T4. Toyota gear oil. There's a new branding of oil can now. It's like off white in colour, a total shade from the previous black and red can.

Please, ensure you buy a genuine product. I suspect they rebranded cos a lot of fakes flooded the market.

Driving is not easy bro....especially on Lagos road....aside from unmotorable road networks, it's draining mentally, having to ferry/convey rude, good, bad, ugly, mean, sad, beautiful, humorous riders in a Sinusoidal graph pattern across length&breath of Lagos, coupled with a stint of insane korope, bike, faragon , tricycle riders....

Bolt bonus is quite absurd!
20% bonus after 8 trips, it was even laced with a proviso "85% acceptance n completion" rates.

VERY stupid offer. Is this a bonus? I'm not even sure they understand what is called bonus.
So if I have 83%,i forfeit the bonus.

No be by force to do bonus. Give me a good surge trip and take your 23%. Don't need any yeye incentive to drive longer hours.

How long does it take bolt to review trip?
I carried a rider on 1.9 surge from Ikosi Ketu
to ologolo, Lekki yesterday (it was a card trip ). We spent 3hrs to get to destination. Trip was 11200 but Bolt has been reviewing it for over 30hrs. I have been mailing bolt bot they refused replying to me and rider is not taking my calls too.
What should I do?
Thanks
It's a card trip, you hv no business with the rider again. Bolt will review it n give you a final fare.
If you feel the fare is not accurate, you appeal it by mailing them again. It's a card trip, you shouldn't worry about it.

Anyone sending money to Bolt without quoting your reference no. shouldn't complain if you don't get credited.

The system does not know your name. Over 5,000 drivers dropping into one single goody bag.

Your name/identity is your reference number. In fact, if you are writing Bolt as regards financial issues, quoting your reference no will make it easier for both parties.

How did you send it.? App or ussd. Did you input your reference no. in the narration/remark.?

I don't get restricted to card trips on Bolt cos I preempt all the moves.

Solution : for weekends, transfer like 10k to Bolt before COB Friday. that way Sat & Sun is covered. It's still your money.

very easy, use your bank app. In the narration, put in your "reference number" within an hour or tops 2 hrs, ur 10k is sitting in your wallet.

I had to visit their office again today. This is for Uber go. The car is for Hp ,18 months, they take everything you make daily. You are to do 72 trips weekly, then if u can meet up that 72 trips before Friday, whatever you make the following days of the week is Yours. You are to fuel the car, they give you 5500 every day Once you meet your daily target. ( Working for 10 hrs) . They handle the maintainance. After the 18 months the car is yours..Ogas in the house how una see am?
Look for rentals. 72 trips weekly is not a small task, week in week out. No matter how healthy you are, you can't max out 16 weeks on that schedule without a breakdown. after then, you start struggling for your own small change.

You do HP only on your terms or terms favorable to both parties, in this case, they are the ones dishing out the rules.

Your search for a car is not disruptive enough, you might need to canvas physically. Let me give you a strategy.
do you desperately need a car? Follow these steps.

1.Go to a cyber Cafe, type out the following on an A4 sheet of paper.

" I need a Car
A very hardworking and careful driver.
No stories on your money
YOUR PHONE No. (BOLDED)"

They will type it in a way that you will have 5 or 6 repititions of that same message on 1 page of the A 4 paper.

Print out a very sharp Copy. ( this is your original copy).

2. Keep the original. Make 20 photocopies of the original. Use a ruler to individually tear the 20 A4 paper messages into strips. You should have 100-120 strips of that message "I'm a hardworking driver,.... No stories on your money".

3. Put everything into a big brown envelope.

4. Head to the busiest Bolt inspection Centre in Lekki. You seem to be on the island. Good for you. Ensure you are there when they start, do not miss any car.

5.Approach the individual car owners and politely state why you are there. After each short engagement (5-8mins). Hand them one out of the 100-120 strips of paper ( your cv literally).
NB. Don't dress shabby and dont over dress. A clean shirt and trouser (tuck in) even if it's sandals, tuck in. People judge on appearances.

For it to work, you need faith, say a prayer to the Father of lights for Favour and guidance, ( very important, believe me, some drivers in this same Lagos are getting 3-4 offers of cars. people are begging them to get them drivers or drive the car for them
) you can skip breakfast for the few hours of storming that center.

There is no way if you DILIGENTLY share 100-120 strips of paper to individual car owners in that Centre. You must get at least 10 good offers.
Things don't just happen, they are made to happen.

