I have said it many times that the Arms fund probe is just a diversionary tactic by Buhari and an attempt to give relevance to his phantom anti-corruption (witchhunt) crusade. The FG is required to replace his cars.
Even if the convoy wasn't bombed, ex-Heads of State are entitled to change of cars by the incumbent Federal Government. And Buhari is an ex-HOS.
The Office of National Security Adviser is part of the Federal Government and Dasuki, being the NSA, replaced Buhari's cars.

First, what matters is that the cars have been replaced. It doesn't concern Buhari where the money for the replacement came from. What concerns him is that what is due him according to the constitution has been given to him.

So if Dasuki used money meant for arms deal to replace Buhari's cars, he should come and explain to us why he diverted funds.
And Jonathan should also come and tell us whether he was aware of the replacement of the cars or not. Because as the HOS at that time, he should have been the one to authorise the replacement in line with the constitution.

He said he gave Buhari $300, 000. And Buhari has denied it. He should provide proof of his accusation.
In the court of law, it is the accuser that provides proof against the accused.

Or you guys want us to believe that if Dasuki mentions anybody's name, even without proof, the person is automatically guilty.

Things will get better but it will definitely take a while.
Even during OBJ's regime oil sold for as low as $20 per barrel yet we survived it.
Things were better then because the spending profile of Nigerian government and Nigerians was a bit lower than what it is today.

But as the years went by and oil prices started rising around 2005/2006/2007 to about $60-70 per barrel, the spending profile started rising.

Now the problem is that we want to keep maintaining the high spending profile even with the falling oil prices.

He was there when the governors were fighting Jonathan for the money in the excess crude account. What did he do?

With the falling oil prices, shouldn't our legislators have cut their salaries and allowances. Yet, with Nigeria being impoverished by the falling oil prices, our senators are still the HIGHEST PAID legislators in the world. And Ekweremadu is the deputy Senate President.

Okay. Recently I read that Nigerian Senate orders for 109 SUVs for themselves (I've not confirmed if it is true or not). But if it is really true, should this man be here shamelessly shouting for revolution?
If true, none of those SUVs can cost anything less than #2m. And that would amount to #218m plus other little little things to be spent in addition.

Asphalt is the best, the problem is the thickness. Where they suppose to use like 4cm thick, they use 2cm. That alone will not make it last.

First and foremost, how did you come to the conclusion that it is Dangote's cement that is being used?

Secondly, how many concrete/cement roads have you seen that made you come to the conclusion that it will develop cracks with usage?

Thirdly, how did you come to the conclusion that asphalt is best for road construction?
How did you make the comparison between asphalt and other road construction materials to determine which is best?
Are you a Materials and Metallurgical engineer or a Civil Engineer?

Everyone knows that slander and libel are criminal offences.
But before the cyber crime act came into play, there was no specific punishment meant for it.

What Jonathan's Cyber Crime Act did was to specify the type of punishment to be meted out to someone found guilty of a cyber crime.

Jonathan's cyber crime act never said a person must be very sure of what he was saying before saying it. It never said you should get an affidavit before making a statement on social media. In other words, you're free to say whatever u want to say but if it brought against you, in a court of law, that what you said is false, then you shall be jailed or fined.

This is equivalent to the Social Media Act of the UK and the Defamation Laws of the US.

Now, this Social media bill prohibits you from writing anything without an affidavit. If, for example, you're an eye witness to an event, u're not allowed to report it without an affidavit. If u have a piece of news to report and the court refuses to give you an affidavit, u dare not report it.

Do not forget that journalism isn't only about writing happening or past events. Journalism is also allowed to make speculations about the future. Journalism is also allowed to make extrapolations. Journalism is also allowed to make guesses. It is these things that force the people concerned to come out and clarify issues.

It is that way everywhere in the world. In no sane country has anybody been asked to get an affidavit before making a post.
