WTFhuh?

@TOH i like you and all that, but to say Genevieve acts better than Halle Berry is the height of let me not say it cus you would be pissed if i did.

1. In contrast to some men, I actually do not find Halle Berry that attractive (I find her to be above average), however I respect her acting. And as far as am concerned she is a far far better actress than Genevieve.

Kelly Rowland - would have been my perfect woman if not for the deficiency in the boobs region  cry

Beyonce and Halle Berry have nothing on Kelly Rowland. Kelly Rowland is simply a natural beauty, perfect body BUT no boobs. lipsrsealed cry

2. Julie Roberts is a better actress than Halle Berry.
3. Halle Berry is a much much better actress than Genevieve.

KAG:
Okay, let's start from the beginning. I don't see how anyone can claim Tesla's "dynamic theory of gravity" does away with the things Einstein postulated (which things?), especially considering it's apparently impossible to know the major details and mathematics of the theory. That is, unless you happen to have a paper by Tesla detailing those things.
Really? Like what?
The worrying thing is that Tesla stated himself that there were fundamental flaws with Einsteins theory of relativity. Hence it comes as no suprise that there are certain things within Einstein's theory that science is still struggling to practically prove.

Unfortunately, i do not have a copy of the Tesla paper (for obvious reasons that most of his papers and inventions have become issues of national security, even other scientists that try to work on them have to pretend to be working on something else just to avoid suspicion), however one of the things that Tesla did which contradicted what Einstein did, has to do with the issue of the Ethereal (i.e. Universal Medium).

On the issue of the Ethereal

Einstein assumed without proof that Ethereal does not exist, hence if Ethereal is physically proved to exist in our time and age, then the foundation of Einstein's work basically starts to crumble.

Tesla theories is based on the existence of the Ethereal.
Tesla showed that Ethereal actually exists and he also actually used that information in his successful experiements.

Nikola Tesla wrote: " I showed that the universal medium is a gaseous body in which only longitudinal pulses can be propagated, involving alternating compressions and expansions similar to those produced by sound waves in the air. Thus, a wireless transmitter does not propagate Hertz waves, which are a myth, but sound waves in the ether, behaving in every respect like those in the air, except that, owing to the great elastic force and extremely small density of the medium, their speed is that of light."

(Source: "Pioneer Radio Engineer Gives Views on Power", published in the New York Herald Tribune, Sept. 11, 1932, [2, p.94 ]. )

KAG:
Second, yes he had a working wireless prototype. I wouldn't say we are struggling to understand it.

Third, the only developed country that I know of that suggested HAARP might be dangerous is Russia. Considering the time they made the suggestion, and there's no general scientific detraction on the project, I'd say you shouldn't listen to conspiracy theories.

Finally, what are we to make of replications, both physical and otherwise, of Einstein's theory of relativity?

Yes, I know about Tesla's intentions and how he was treated. On Einstein's wife, I know nothing. I do know, though, that if Einstein wasn't the one that did the work on the theory of relativity and several other theories, then he must have been good at cramming and winging in such a way as to deceive many.

That's fine, except I don't think Einstein was the greatest. I've never said anything of the sort.
1. Apologies for implying and saying that you said Einstein was the greatest scientist.

2. The news media generally portrays Einstein as the Greatest Scientist

3. Since you imply not to know about Einstein's wife i would advise you to please read it up so that you can get the full picture of where i am coming from.

4. Yes i agree that Einstein was also a genius for him to understand and extend the theory of relativity.

5. However what am saying is that compared to Nikola Tesla, Einstein is like a undergraduate while Nikola Tesla would be like the University Professor.

On a scale of Brilliance:

1st - Nikola Tesla
2nd -  Einstein
3rd  -  Newton
4th  -  Maxwell

6. This is not a matter of conspiracy theory even though i choose to ignore your snide remark concerning it. The issue here is that Nikola Tesla was a man far far ahead of his time so much so that he himself had to hide some of his breakthroughs out of the fear that Humanity was not yet ready for such inventions.
Some of the things which Tesla actually developed working practical models for are:

Death Ray - It was actually true even though it has now become a thing of science fiction.
Flying Machine - It was also actually true even though it has likewise become a thing of science fiction

Tesla was the stereotypical mad scientist.