Goodluck.

The truth is, even if bolt jack up rates to 25%, nobody will do anything cos there is no regulation . LASG is happy, as long as ₦20 per trip keeps dropping into their Aza.

Only if Uber can do the needful and open up destination, ( I know they won't) then they might close up the gap.
As it stands, Bolt still leads.
When a rider is tired of waiting forever for a ride, he/she opts for Bolt inspite of being slight higher.

InDriver : I was expecting them to disrupt the status quo, highly disappointed, they are quite content with the crumbs they get.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 10:01pm On Dec 13, 2021
Bolt controls the market pan Nigeria. That's why they increased commission.
If their deal with Max sails through, they further tighten the hold on the Lagos market.

InDriver, I have not seen such kind of guys like that before, they choose to remain bottom feeders.
Behaving like vultures, embarassed eating crumbs and leftovers.
If they go up, like 15-20% away from pricing on Bolt, they will still get more drivers to their side. Still displaying stupid fares even on festive days embarassed

The game of ehailing is decided by the number of drivers in your pool.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird:

No one can tell me otherwise that this new 3% booking fee from bolt is not a scam, this is a deliberate and subtle increment of their commission without you really knowing or coming out to fight, they're disguising it as 3% booking fee for riders, meanwhile its the drivers that bear the brunt of it all.

We all know that starting and ending a ride on bolt irrespective of moving from that spot gets you 600N. But how come that 3% booking fee didn't get calculated into the 600N, later on the driver gets to pay for that 3%.

Be like bolt don overgrow wings oo.
VERY true.
Drivers bear the 3% increase. It's not passed on to the riders at all. They increased commission because they know they are the market leader.

Why not corolla or matrix or the earlier civics, 03/04. you are new to car issues, the corolla has a strong point there, no serious issue if you service on point.

If you have enough experience under your belt, you can then upgrade. Cos it's the same fares even if it's 09/10 Accord.

Having posted much in this thread, if you are a farmer and you you still listen to these cursed ones, then, let it be known that you are on your own.

Ask yourself how many times it rain in 2021 in SW. When last did you get the usual rainy season that it rains cat and dog from May to July? Do you know what is called August break? We all used to get relieved for the two last weeks in August, and then round 2 used to start again from Sep to Oct. This pattern used to be sure in those days. If we have this pattern, why would I ask anyone to use irrigation? Why would I waste money? You want to use your pension to do something good, ask yourself....when last did you see rain like this pattern I have just described?

Listen, no matte the prediction you get from a siothsayer, there is no rain in SW. And it will get worse. Go and get irrigation to avoid stories. The reasons that it will get worse in SW is around the corner. A refiner is about to start Operations in Lagos. Things will get worse. Do not let anyone fool you.

Lack of theory knowledge and lack of using the cognitive brain part is what is wrong with the fske consultants above. Theirs is rank Xerox. They cannot predict too. They have failed. All they are doing is posing as consultants to make money. Run away from them. Let them not drag you down. Research very well before you do anything.

Dangote Refinery
Do not expect positive change in climate. Listen to me the whole of Epe will be commercialized soon. That is the main place farming takes place in Lagos. But soon, the whole of the place will be oil and gas area. Farms are packing out soon. Land value will increase so that farming wont be lucrative again. And then, the whole climate there will be a disaster. I pity the people of Epe. Life expectancy there will fall below 40 soon. The whole of Lekki and Ajah ....they are in soup. So, you think rich men dont know what they are doing by sand filling the Atlantic ocean to start living there? Rich people are building skyscrapper on the atlantic now so they can move away far from Dangote Refinery..so, you think they are stupid? How many rich people are buying land in Ikoyi again? They are waiting for Eko Atlantic apartment so they can move towards the ocean where the air is well filtered. So they can breath in good air again. So, you think they are stupid? I pity poor thinking people. There will be 100% fully operative sea port, airport, etc in Ajah/Epe soon. What is this telling you? I want to see how rain will be normal again in SW with the activities going on. No need to talk again. When the world is about to stop oil is when Nogerian wants to fully enter it. Lol. See eh....you better use your head.

Have you read about the German scientists cry for change that Lagos will submerge in water in 50 years the way we are going? Everything happening to SW comes from Lagos. Rain pattern didnt just get distorted. You are educated and you can research on the internet. The shame is on you if you listen to illiterates here. Use your head.

