the rules and regulation isn't working, it is the fashion old school, i was asking the moderator of the new school rules and regulation.
I brush it as old school because no one is abiding by that law, how many penple insult Allah and the prophet yet they go unpunish, besides they even post blaspheme, you are living witness to this. Do we still say the rules and regulation is applicable to the apparent happenings here ? C'mon.

You don't read what other posters have written, noetic2. If not you would not have been reiterating this question. How? The very answer of it is there in this thread--OP. Here I quote:

And the Almighty Allah says regarding the Prophet Muhammad's words, actions, approval or attributes, "Your Companion (the Prophet of Islam) errs not nor does he deviate. Nor does he speak out of desire. It is nought but revelation that is revealed. One Mighty in Power has taught him." (Qur'an 53:2-5)

You see? ALL his actions were guided by Allah, the Exalted. Thus how is he supposed to be punished by Him after what He wants was what he did? Simple.

Moreover, you once asked; has Allah ever mentioned that He forgave the Prophet. Here is the answer I gave you:

Allah (S.W.T) says unto the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): "That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfill His favour to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way" (Fath 48:2)

"Allah turned with favour to the prophet, the Muhajiri (people who migrated with him from Mekka to Medina); And the Ansar (Medinan people, who gave him shelter, protection, etc),--who followed in a time of distress, (9:117)

There are more verses where that is mentioned.

Again, some verses even reported that whoever follow his example (deeds, sayings, orders, etc), Paradise is granted for him. For example Chapter 9 verse 10, etc.

May Allah, the Most Exalted, guide us, ameen.
are u saying that the character described in that haddith is not forgiven? why was he not forgiven? and no one has been able to tell me why EXACTLY allah chose to forgive the past and future sins of mohammed, considering that allah has never forgiven anyone?

I dont want to derail this haddith. but thou has not answered my question.
if we analyse the deeds of mohammed as written in the haddiths dont u think that mohammed fits the character described in ur haddith?

Thanks everybody.

My first question is do you believe that video agaba123 showed with angel appearing is real? since he posted it, i've been thinking about it and can't get it off my mind. Just been thinking whether it is real or fake.

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-292282.0.html

I also have another question more intimidating, and don't know how to put it on here.

pls no matter how my questions sound, it is real and from me. Just a wondering mind. Hoping to hear from you.
My answer to ur question:

The video/image is inconclusive. There is no visual evidence to suggest or illustrate that indeed they saw or that was an Angel.

But I do believe that indeed they saw an Angel and who/what they saw was an Angel from God.
Here are my reasons for such believe:

1. The Angelic being appeared in a mode of worship. They were worshipping God when the being appeared, in order words they were in the presence of God. Where two or three are gathered, surely the Lord is there The manifestation of the angel is God's way of reassuring them of His divine presence.

2. When they saw the angel, the resultant effect was that they started reconciling with aggrieved friends present and glorifying God.
The first is a fruit of the spirit. the knowledge of God's presence enables us to do the things of God. by reconciling they bring to fulfilment God's wish that we be at peace with all including our enemies.

3. They saw the angel in the midst of praise and everyone present subsequently saw the angel via the camera, they all were excited and backsliders subsequently turned to God. The angelic visit served as a ministration that reassured all that God was still concerned about their welfare in this troublesome times. people subsequently started giving their lives to Christ.

4. The narrator also added that children subsequently went of mission trips, were full of God and wanting to know God better.
These are fruits of evangelism given only by the father.

I believe they saw an angel, but the graphical representation in that video is not a convincing depiction of an angel

feel free to ask other questions.

The people of (Hell) Fire will gather around him and say: O so-and-so! What is wrong with you? Didn't you use to order us to do good deeds and forbid us to do bad deeds? He will reply: Yes, I used to order you to do good deeds, but I did not do them myself, and I used to forbid you to do bad deeds, yet I used to do them myself."

debosky:
Text message: Pray for your family - Adeboye

Newspaper speculation: Adeboye buys jet, no wait, his church members buy a jet. wait it's 50m, no wait it's an old jet of 3m.

The text was purported to come from HIM, effectively signed by him. What similar evidence has been seen to link Adeboye with the jet except speculations? huh

Even if he makes any comment, do you think the speculation will end? NO - people will say he is lying or denying it. There is no point going on about an issue which is pure speculation.