2. The other resources are being exploited seriously sef:

- nigeria is producing raw minerals
- nigeria is producing natural gas

The only reason you are not hearing about it is because it is not part of the budget , hence the money being obtained through those sale of mineral and natural gas is simply going into the pocket of Ruling/Corrupt Elite and the collaborating Western Nations.

Unfortunately it would take time to get rid of the accent, so its advisable only if you are interested enough to persevere.

Step one - Look for someone who is good at speaking Yoruba and English

Step Two - Tell the person to speak to you only in Yoruba and try to force yourself to respond to him only in Yoruba, yes you might be thinking in english, don't worry you would get there.

I am also very fluent in speaking Yoruba, although my reading is not as good as i want it to be, and i also think in english even though i am born and raised in nigeria, hence thinking in english and speaking in yoruba does not mean you can't be fluent in yoruba.

Try and make friends with Toyosi or Fl Gators their NL posts seems to show that they are quite good with Yoruba.

Yoruba language is very rich and compact and with very deep meanings.

For example:

Eku ile - a form of greeting shown towards people that one meets at home, does not have an equivalent in english. Hence not knowing it or how to use it is not really desirable for a yoruba person.

Also words like Igbo have various meaning based on sound and context of usage, hence a typical yoruba person says more knowing less words, compared to english that has almost different words for different things.

Igbo - Bush
Igbo - Headbutt
Igbo - Marijuana or smokeable hard drugs
Igbo - pubic hair

Wa - come
Wa - drive

It must really suck waiting for free calls. . .u have to wait till minight??. . . .seriously?? shocked shocked lipsrsealed embarassed undecided
Toyosi abegi, no one is waiting for midnight calls, midnight calls is just something that one gets into without actually asking for it.

This is because it is my experience that two people that are really into each other can get to talk for almost 5 hours on the phone, such that assuming they start talking around 8pm when they both get home from either work or school. You would be suprised that before you know whats happening, the continue to talk till like 2am.
Which means that even though they dd not plan to use midnight call yet their length of talking and period of gisting means that they find themselves using the midnight call period indirectly.

Also from experience, calling someone constantly like everyday for like 3 - 6 hours, ultimately starts to eat into the account of the guy in questions, whether he's as rich as Bill Gates or not.

Hence experience tells me that its even mostly the lady who ends up suggesting that they should start calling around midnight, simply because the lady loves his guy so much that she does not want him to lose too much money on contract phone bills.

So all ya girls and ladies feigning "richie rich" cus of the midnight call issue are just being a little bit overboard with the criticism of the midnight calls.

@Toyosi are you trying to tell me you are going to tell me to stop calling you at midnight, if i were to be the one who gists with you and talks you to sleep using a (Barry White tone) around midnight for like 3 hours everyday assuming i was your main guy. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

It is good to have cheap midnight calls most especially if there needs to be constant 3 hours phone conversation between two lovers staying far apart from each other almost everynigth.

Moreover does it not sound outrageous for someone to refuse to call at midnight because the person feels he does not want to sound or look cheap.

Sagamite:
So the conclusion is that Afonjas are Yorubas and they got defeated and lost a city to the Hausas. You are learning then.
huh huh huh your understanding of the use of english is a little bit suspect, considering all i have said with Afonjas being relatively isolated as a group of people from the mainstream Yorubas, after they had earlier used Hausa-Fulanis to opppose the Alaafin.

Your inferiority complex as a man is certainly showing through, considering you are in the UK, i would not be suprised of your personal choices in relation to Caucasians. Since its obvious your sense of objectivity is suspect and sense of loyalty seems to only be to yourself.

