I think the Economic situation in Nigeria has started affecting Anambra State. Last month till now. Alot of screening has been going on to reduce the number of civil servants in the state. Salary was not paid in full last month and some was not paid. Today is 28th and yet no Salary. I think Willie Obiano is tired and he already said that there's no money again in the state. Which way Anambrarians?

what u wish for Anambra will befall you hundren folds. Anambra has never paid half salary before and remains one of few states which pays before month end. Most states do screening and economic situation in the country affects every state including Anambra. Take your frustration back to the noose and leave Anambra alone.

There is a thin line between beauty and development which if you are not careful you might misunderstand the two terms. Calabar for instance is more beautiful than Port Harcourt but Port Harcourt is far more developed infrastructurally and city wise. so Enugu might be beautiful serene and safe but where is foreign investors first port of call when they come to Nigeria ? the international community, which cities do they see as Nigeria's top most developed. Every advert you see in Nigeria about major investments summits has the format Lagos Abuja & Ph. entertainment wise Mtn project fame, Nigeria's got, Nigerian idol, Glo x-factor, Ay live shows name them, all go through Lagos-Abuja-PH format before any other cities comes up. They don't do all this for nothing. Let's not allow tribal sentiments make us look dumb, let's face the fact pH is more developed and Enugu is beautiful it's that simple .

in terms of economy port harcourt is more advanced no doubt, but development transcends that.

The problem PH had was the state creation. It was planned to be a port city to serve the eastern region. It was never planned to be an administrative capital like Enugu, calabar and owerri. It should be a big commercial center like Onitsha and Aba.
But it was made River state capital. How can one place serve as an oil city, industrial center and a state capital. It surely wont be as organised a Enugu

Reading out the resolutions of the Diocese
of Abuja Synod yesterday, the Primate
warned that such decision would lead to a

I'm sure you don't know about the LAMBETH and GAFCON conferences, one being the assembly of liberal bishops and the other being the assembly of conservative bishops which the Church of Nigeria belongs to. Do you know that the Church of Nigeria has since been proclaimed by the former primate not to be any longer in Communion with the See of Canterbury but in Communion with all Provinces that holds the historic faith and doctrines outlined in the Scripture which the Church of England has fallen out of with the ECUSA due to liberalism, automatically making the Church of Nigeria dealignated from them. You need to know more about the Anglican Church.

Member churches of Anglican communion relate on two basis. They are in full communion with the see of canterbury and in communion with each other. The church of Nigeria is formally in communion with Church of England as well as the rest, but restricts its relations 'cos of certain activities. Just like a married couple sleeping in seperate rooms for sometimes doesnt mean they are seperated. GAFCON is not recognized by the communion, it a platform where conservatives chat their common cause. Only the episcopal church and that of canada has the church of Nigeria formally stopped relating with cos they are liberal hardliners. Episcopal church was suspended by the communion earlier this year for 3yrs cos of their hardline position on samesex marriage. They'll not participate in any anglican activity in the global level nor represent Anglican communion even in US. The Cana (conservatives in US) has by implication been recognized as a seperate anglican province. The US chuch are expected to put their house in order witihn this period.

In this case, the battle is between the church and the diocese. What else do you call someone who tries to upset the basis on which the church was built to do the bidding of a few diocesan cabals?
