There has been a speculation sometime now as travel agents complained that they were unable to book their clients travelling from Nigeria to Dubai via Emirates. A confirmation came this afternoon via a mail sent by Emirates Airlines and social media after @emiratesSupport on twitter responded to a question from @sagetravels. According to the Airlines, effective from 1st July 2016 their 2nd daily flight from Lagos to Dubai will be discontinued due to the unresolved difficulties in repatriating sales proceeds out of Nigeria. Henceforth, Emirates can only serve Nigeria with a daily flight from Lagos and Abuja respectively pending till when the situation gets better. One of the top officials disclosed to Sagetravels that the Airline is not planning to leave Nigeria, as a matter of fact, they are monitoring the situation. We are closely monitoring the situation and apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this may cause. He said. Within the first quarter of the year, airlines serving Nigeria are facing challenges due to the foreign exchange restrictions. Recall that Iberia, the official airline of Spain exited Nigeria and just last month United airlines, the major airline from Lagos to Houston also existed Nigeria. http://www.sagetravels.com/2016/06/emirates-airline-suspends-its-2nd-daily.html |

LadyGuinivere: Igbos? No we don't. Except the pentecostal ones that picked it up from church norms. Well, I'm Igbo born into Anglican Church Communion and I can authoritatively say that we do. All of us were named on the 8th day but in our living room. No party, no food, no drinks, no music just some prayers but on the 3rd month, the baby is taken to church for baptism and christening and the party takes place after the service for those who want to have a party. |

temyb: @ ajujuju2 amen, thanks a bunch. It was even because of the ivf I took flight ooooo. I don't believe those children might make it at 32 at the hospital back home. I didn't want to hear stories that touches the heart. As in I was just too scared. I would pay my Dr fee but I know we would be able to work something out with the hospital on the nicu,no money fit buy pikin. Have done 2 ivf,I had to just give myself brain. My prayers are that they don't stay more than 3-4 weeks maximum, they are doing good anyway. No complications&I believe there would be no complications, just one is on oxygen and they wod soon take it off. Believing God for the best for them,I just didn't trust my Nigeria hospital&u know general hospital can't be trusted with ivf even though they are sometimes good. God that has started his work would complete it My sister, congratulations dear and may your babies bring you joy. Now, don't panic so much over NICU bills, the most important thing is that they are alive and in good hands. I totally understand how you feel because I have been there. You need to be strong for yourself and your babies because you all would need you , especially when they come home from the hospital. If you need any support, feel free to pm me. I would be more than happy to help you. |

bbaby84: To be fair to just wise, he deletes all the numbers. You were lucky to grab the numbers before they were deleted. So while you're saying what you know, it's not necessarily the truth. Deleting of Tanko and Eddy's numbers is a recent development. I followed this thread from Part 1 till now. So I know what I am saying. For the last time, I DIDN'T LIE! Case closed! |

justwise: All lies and you know that because you can;t support that with any evidence.
They should pay to advertise here because their services are not free. I am not lying please. It was here I got Eddy and Tankos' phone numbers. When I delivered and learnt about ETC . I came here to inform others of another alternative to Naija visa and Naija passport, especially for those who do not want sending out their babies' US passports. YOU Justwise, deleted her number. So, I wondered why we could post Eddy and Tankos' phone numbers and not hers. |

Justwise always deletes her number here but allows Tanko and Eddy's as if they are not doing the same job for Nigerians in the US. |

powermike9999: Thanks @candyce. She was 1 week pregnant when we got d visa& we didnt even know.
Her passport shows dat she travelled to France abt d time of the holiday we wanted we only had to come back for unavoidable reasons.
I don't plan to have another child after dis i'm sure by d time she delivers d visa wld still have over a year left on it.
I have used mine & i would have wished she goes for a visit before delivery but d exchange rate has spoilt everything. Has any1s visa been cancelled after writing the embassy for change of purpose? Or if she goes without informing them and pays all d bills is it a bad 1?Pls educate me.Abeg.
Thanks. Let her go for a vacation in the US and return before using the visa for birthing. Letter of intent has been over abused and the guys at the POEs are not smiling either. |

vcole: hey dear, does your receipt have the discount too? I made them write me a letter stating I owe nothing and I have paid all my bills. I demanded they include all that I paid for in the letter because I don't want any issue at the Embassy or POE. They did all that for me and also attached one of their manager's official business card if need be. I did all that before I left the City. |

Msp: Pls did she present any receipt that had discounts to the VO? Because i know if you print the bill from your online account it will show deductions (maternity package) till you get a zero balance.
So the VO will be wondering who paid for the discounts or how did it come about.
Please can you ask her, this thing is getting scary The zero balance still contained the full amount and the amount discounted. People should learn from this and ask that receipt wey no go put person for wahala. |