Sagamite:
Errrr . . . . . . . KnowAll seems to think as a Yoruba person, I owe something to Ibadan and I guess hence if I was rich, it is "my generational duty" to contribute. Can you read english?
Stop your generalisation, everybody is not your enemy.

In as much as i agree with some of the things that KnowAll says, it does not mean that i agree with asking all Yorubas to contribute to the building of a Palace.  If you take the time to get off your overblown ego, you would notice that i have not utter a word in support of Yoruba's contributing to the building of the Palace.

All i have said is that praise should be given where it is due and parrt of the praise is in having the class and personal dignity not to insult the Ibadan people or insult their King, even if you assume to think to know what is best for them as a people more than they do for themselves.

What happens in Sagamu is none of my business since am not from there, what sagamite people decide to do for themselves is none of my business either also considering since am not from there likewise. Hence it is not only rude, classless and wrong of you to call the Olubadan insultive names, it is also the height of pride for you to think it is your right or your duty to determine what Ibadan people want for themselves (considering that the issue of Olubadan Palace had been started far far long even before the present Olubadan got to the throne).

So what i am asking you is to keep your mouth shut if you have nothing constructive to say and stop insulting the Olubadan (he's old enough to be your grandfather) - yoruba culture portends one not to insult elders even if you disagree with them.

You claim to be yoruba man, yet you do not have the Yoruba understanding and sense of respect that dictates that Elders should not be insulted even if you disagree with them. You can disagree with people in general and Elders in particular without having to let your beastly nature result in you having to publicly rain insults on them.

Stop insulting the Ibadan people with your childish desires to feel publicly important.

Stop insulting the Yorubas as a whole with you insinuation that Hausa-Fulanis defeated the Yorubas as a whole, considering that that is not true and considering that Hausa-Fulanis were only able to deceive and defeat the Afonjas (who were obviously an isolated group of Yoruba people who had decided to break away from the Oyo Empire of that time)

You can agree to disagree without having to stoop low to barbaric, insulting and idiotic levels against the Olubadan, Ibadan people and Yorubas in general

Sagamite:
Sorry mate, I have a valid opinion on an issue that is typical of my country and Africa in general. The people are suffering and the leaders are looking for ways to waste financial resources on self/public aggrandisation projects. It is so bad the "men of god me bleeping arse" are getting in on the act. N4bn me bleeping arse.

Kids can't get 2 linear meals, roads are bad, healthcare is non-existent and some slowpoke wants to build a palace with N4bn that "befits a king". So societal degradation befits Ibadan people?

Yes, I do (ala Olubadan). And I don't see where I have insulted Yorubas.

So the Bleep wha wha!!!

I repeat, SO THE Bleep WHA WHA!

No, it shows my basic abundance for objectivity and standing up for the right thing. So because Abacha is my elder and Head of State, then I am not allowed to criticise him? What a pathetic mentality.

I bet you are one of those that will let evil take place all in the name of culture and tradition. Culture me bleeping arse.

I stand for objectivity, fairness, intelligence and behaviours that foster collective societal good, not some you are Yoruba so you must do or support Yorubas or what Yorubas do.

Enlighten me on what he has done and I might withdraw my belligerent position towards him.

I don't have to show my level of intelligence. I am!

Conjectual balderdash!

What you can not get into your thick skull is that, whatever the reason for their victory, it is still a victory no matter what stupid excuse you make for it.

I bet the Hausas can also come up with excuses why they did not bother with pursuing their conquest downwards e.g. horsemanship was not suited for the terrain. It is all excuses.

My point still stands, Yorubas are no more special by blood or kinship than any other tribe. Only a stupid tribalist will come up with such stupid statements.
If you had the time to go through my post on this forumn you would have noticed that I am as blunt and fair as people can be.

-I do not go around claiming everything is bad in Nigeria or claiming everyone is corrupt or raining insults on people just for the sake of being able to do it in anonymity. It is always easy to sit behind your desk and claim a higher moral pedestal when you yourself have skeletons in your cupboard personally.
- Yes there is corruption in the country.
- Yes basic amenities are not being done.
- Nevertheless it does not mean some people are not doing the right thing.
- Nevertheless it does not mean that some people are not fighthing corruption.