So who is covering up? Thisday? grin grin Oh I guess the next thing is for Adeboye to come out and tell you that Thisday's article is not a cover up? grin grin Wait - Adeboye owns Thisday and is using Nduka Obaigbena as a front! shocked grin grin

If I publish an article on my website saying Adeboye owns a house on the North Pole, I guess he should also come and defend it? grin grin
The text of course - If Adeboye wants to communicate prayers to his church, he does so through his Pastors - obviously this didn't go through that route and needs to be dispelled as false. The jet issue was NOT RAISED BY MEMBERS but my mischevious press elements. If his members require a clarification, let them speak to their pastors or to Adeboye - it's none of your business.
That is a matter of opinion - Adeboye clearly takes the spiritual wellbeing of his flock and the spiritual messages as more important. A phantom jet without any evidence of linkage to Adeboye need not be defended nor even responded to.

Clarifications on RUMOURS? Why should he? Why pick this rumour? What other rumours are out there? Should he now make it a duty to be responding to the news peddlers who have no evidence and are not his constituency? huh
A distraction - is Adeboye a politician? Must he speak according to YOUR timeline? Last I checked, he can talk about whatever he wants whenever he wants. You neither elected him nor attend his church nor play any role in his ministry. I see no reason for you to dictate to him when he can or cannot speak as he chooses.

When RCCG bought over a defunct TV station and used it to start up Dove Media, was it hidden? When they built their auditorium in Texas was it hidden? When they acquired a License for a University was it hidden?

If there is anything that merits disclosure it will be passed across as and when due - responding to baseless media speculation is not what they specialise in.
do u actually think before u write this things? huh huh
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did Pastor Adeboye Responded 2 The Purpoted Sms Message & Not The Jet Issue? by noetic2: 8:58pm On Jul 07, 2009

How does the jet involve his name? Newspaper speculations?? That the next day the same newspapers claimed it wasn't owned by him? Why should he engage in mindless speculation when the 'accusers' cannot even make up their minds whether it was Adeboye's or the church's? Aimless speculation does not deserve any response
People say things that don't glorify God daily - should Adeboye respond to those?  huh What about those claiming he is friends with Ibori? He should come out to deny every bad thing people say about him.
The text was also a speculation. until adeboye spoke up everyone believed he sent the text, but because he did  not send the text he made clarifications.

why did he not apply the same logic to the jet? up till today every one believes something is fishy about the jet, it is only adeboye that can make a clarification, yet he has refused to. is this because he actually bought the jet and is now ashamed of himself? is it because he is afraid of the reaction of his members?

did u read the follow up report on thisday. That was a ridiculous attempt at a cover up. If adeboye could refute a simple text message because it was claimed that it originated from him, there is absolutely no reason why he should not refute the claims that he bought a jet.

The text purportedly said he sent a message about prayer request out to people - a fundamental part of his ministry as a pastor. It behooves him to clear up any speculation about that.
why does this same logic not apply to the jet?

which would have been more harm to adeboye's personality or ministry, is it the fact that he sent a multiple prayer request text or the fact that he bought a jet.

There is no big deal if he sent or did not send the text. But it is a big deal if he bought that jet.

No document has been brought out with Adeboye's name on any jet manifest, no evidence whatsoever. Who responds to speculation??
why are u resorting to documents? All adeboye has to do is to speak up on the matter and make clarifications. what is he scared of?

why did it take him 2 years until obasanjo left power to speak up on third term? what was he scared of?
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did Pastor Adeboye Responded 2 The Purpoted Sms Message & Not The Jet Issue? by noetic2: 8:35pm On Jul 07, 2009
debosky:
He has a right to choose whether to respond to speculations as well - the 'rights' of the public do not trump his personal rights.

If you can't figure out why he would respond to a message purportedly sent by him (with his name attached) then I don't know what to say to you.

There is no 'right' explanation beyond what I have given - one case was speculation (rightly ignored) while the other was misrepresentation using his name, which needed to be corrected.
This is the same mentality that brings to question the managerial skills of nigerians.

does the jet also not involve his name? why would he buy a jet is a poverty stricken nation? why did he not make clarifications about the jet? is it because he really bought the jet?

in fact he should have responded to the jet and not the text, cos the text made people pray but the jet made people make comments that do not glorify God. Adeboye was far on the wrong.

@noetic2,
ur arguement is like fighting oneself. with all the points and reasons that u highlighted above, wenger deserves ur respect and not the question raised by this topic. he lacks resources, he plays beautiful football and he is not incuring debt for the club so what else do u want? u can't be here and there the same time.
wenger to me will look for something else to do after his job at arsenal because that is the only club that can be this patient. meanwhile, wenger and the club owners are not interested in trophies in the next ten years because they are out to buy and sale and make the profit they want.
we must understand that if the so called wenger beautiful football is all what football is all about, every coach will be at ease and 99% of professional footballers can move the ball arround the picth like arsenal without ambition.
far from it. my position is simple.

wenger is a great manager, but we need short term results. . .we need TROPHIES now, . . .and if that means sacking wenger and getting a manager with a short term approach then so be it.
