Romance › Please What Should I Do? I Am Confused! by NoContract(op): 1:39pm On Oct 21, 2014 |
I have a girlfriend. She is 21, while I am 25.
She is using Blackberry and iPhone while I am using Nokia torch.
I bought the phones for her because I love Her so much. I send 400 naira card to her everyday but she doesn't call me. She only flashes me.
Whenever we go to restaurant I buy Maltina and fried rice for her. while I drink only pure water and groundnut.
One day I bought 400 naira card for her; when we were together, she called another guy and told the guy that she loves him and will marry him.
When I asked her who she was calling, she said that she was only joking.
She has never ever visited my house and she doesn't allow me to visit her house.
Whenever I want to hug her she would shout at me harshly. What should I do? Should I increase the recharge card I buy for her to 600 naira? or should I buy another Blackberry phone for her and iPad for her too? I know that she loves me so much.
Please what should I do? |

Nairaland General › Ebola: Liberia’s President Writes Moving Letter To The World. by NoContract(op): 12:47pm On Oct 20, 2014 |
Liberia’s President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has written a heartfelt letter to the world over the Ebola crisis that hit her country. In the letter which was read over the radio and transmitted worldwide, she likened the Ebola epidermic to the civil war her country faced 11 years ago which killed a lot of Liberians, crumbled their economy and vital institutions. The president called on the international community to stop all theoretical explanations on the Ebola crisis and act fast to stop the spread of the deadly virus. Dear World In just over six months, Ebola has managed to bring my country to a standstill. We have lost over 2,000 Liberians. Some are children struck down in the prime of their youth. Some were fathers, mothers, brothers or best friends. Many were brave health workers that risked their lives to save others, or simply offer victims comfort in their final moments…
There is no coincidence Ebola has taken hold in three fragile states – Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea – all battling to overcome the effects of interconnected wars. In Liberia, our civil war ended only eleven years ago. It destroyed our public infrastructure, crushed our economy and led to an exodus of educated professionals. A country that had some 3,000 qualified doctors at the start of the war was dependent by its end on barely three dozen. In the last few years, Liberia was bouncing back. We realized there was a long way to go, but the future was looking bright. Now Ebola threatens to erase that hard work. Our economy was set to be larger and stronger this year, offering more jobs to Liberians and raising living standards. Ebola is not just a health crisis – across West Africa, a generation of young people risk being lost to an economic catastrophe as harvests are missed, markets are shut and borders are closed. The virus has been able to spread so rapidly because of the insufficient strength of the emergency, medical and military services that remain under-resourced and without the preparedness to confront such a challenge. This would have been the case whether the confrontation was with Ebola, another infectious disease, or a natural disaster. But one thing is clear. This is a fight in which the whole world has a stake. This disease respects no borders. The damage it is causing in West Africa, whether in public health, the economy or within communities – is already reverberating throughout the region and across the world. The international reaction to this crisis was initially inconsistent and lacking in clear direction or urgency. Now finally, the world has woken up.
The community of nations has realized they cannot simply pull up the drawbridge and wish this situation away. This fight requires a commitment from every nation that has the capacity to help – whether that is with emergency funds, medical supplies or clinical expertise.I have every faith in our resilience as Liberians, and our capacity as global citizens, to face down this disease, beat it and rebuild. History has shown that when a people are at their darkest hour, humanity has an enviable ability to act with bravery, compassion and selflessness for the benefit of those most in need. From governments to international organisations, financial institutions to NGOs, politicians to ordinary people on the street in any corner of the world, we all have a stake in the battle against Ebola. It is the duty of all of us, as global citizens, to send a message that we will not leave millions of West Africans to fend for themselves against an enemy that they do not know, and against whom they have little defence. The time for talking or theorizing is over. Only concerted action will save my country, and our neighbours, from experiencing another national tragedy. The words of Henrik Ibsen have never been truer: “A thousand words leave not the same deep impression as does a single deed. Yours sincerely,
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf http://www.independent.co.ug/ugandatalks/2014/10/ebola-liberias-president-writes-moving-letter-to-the-world/ |