2. A King in Nigeria does not control creation of roads or basic amenities, rather that is the job of the political government. Hence for you to go about claiming that because there are bad roads in Ibadan, Yoruba-land or Nigerian as whole is evidence or reason for you to insult the Olubadan, goes to show you are not objective at all, instead it shows your height of naiveity and ignorance and also shows  that you are obviously trying hard to really compensate for some inadequacies in your personal life by placing blames  where there is none to be placed.

3. The Olubadan does not control the state or local government budget.

4. The Olubadan does not control or decide on the creation of roads or basic amenities.

5. The best the Olubadan can do is to exert pressure on the people that do make policies and construction decisions.

6. Stop trying to create a straw man argument of blaming the Olubadan for something he personally has no direct control over.

7. I am actually beginning to suspect whether or not you are the same person as "Whitelexi" the two of you look alike somehow.
Politics › Re: #4,000,000,000 For Ibadan Palace!shocking! When No Good Road Dey by No2Atheism(m): 10:01am On Jun 02, 2009
Sagamite:
So the Afonjas are from cotonou? They are not Yorubas? Stop chatting trash.
I am not sure about your personal use of english or whether you are just being mischevious just for the sake of trying to win an argument blindly.

It is clear from my statement that you quoted and responded to earlier that I mentioned that Afonjas were prodigal Yorubas (meaning they were a subgroup of Yoruba people who decided to break away from the mainsteam Yoruba who were under the control of alaafin at that point in time). Hence within the context of the use of english your response seems rather tasteless and out of step with reality. Unless of course you don't understand the meaning and context of the use of the word "Prodigal".

----------------------------------

No one is asking you to build anything for the people of Ibadan. The point that is being made is that you are completely wrong and out of order in your statements whereby you are calling the present Olubadan different despicable names because:

1. You can easily keep your mouth shut, by not saying anything considering that the money for the building of the Ibadan Palace is not being taken out of your pocket or out of the pocket of the people of Sagamu. Keeping your mouth shut would help you make people think you actually know what you are talking about.

2. You have no basis to justify such insults against the current Olubadan, the people of Ibadan, and Yorubas in general. Considering the compelling life story of this  same Olubadan and the people of ibadan and Yorubas in general, it shows just how low you have allowed yourself to stoop in your bid to misrepresent information and make a mountain out of a mole hill.

3. You are being crudely insultive to a Elder Yoruba man and a Yoruba King for that matter, hence it shows your basic lack of respect and character for you to stoop so low as to say such words, considering that the man is old enough to be your grandfather.

4. The man (Olubadan) being a man who has shown himself to be a man of integrity, deserves praise for managing to do what he has done under the circumstances that he is operating despite having had to go up against Obasanjo and Adedibu and Alao Akala all at the same time. Hence for you to say all that, only goes to show your level of basic understanding of history and socio-political reality. I bet in your haste to show your level of intelligence you did not realise that the man's dedication to integrity and anti-corruption resulted in some unfavourable circumstances to him personally.

5. Your statements shows that you most probably a very-self centered individual in real life, otherwise common sense would have told you that had the Ibadan people not intervened against the Hausa-Fulanis, then things would not have been the way they are as of now within Yoruba-Land. As a matter of fact it would be easy to guess that the situation that persists in Kwara could readily have existed in majority of the Yoruba-Land, had the Ibadan people not come to the aid of all Yorubas against the Hausa-Fulani invaders.

Very similar to the same dins you get from the likes of Saddam and Comical Ali when they said America must drop all their technological war-aid and come and fight hand-to-hand combat if they want a fair fight with the "heroic" Iraqi Presidential Gaurds.
1. Did the Hausa-Fulani do something wrong by stealing Ilorin from the Afonjas via deceit and blatant backstabbing, off course not. Instead, the Afonjas are to be blamed, cus they were the ones who gave the Hausa- Fulanis such an opportunity to succeed via deceit and backstabbing.

