@Dunna, congratulations. I would like to find out a few things from.you. I also plan to go with my children because they are too young to be left behind for 4 years. I have made plans to put them in a daycare and I have gotten 2 willing to give us admission .
My husband is now going with us to help with the children while I study. He will be working part time from Canada and forward online to his office in Lagos .
Now, in my Certificate of Acceptance application form, I filled them as students too because that's what I'm coming in as . Also, visitors permit is usually a short one, visitors are not expected to stay more than 6 months. Why did you use visitors permit for your children ? I'm yet to apply for my study permit. That can guide me in my CIC application. Do I also tick work permit for my husband? How did you go about it?
Thanks. |

I have landed documents in my name, and about 3m cash....but no offline job.... But I really desire to migrate...should I go for permanent residency or student visa...? If your ultimate goal is to migrate , try Express Entry. All the best. |

cochtrane: The best advice I'll give you concerning reading is that the answers are almost always paraphrases in the original comprehension. If you understand this concept, you'll get a 9 in reading. Use that concept to practice. The reading is the easiest to get a 9 in, cos all the answers are staring you right in the face. I also believed so. That was I did in the last exam and I still scored 6.5. |

jergins: Listening is a game of full concentration. Once you miss to track a question while listening, my Rule is do NOT attempt to recollect. You'l end up missing more. Also try to remote all environmental disturbance. I had to ask to put off standing AC next to me. Above added to good prep. Sure to av the required good score. I totally agree with you. I messed up big time. It was even the section 1 that I drifted, the easiest part of the listening exercise. It means I got all others to have scored 7.5. Would have gotten 9. It's well. All other things I need for EE application is ready! ECA, POF, and so on. It's just this IELTS. Used to think POF would be my challenge for a family of 5 but I have been able to surpass that now. Thanks to God. My headache now is IELTS. I will surely overcome it too. Thanks |

My 2nd IELTS wasn't so good- L 7.5, R 6.5, W 7 and S 7.5. I lost concentration during the listening and missed 6 answers. I knew after the exam that getting 8 points would be a miracle. I got 8 in my first attempt and 6.5 for S, R , W. I did study for 2 weeks to get this new score.
How can one improve on reading? Any materials to use? |

Congratulations to those who got their TRV and to those who got a delay, please repackage and reapply. Try to look for graduate programmes in Masters or Doctorate if you qualify for one.
I am beginning to believe this pdg application does not fly with the VOs. If you must apply for one, let it be for genuine reasons such as low GP in your BSc or B.A or for some great reasons. Most people who got their delays applied for pgd. You may be genuine but the VOs don't see it as such because some fellows have abused it in the past! Success to us all! |

mamacajah: Hello All, Please I still need some clarification on this:
So I have finally gotten my ECA from WES completed (HALLELUYAH) after 4 months of back and forth with OAU and I am preparing for my IELTS test. So I need help with the following as I begin to gather the necessary documents for post ITA.
1. NOC- I am yet to sight an NOC for my work experience. My work was logistics HSE / data management related and the only NOC that seems to be close is 1215 but its only one item from the whole NOC description that I can link my work to. Other jobs done can be linked to NOC 1241 (Administrative assistant) and NOC 1411. So which NOCs do I use?
cc:cochtrane Sis, you are here too! Congrats on your ECA! |

Silvermoney: That means you registered as am MTurker resident on the EU? With a European IP address? As I believe the transfer to bank option is not available to most people outside the US. You mind clarifying this part? My MLM business is pretty straight forward . I deal in gold and diamond marketing . They pay straight into my Euro dorm account or in my Naira account. |

Silvermoney: What's the process for receiving money directly into your Nigerian bank account? And do you mean a domiciliary account or a regular local savings account?
Thanks Both. You provide your bank details and IBAN , the money is paid into your account. If it's Euro account, you will receive Euros. If it's Naira, your bank gives you the equivalent of the euros paid into your account. |

kevoh: I have read your response. It does not address how a Nigerian Turker using Nigerian I.P can withdraw his money straight into his bank account which is what he was asking. I am a registered Nigerian Turker and I know this, you only get paid with gift cards. If you can withdraw your money directly to your account as a Nigerian, registered as a Nigerian with location qualification as NG and using a Nigerian I.P, I will not mind to get the details of how you managed to do this. I am sincerely interested. Thank you! The MLM I deal with is all about Gold and Diamonds. |

kevoh: How possible is this when you're being paid in non-transferrable gift cards? You can only shop on Amazon with that money, nothing else! Except you are registered as an American using a US ip or an European using a European ip, what you typed in your comment cannot hold for Nigerian members. I am interested in the explanation on how you arrived at that! I never mentioned gift cards please. Read my response to him. |

Silvermoney: Quick questions about Mturk bro.
Are there restrictions on Nigerians participating in it (can you use regular Nigerian identity and IP address to work?)
As a Nigerian, how do you cash out your funds after completing HITS, as I learnt that Amazon only pays for completed tasks through non-transferrable gift cards?
Thanks. I have received my money direct into my bank account in Nigeria. It takes 5 working days for the bank wire. You receive your alerts and go to your bank to cash out because the money is in Euros. |