Fashion › Re: Top 6 Reasons You Should Stop Sagging by NoContract(m): 6:59am On Oct 09, 2014 |
adonbilivit: the rate at which people sag these days is alarming. some how i blame our media for exposing us to videos of celebrities who sag their trousers. most of our youths look up to these celebrities and emulate what ever they do. we are trying to be like the lil Waynes and wizkids of these world forgetting that these guys sag for the money. though i am not justifying the act of celebrities sagging. if you must know one thing, these guys don't sag in reality.
anyway here are the top six reasons you should not sag
1. you can't walk comfortably: it makes you walk slowly and funny. i have noticed it makes people walk like there is a big pot in between their laps
2. you come across as irresponsible: as a result, nobody takes you seriously. people even hardly trusts you.
3. it hurts your skin: when you sag, you will often have bruises on your thighs especially when on jeans.
4. it makes people think you are gay: dont tell us you are not gay, prove it to us by pulling your trouser up.
5. it makes you constantly pulling your shirt down to cover your exposed pants/boxers. just pull up your trouser and save yourself the stress.
6. it brings you embarrassment: it is common to hear people tell you things like "your pants are exposed, pull your jean up bro". sometimes the need to run might arise, and if you dare run with your trouser sagging just be ready for a huge embarrassment because it is mostly likely to tear. And what's wrong with being gay? |

PapiWata: Good riddance to a very nasty boi-terrorist. This selfish and reckless man, Thomas Eric Dickhead, was in PERFECT health living in his adopted home-land of America. Next thing you know this fool decides to VISIT Liberia, his country of origin, DESPITE the rampaging Ebola epidemic killing one thousand souls a month there. Trouble dey sleep hin own je-je, before yanga come go wake am.
In Liberia on his voluntary vacation at Ebola ground-zero, the naturalized American citizen cum-bio-terrorist KNOWINGLY assisted a very sick woman, making physical contact with her in the process, and thus contracting Ebola himself. Now hiding his self-imposed death sentence by Ebola infection, this horrid person LIED at the airport at the time of his return to the US, when asked if he had made contact with ANY sick person while in Liberia.
Obviously, the now now-dead Liberian bio-terrorist was an under-achiever as an immigrant to America, because he had no medical coverage, and likely expected FREE treatment for his Ebola illness, followed possibly by 15 minutes of world fame as he charged big money for press interviews. Well, all those dastardly plans came to nothing, and the bio-terrorist was simply allowed to die, with treatment deliberately and rightfully DENIED him, until he croaked like the worthless scum-bag that he is.
Mr. Thomas Eric Dumbfuck, I hope you are enjoying your eternity as a charcoal shovel-wielding slave amid the fiery pits of deepest hell. May your wicked soul rot forever there, and may your memory be erased from the minds of all decent people like a bad dream at the break of dawn. To all other Liberians hoping to run to America for FREE Ebola treatment, let the fate of your role model be a lesson, to show the world there is NO free lunch. Stay the hell IN Liberia, and stop trying to spread that nasty disease. Head to America with that chit, and you WILL be left to die like the free-loading sack of excrement that you are. I sincerely hope this bile-induced racial vitriol makes you feel happy. |

Kei144: Re. 7:2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: Re. 7:3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Re. 7:4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
The sealing of the 144,000 Israelites will begin this week, during the Feast of Tabernacles; 9-15 October. The feast actually begins in the evening of of 8th October.
Mt. 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. Mt. 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
Re. 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. Re. 14:2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. Re. 14:3 And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No-one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.
The earthly ministry of Jesus of Jesus Christ was preceded by God filling him with the Holy Spirit without limit. In the same manner, the ministry of the 144,000 Israelites will be preceded by a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters--latter rain of the Holy Spirit, rivers of living water.
Mt. 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
Once the firstfruits receive the latter rain of the Holy Spirit, in three years their ministry will give birth to mature sons of God whom God will fill with all the fullness of God. Satan is vehemently opposed to human beings developing into mature sons of God; so, he will do everything to oppose it. All hell will let loose all over the world. End time tribulations will begin in earnest, from this week.
God marks the beginning of this year's Feast of Tabernacles with a total lunar eclipse (blood moon).

BankoleNco: Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'd go ahead and post here as it is related to health (depression). Well, I don't want to bore you with long sermon-esque writings, so I'd skip the fancy stuff and go straight to the point. I'd be turning 30 mid next year and its really eating me up! I feel depressed and old! Its been giving me sleepless nights and middle of the night insomnia I wake up 4.00 am for no reason nowadays and just stare at the ceiling lost in thought and scared as hell with thoughts of being in the twilight of my youth, knowing I'd have to get married pretty soon, just 10 years away from 40, no more clubbing, no more spontaneous Saturday drives. The worst part is I spent MOST of my teenage and youth life in self development and didn't have time to indulge in some most of the activities attached to youthful exuberance. Its paid off, yes! But, I AM DEPRESSED right now! Did any of you guys currently 30 and above experience same? Would really help if someone said something. *sigh* OK.
I feel you work in a bank.