2. Off course deception and backstabbing is part of war, hence i don't fault the Hausa-Fulanis for doing that, however what i find out of place in your statements is the insinuation that Hausa-Fulanis's success in Ilorin was as a result of their victory and militarily superiority over the Yoruba people in general. Such an insinuation on your part cannot be more farther from the truth. Do yourself a favour, stop drinking kool-aid and actually take the time to study and remember true history.

History shows that despite the deceit and deception and backstabbing used against the Afonja people, yet that still did not stop Ibadan people from kicking the ass of the Hausa-Fulani people in war.

3. It is completely wrong of you to now try to generalise that Hausa-Fulanis defeated the whole of Yoruba people in the process of capturing Ilorin. It is quite obvious from student of history that that is simply not the case.

- Afonjas were already considered Prodigals sons when the Ilorin capture occured.
- Afonjas sought to be independent of the Alaafin, hence they fought against the Hausa Fulanis without the aid of the mainstream Yoruba people, as such it is blatantly wrong/false and completely naive of you to claim that Hausa-Fulanis defeated Yoruba people, when history clearly shows that Hausa-Fulanis defeated only the Afonjas (whom one can easily consider to be a group of isolated and prodigal yoruba people)
- The mainstream of the Yoruba people easily defeated the Hausa-Fulani invasion when the Hausa-Fulanis made the mistake of trying to attack the mainsteam Yoruba people.
- This defeat of the Hausa-Fulani invaders was facilitated by the involvement of the Ibadan people in the war.

Culture › Re: Yorubas In Nigeria That Can't Speak Yoruba by No2Atheism(m): 4:40am On Jun 02, 2009
1. Its wrong for the child not to be able to both speak and understand Yoruba, If the parents don't make efforts to teach their children, then sooner or later that family would lose its heritage over time, just like most Black African Americans or Black African South Americans are completely confused about themselves and their heritage.

2. As for me, whether or not my children speak Shakesperean English does not mean i would not force them to both speak and understand Yoruba fluently.

3. Being able to speak Yoruba fluently is a means of preserving onces family heritage and culture through oral means, simply because there are certain things and statements in Yoruba that simply do not have an an equivalence in English. Thus the culture represented by those statements become lost once the language is lost through children that can't speak it.

4. Unfortunately, inferiority complex also causes some parents and families to discourage the learning, speaking or understanding of Yoruba language in their homes.

1. If she hurts me nope i can't cry and I have never cried, am not that kind of a person. Will it pain me that she hurt me yes off course, it will. But does that mean i would cry because she hurt me, absolutely not.

2. Have i ever cried in front of my girlfriend before, yes off course i have, but not because she hurt me becus she never hurt me, not even once (hence why i am still kicking myself for letting her go). My reason for crying infront of her was completely different and unrelated to this topic infact it was a period of temporary madness  cry cry cry .

Do u understand my question at all?

According to u, there is no scientific evidence to buttress the non-existence of GOD notion, dont u consider this notion as guilty as the "religions " atheism antagonises?
So for the sake of living in denial, without recourse to reason, logic, scientific experimentation, research, analogy . . . . . .  u simply deny the existence of GOD.Ur
Welcome to the illogical world of Atheism

1. They are not 100% sure there is no Creator, yet still without proof they claim there is no Creator. How they can't see the lack of logic in claiming to be sure of something based on something else that is not 100% certain, is really beyond me.

2. They cannot prove whether there is a Creator or not, yet claim to be atheists (i.e. hence their decision to be atheists is actually also based on their hope/faith that they hope they are right that there is no Creator)

3. They deny any scientific evidence that points to the existence of a Creator, even if it is one of them that ends up stumbling on the same evidence (e.g. discovery of blood in dinosaur bones that are supposed to be millions of years old, e.g lack of the elusive missing missing link)

4. They openly or secretly support evolution and work tirelessly day and night to try to build it up, yet unfortunately since evolution cannot be proved scientifically, instead it means they have to keep changing their evolutionary hypothesis, definition and explanations everytime something new destroys the old evolutionary speculations.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am just grateful i found out very early during my period of straying that evolution is a fairytale for adults that would never been proved or observed in a scientific laboratory because it never had a scientific foundation to begin with in the first place.

