Jerryd112: This is not Good, embassy this is not good for our heathy nature, after waiting for 6months and 6 days. I was refused on this. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay... So sorry about your refusal. |

maziude: Hello Bosses,
Special thank you goes to everyone who has been helping out, one way or the other. May God richly bless you.
Yes, I have been AWOL, it wasn't intentional. Mehn, the school thing for here no be beans (No be as we think am but thank we thank God for grace). There is no time to reason about anything. So, on behalf of those that landed this past August/September 2017, I apologize to you.
Congratulations to those that got approvals; to those waiting for their approvals, may God see you through ; to those delayed, repackage and refire.
A quick one about letter of introduction/correspondence. You do not need to fret about it. Your approval is on the system, all you need is to present your PP at the POE and all should be good with respect to your VISA confirmation. Not everyone that is here got that letter. Some even got the letter few weeks after they got here... So fret not and start preparations.
If you are landing in December/January... I beg you in the name of God, "gadge up". The weather no be joke... It is cold, yes very cold.
For those sending PMs, I got your PMs but I am time constrained, so responding in a timely manner will be difficult. So if you need an urgent answer to any inquiry, please use this space.
We are sorry once again.
Peace....
Mazi Thanks Bro. Been having sleepless nights because of Letter of Introduction! Like how many layers of clothes can one wear before the winter jacket. Been shopping for Aboniki up and down. @all, where can one buy winter boots in Lagos? |

The applicant with a son, don't ever hide your son. Let them know you have a son. In your SOP, explain how he would be catered for and be taken care of in your absence.
Hide him today, you will hide him for life when immigration to Canada issues pop up tomorrow. I'm sure you wouldn't like that!
That's how I was advised not to include my children in my application because I could be denied. Thank God for conscience , Maziude and Jyunwa who encouraged and strengthened my belief in adding them to my application. |

Ope100: I'm guessing you are both Online applicants. The letter should be in your CIC account, I received mine in my CIC account just after picking up my passport at VFS last week. Here's a link showing you need the letter at point of entry http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-arriving.asp Thanks. I applied via paper route but linked it online a day or 2 after my application. Let me check my account for the letter. Modified : I didn't get any Introduction Letter. So I need to write the Embassy for the letter. Please I need cic's email address. Kindly send it to me. |

akmog: @Austinpee4 and other guru
Pls advice on what to do, my visa was approved 3 weeks ago, and I have gotten my visa, stamped on my intl. passport but the introduction letter didn't accompany it. I checked my online profile maybe I could download it from there but there was no message there, I also checked my mail maybe it was attached to the mail they send to notify me of my approval it wasn't there. what can I do. thanks Hello akmog, what's this letter of introduction about? I didn't get any. I only got a mail from the Embassy asking me to check my cic account for the message they sent. That was how I found the approval message . Are we expected to get a letter from them other than the visa? What is the importance of this letter? Must we travel with it? |

Education › Re: What Can I Do With A Degree In Philosophy? by Nogen: 4:16am On Nov 23, 2017 |
@OP, have you heard of Neuroscience before? Google it. Your degree in philosophy can help you do a Masters degree in Neuroscience abroad. The problem in Nigerian Universities is that they are still teaching ancient courses whose career prospects have been extinct! |

PrinceMario: That's the problem with the South Easterners. They don't care the source of your wealth. Just make the money through any means and they'll celebrate you, and throwing you chieftaincy title here and there.
Come to think of this; a well known notorious killer still bag a chieftaincy title in the land. Shame!!!
Let Evans gain freedom today and you'll see him been celebrated over there. md So he is now a South Easterner not a Naija Deltan? |
