cheromel: Guys its 3:40 am now. Hubby said he felt somehow and needed to check his email. I told him to sleep. Well, he checked and showed me a PPR mail. 39 days post AOR on the dot. We asked God for 45 days max for processing before we sent our application and he did it in less than that. I couldn't help myself i started laughing and crying at the same time. Surely, there is a God somewhere. Will tell my soon. Let me continue with my worship because i can't sleep again. Congratulations!! |

Ok. All the best conebeam: CSE? How soon will they Respond? What will their likely response be?
I will decline ITA and wait for the next draw.
CIC needs to make provision for filling dates while filling EE profile, and there should be the option of just 2yrs in the Come to Canada tool.
Thank you everyone again,. |

Hello conebeam, Don't decline the ITA just yet. If you still have strong doubts raise a CSE and wait for their response. I think you shouldn't decline just because of an issue that can be solved. Go ahead and prepare your documents so that when you get a response you can put in your application. conebeam: Thanks so much for the suggestions. I filled in correct details for the application, but it was rounded up as 3yrs. But in the real sense it's 33months. Which makes a score of 450 rather than 475. If I decline ITA alone I ll still have 475, which is meant to be 450.
Thank you all. |

Let her go ahead. They use headphones and the examiners for the speaking test are just like those at BC. Their staff on the main test day were polite too. sleekchic: Hello Everyone,
Congratulations to all that got PPR,ITA and required IELTS Scores. To those who haven't yet, your time too is coming.
Please if you did your IELTS with IDP share any advise/experience you have for someone considering using them. Please she is about to pay but just wants to hear a couple of reviews. Earliest date on British Council now is May but IDP still has April Please assist. |

Thank you Cochtrane. I thought so too (at bolded) and needed another sound point of view which you have supplied. Thank you! cochtrane: Okay, this is my own opinion I formed from looking up a lot of details on the net. Didn't read carefully the first time. You needn't answer "yes". It was not your application as you weren't the PA. So, technically you have never applied before. If it applied to your husband as well, I feel the question would have come this way, Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada...." You'd observe they use this question type as often as they wanted whenever they intend to be specific. In this case they did not. So, I'd say you are good. |

Thank you so much cochtrane. Please do you think it matters since I wasn't the PA in the previous one? cochtrane: Look at this help item on CIC's website. It should answer your question. |

Pls when filling the EE profile, there is a question where one is asked if they have applied to IRCC before?
My hubs was the PA in the defunct FSWP and the application was refused due to an unfortunate error.
Now for EE, I am the PA so I picked NO as my answer. Is it correct? |

brickspumping: It was a long and tortuous journey. It all started in 2014.I sent in application in dec 2014 and they started processing in March 2015.There were long pauses and in between and various forms had to be updated.Police report was done twice and some affidavits. They even went to the point of checking the name on the registered line of my former workplace. They also picked salary payment claim of my former place of work stating that I couldn't have been paid over the counter as the CBN Passports arrived on Monday....2014-2018...can anyone beat that? Wow happy for you! Congratulations |