Sagamite:
What has this balderdash got to do with my post that Yoruba lost Ilorin? Did you see me say Ibadan lost Ilorin?
Yorubas did not lose Ilorin

The Afonjas lost Ilorin to the Hausa- Fulanis

The Afonjas had already separated themselves from the Yorubas by going against the Oyo Empire then.

The Afonjas had already made themselves Yoruba prodigal sons by going against Oyo Empire and using Hausa- Fulani visitors in their fight and bid to stay separate from the Oyo Empire. Unfortunately for them, the Hausa-Fulanis turned around to stab them in the back and take over their land.

Hausa-Fulanis never fought the Yorubas for Ilorin, so do yourself a favour and get your history right before spouting out nonsense as a replacement for reasoned logic.

The time Hausa-Fulanis had to actually fight Yorubas for something, they were roundly defeated by the Ibadan forces.

biina:
I dont get what the fuss is all about. All they have said is that they are trying to raise N4 billion to build a palace.
I don't see the problem in them trying to raise N4 billion, as it does not mean that they would succeed in raising said amount, and if raised that they would spend its entirety on the palace.
The money is being sought from donors and not necessarily public funds. I think the figure is simply inflated to encourage contributions.
@biina thank you jare.

The fuss was against the ignorant individuals that were insulting the Olubadan and the Ibadan people despite that the present Olubadan has demonstrated many times over that he is both a very educated, non-corrupt, wealthy, activist and popular King of the Ibadan people. Despite that history shows that Ibadan people in particular and Yorubas in general have always be welcoming people. Hence the reason why i had to lecture people like sagamite and mrcrackles about the personal wealth of this particular olubadan and the historical gratitude the most Yorubas owe to the Ibadan people. Yorubas that forget history and prefer to trust Hausa-Fulanis usually end up experiencing the same betrayal that Afonjas found at the hands of their Hausa-Fulani visitors who are now ruling over them as Kings despite that they came to ilorin as visitors.
The Olubadan does not need the Palace for himself as a personal property, those who are knowledgeable enough would realise that this same man is weathly enough and comfortable enough that he was many properties in both lagos and ibadan.
This particular Olubadan is asking for the help to build a befitting palace because it is in the interest of the people of Ibadanland and not because he wants a place to stay. Trust me i know from first hand information that he's comfortable.

So all the ignorant individuals should shut up and stop insulting the Ibadan people in particular and the whole Yoruba people in general.

@sagamite if you take time to study your history you would realise that:

1. The Afonja's were supposed to be yoruba muslims who had an agreement with the Hausa-Fulanis to protect them from the Oyo Empire.
2. Hausa-Fulanis broke the agreement by turning against the muslim yorubas and taking over their land, (an example of showing how false the idea of muslim brotherhood really is)
3. Hausa-Fulani took over ilorin not because they were fighting the whole of yorubas for it, but because the Afonjas were figthing them on their own, because the Afonjas had already betrayed their other yorubas by aligning with the Hausas-Fulanis, hence it is understandable that other Yoruba's still consider the Afonjas to be traitors that do not deserve help.
4. Hence the Hausa-Fulanis did not get ilorin through a fair-fight but rather through cunning, deceit, backstabing and betrayal.
5. The Hausa-Fulanis got their ass kicked by the Ibadans when they faced Yorubas in a fair fight with no suprise attacks or deceit.

Sagamite:
Utter rubbish.

And they got their arse whooped by Hausa-Fulani, sold each other as slaves and got colonized by the British.