Do you cost yourself, do not listen to these scammers
I am not going to work out the economics here cos the man wants to restrategize to use another method to dupe people. He knows nothing. You can sit down and do simple arithmetic. Find the cost of irrigation. Be careful cos sellers are thieves too. Research the population you can get from your drip and you can easily predict. There is no way you will use drip and not achieve min of 95% success rate except you are attacked by caterpillars, birds, or army worms. If you know how to feed corn well, and you use the right seed, and the three above can be guarded against, you are surely making it. Do not be misguided, if you have a good market, and you want to sell fast, you will make it big.

Even people who sell dried corn are cheated everytime. When you dont know the market, you will lose out. How many farmers can afford to clear more than 2 acres on NL? They are mostly poor. Those who can do more 10 acres read silently, and they contact people who they know are efficient. If you follow these one, you are printing your obituary in advance.

Put irrigation on your farm and do 2 acres only. You will harvest more than the faemr with 6 acres, and you will spend less. Then, next time, you will shoot up your profit exponentially because you arent buying irrigation anymore. But if you listen to 6 and 9 people, you will keep visiting Majek Fashek in his grave asking for rain everytime.

Depending on rain to farm corn and vegetable on 2021 is very stupid. Ha ba! Global warming is getting serious. This is why the whole world always come together. This is why oil will be obsolete soon. This is wh we have more electric cars in advance world. Do not be stupid and listen to these people. The game is changing. Dont listen to them. I hope you watch news in your phones. You better dont board the same sinking ship with these people.

If you know you dont want to use irrigation now, move to a region rain is still a bit constant. Leave oil and gas areas, leave the north, and leave SW.

But very soon, the whole of Nigeria will be affected. If you are a pensioner, ask yourself, is this how things were in your teenage days? Do we have diseases coming out now in your early days?

Drought problem is all over the world. Those places snow falls....they are complaining of rapid increment of global warming. Seeds are changing evertime with more drought resistant varieties coming out. And it will not get better soon. Do you want to say you dont know about these things?

You lose cos you dont know market
These consultants also pose as sales agents. If you are succesfuly cut them off. Do everything possible to avoid them. I give farmer direct links to sell their products. Cut off these wicked ones. They are number one reasons you lose. The guy up there know you are not making it that much cos he will put himself in the middle to short you. So he will discourage you from using irrigation. Go and research well before you start. I am writing my epistles here again to warn you. These ones have sealed their conscience and have sold their souls to satan.

if you dont fall into the hand of another scammer while buying your irrigation, you are covered. You cannot lose with irrigation. Any farmer who tells you irrigation is wrong is against you. Tell the person to go to places. In 2021, you still want to farm like you are in 1960s. Poverty will be your friend. Listen, leave these crazy ones, and join farmers who use irrigation. Study them well before you go to farm. You dont need me if you research well. If I have done it without you, you can do it too with me too.

If you are in SW, you will downsize for sure, and you go gradually. Then, with irrigation, you start moving into other crops to make life easier for you. You start practising crop rotation effectively and efficiently. Farming becomes very easy. Do not trap yourself and get chained to these crazy people who want to always take from you. Be wise.

With irrigation, you roll here and there. You visit tomato threads ,cucumber threads, you are ready to farm all round the year. You can plan well. You make your money faster. You dont start deceiving yourself counting days and listening to fake predictors. Why do you want to consult a fake juju man to give you rain when you can easily use tech. Tech is surer.

There is NiMET which predicts and forecasts rain, sun thrlught the year. They forecast weather. But they have been getting it wrong. In fact, their publications and productions are always late these days. Rely on them at your peril. Listen, the only prediction that is sure for SW with Dangote refinery is that rain will decrease more, and the area will get warmer with more air pollution. There is nothing to predict there. There is no 6 and 9 situation there. It is a "surebet".

This is my last post here. If you are stupid enough to listen to these unfortunate people, goodluck to you.

I am out of this thread.
No figures to bring out. Just curses, abuses. Your mind is in a state of turmoil. You can't even justify your position.

You want me to give you the economics of drip? It will not work cos I will nog release it here. Hahaha grin You better go and check my "old old" threads. People here know me well.

Fake consultant, I will never put the economics here for you to use. When I say it is possible, it is.

