of this phenomenon in adulthood by nlPoster:
Is it the relatives who don't encourage emotional independence or Nigerians/nlers in general are just emotionally needy as a character trait?

Reading through their posts and opinions would make one assume both might be the case.

That's the reason you're complaining about Riele insulting men in romance section. You're dragging the section with women, in a field which traditionally belongs to them..

Do you see Riele in politics or any money making section insulting men? No, because those are male dominated endeavours and everybody knows that.

See your thread asking why ladies disrespect men in romance section:

https://www.nairaland.com/5671107/why-nairaland-ladies-decided-disrespect

Have you seen them disrespecting men in non-romance sections? It's because you have brought yourself to the level of women and that's how they see you.

Meanwhile no African country is known for prostitution more than Nigeria.
Very strange, or perhaps not.

Really?
Yes.

I might open a thread to discuss this fact.

ie why are Nigerian men populating the romance section.

It's so bad that they dont even allow the females to talk, rather they just drop sex posts, gossip, rants, insults, etc.
Family › Re: Emotional Dependency: nlers as a case study of this phenomenon in adulthood by nlPoster: 3:53pm On Feb 07, 2020
You'll see nlers threatening those reminding them to trim the apron springs ie reduce their emotional over- dependency on family and relatives as adults, with the scenario " When your relative is closer to their spouse than you, you won't be saying this".
Family › Re: Emotional Dependency: nlers as a case study of this phenomenon in adulthood by nlPoster: 3:48pm On Feb 07, 2020
It used to be in the old days, Nigerians tended to be emotionally stronger but in these times of mobile phones and instant technology, being emotionally dependent is no longer considered immaturity.

People (nlers) want to be babied even as adults, they wear their emotions on their sleeves and unfortunately, seem to be looking for who to take out their personal frustrations at life on, most times it's a hapless woman who agreed to marry them who bears the brunt of their anger at the Nigerian system and their upbringing. Transferred aggression, so to speak.

Romance is a female department, you are actually the one who shouldn't be in this section.

Politics, anything money, phones, computer, sexuality, etc are male dominated but you might prefer being around women instead of those areas I guess.

8. We are ‘selfie’ enthusiasts
Nigerians know how to take good ‘selfie’ photos and that is why we are always on Instagram these days. We like ourselves and we love to show the world our personality, buoyancy and fashion sense. When an American or British visit a beautiful destination, they appreciate its beauty by taking photographs of stunning attractions. We, on the other hand, appreciate the beauty of these attractions by taking a photo of ourselves in front of it. Anywhere we find ourselves, either at the airport or at the destination, we’ve got ‘selfie’ photos in different places and styles.
Not all Nigerians but a significant number.

Right here. Right here is why I despise this savage animal looking neanderthals that call themselves Yoruba. I don’t know why God cursed this Earth with you Animals pretending to be Human. Every fucking time I visit this site I see you animals speaking for Asaba or other Anioma. Who the hell are you Demons to think you know anything except the shit you pulled out of una gorilla looking asses. Never you fucking speak for Asaba again. Majority of us do see ourselves as Igbo. Did we ever call you animals and told una we aren’t? Fucking demons. The amount of divide you savages attempt to do is starting to piss me off. I swear I wish someone wipe you fuckers off the face of the Earth.

Oh and btw, you pigs DID NOT get Amotekun you pigs asked for. Your leaders compromised to doing wtf the federal government told una to do some day 1 of your loud mouthing about it. You wanted a security group and what the government told you to do on the first day was a community watch. That was, in the end of your loud mouthing, what they approved of which is what you pigs had before. You didn’t get Amotekun, you got OPC rebrand Amotekun. Animals that don’t know shit about what it is the disturb the rest of us with. Then again, I’m not shocked. You savage demons of hell live in delusional world with over exaggerated worth of importance that makes una a fucking joke.
It's like everytime I mention Jesus I see a furious reaction few days later?

Should we tell him that most of the time the “ladies are actually men?
I'm afraid most are still women even when some are men.

This problem is making the men see women as sex objects only and the women also agree. Meanwhile the men can always settle down anytime after deceiving women they are just sex objects, while the women bitterly feel they were misled.