Bollocks rant.
Sagamite:
Oh, so you know, but you were talking some super trash about some kind of super tribe that could conquer the world but now you are feeling inferior to the British, Spanish and French. So Yorubas are not some kind of super tribe, init? Their arse is whoopable.

You are not ashamed you lost Ilorin, could your super tribe, that could conquer the world, dream of reaching Zaria, talkless of Kano. Balderdash rant!
@sagamite, you obviously do not know anything about history.

1. Ibadan people descended from a settlement of Warriors, yet they are the most democratised group of people in Yoruba land.
2. Ibadan people were the ones that actually kicked Hausa-Fulani's ass, all of Yorubas need to thank them for stopping the Hausa-Fulani onslaught.
3. Ibadan people or Yoruba people are not as barbaric as Hausa-Fulanis, hence they do not have the need or willingness to expand to other people's land. Infact if you take time to study your history you would notice that Hausa-Fulanis, used deceit, deception and outright killing to try to gain control of areas in Kwara such as Ilorin.
4. Just like Knowall said, Yorubas in general do not have a colonial mentality hence they don't believe in taking over other people's land. (hence the reason they did not take over Benin Kingdom when they had a chance to do so, instead they just helped Benin people to set up a ruling monarchy system based on  was already functioning in the Yoruba Kingdoms).
5. Yorubas are the ones holding this country together because they have always been reasonable people, Hausa-Fulanis are hopelessly colonialistic, the Ibos are hopelessly independent, hence the day the Yorubas decide  that enough is enough is the day that Nigeria would break up.

You need to read up on your history before uttering unintelligent statements.

The OBA should be ashamed of himself!

But wait a minute! Can one really blame the oxymoron?

He is probably an illiterate who fell in love with the word "BILLIONS" and because he probably has "4 concubines or wives" hence 4 BILLION!

He felt the need to open his mouth and grace the front page of the daily tabloids

Right hand self-servicer!
@mcrackles

Its unfortunate that some people on this forumn go ahead to post without checking out their facts.

1. This particular Olubadan that you are insulting was one of the few people to openly oppose Obasanjo and the governments for their corruption.
2. This particular Olubadan that you are insulting was one of the few people that openly opposed Adedibu and his thugs for their corruption.
3. This particular Olubadan that you are insulting was one of the few people that had openly supported the common man with their selflessnes.
4. Because of this Olubadan's anti-corruption stance, he has received little financial support from the State government and has thus been running his traditional administration mostly through his own personal riches. Yes he is personally wealthy hence does not need corruption money contrary to ur insinuation.
5. This particular Olubadan was one of the few anti-corruption Kings that we have in Nigeria, hence as a result he is disliked by most corrupt nigerians.
6. Yes Ibadan does not have a palace befitting of its status, hence his request for the construction of a new modern palace.
7. This particular Olubadan has openly sided with oppressed people so much that he has become an enemy of corrupt politician.
8. This particular Olubadan is one of the most principled man that you are probably going to meet in your life. Think of him as a Royal version of Femi Falana. Yes he is an activist King.
11. This particular Olubadan is personally rich himself before becoming the King, hence has been sustaining himself mostly with his own financial resources because his political and moral stance means that the Oyo State Governor opposes him and does not support him like they do to most other Kings.
10. This particular Olubadan is one of the most educated people you are probably going to meet amongst Kings in nigeria. You need to actually read his biography and personal history for you to understand that he's not only well-educated but also has achieved a lot of personal things in his life. Reading his personal history would make you realise that he is an accomplished person by his own right, hence u need to stop running your mouth against him.

-------------------------------------------------------------

@others

It would do a lot of people some form of good to properly research matters before opening their mouth to utter words on topics they know next to nothing about.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Yes Ibadan does not have a palace befitting of its status, hence his request for the construction of a new modern palace. Infact the issue about a New Palace in Ibadan was not started by this particular Ibadan King, it has been ongoing for at least 10years now.
The planning phase for this issue as reached a phase in which a particular piece of Land is said to be have been set aside for the construction of this palace. Hence people should please look, analyse check facts before opening their mouth.