Listen when fake consultants like you said mulch is not good economic wise, what did I do? I slammed them. Even your mods here beefed me. Today, are they not the same using mulch? Even now that muclh is even more expensive....it is profitable to use it. Lol. You dont know cos you are not a farmer.

When their children in farming listened to me and they saw the dividend, they started using mulch. Listen, I have been using mulch for over 7 years. And I moved in very good quality. Listen to me, seller consult me. I let them know the best.

I am the one who told people to use the right spec of drip. Anyone who wants to go against me here should come out. I am the one who put the arithmetic of drip here that everyone starts using. I am the one who explained the science behind it well for people to understand it well. Consultants used to confuse people as if it is a rocket science. But the day I scattered the arithmetic here, people saw that its "pure water". Many have been importing themselves.

You better humble yourself so you can learn. All this gra gra will do you no good. See, it will earn you that stroke you want to give others.

Oga, you are a fake consultant. Even I have discussed this subject recently. Fake consultant who doesnt know the true rain pattern here.

See , you want to destroy your reputation if you go against me here, cos I am ready to destroy it for you. You will be the one who will spend 5 good years in a nervous rehabilitation center treating stroke by the grace of God cos I will not allow you to injure others here. You will kill yourself with your useless suggestions here. Non of these people trying to provide for their families will ever treat stroke. You will be the one who will carry the load of paralysis you want to drop here.

Wicked man.
You know nothing about Maize farming. Nothing....... Drip irrigation on maize during rainy season grin textbook farmer.

You are just blabbering. No one asked to consult for anyone. Check the thread.
I said you dont know Jack about maize, cos if you did, you won't even mention drip irrigation.

You haven't answered the question. You told him to run 3 acres on drip irrigation.

And I said you don't know jack about maize farming.
Cos in a cycle of 3 acres, that's 1ha and 0.5 acre, if he sold all his produce, he can't cover the costs of drip irrigation alone. We are not even talking of labor, seeds, fertilizer, chemicals used etc.

That's your advise to the young man...

I just gave you an analysis up there that puts your irrigation stuff on maize to dust.

BTW, don't feel important, all anyone needs is to visit the vegetable threads, okoroemeka has done justice to it and several other guys.

I wanted you to quote figures to see that you are estranged from reality as regards maize.

There are a lot of farmers who do maize n it's rain fed without your bullshit cut and join weather predictions. Some of these farmers are even in Northern Nigeria where rainfall is quite unpredictable.

If you dont want to be unfortunate for the remaining part of the days in 2021, dont mention me again. And never in your miserable life. You are warned. Very wicked consultants like you are out there.

As poor as you are and cannot afford drip, you will not be able to afford drip for a long time with your wickedness. I am sure this guy is poor. He is for sure. Imagine this wicked person telling him to rely on rain in April and May in Ogun and Oyo. It is like you have been cursed. And your boldness to mention me and face me that my post is falsehood is out of this world. See, only your farm will perish in 2022 March to May. If you dont stop your internet farming, nemesis will catch up with you. Wicked soul.

Dont follow this one ooo. I repeat, Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos are messed with rain ooo. If you try it without drip irrigation, you are in trouble. You will turn to prayer warrior. You will visit Majek Fashek in his grave to send down the rain. You are warned.

You can break even and make reasonable profit even with drip irrigation. Its all about mathematics and well calculated plan. This boy is an internet farmer, please, dont listen to him if you are in Ogun, Lagos, or Oyo. From Benin down to SS, you may take the risk, but never try this in SW if you love your investment. Do not listen to this goat.

Even you do not make huge profit the first time, you will surely make it the second time. Drip will not get spoit like that. So, if you are afraid, take the first round as payment of your irrigation system. By the time you go the second time, you are in money. Then, you arent restricted again. You can do 4 times a year on your large acres. Spit into four and keep rotation. Move your drip around. You are at the winning end at the end of the year.

Do not listen to this miserable poor consultant who is going to run into trouble alone in 2022. Go and ask very well how those cultivating corn in SW are suffering. They are always begging Gid for rain. You have been warned ooo.. Dont listen to this already unfortunate consultant.

Goodluck to all maize farmers in SW.
I will quote you. Cos your own consultancy has no economics in it. You don't even farm. You only know how to curse, no logical presentation up there. Textbook farmer...

Give me the cost analysis of running drip on a 3 acre farm for maize. Show me cost projections, then you can come back and talk.

You call yourself a farmer, and you are suggesting drip irrigation for a 3 acre maize.? It means you don't know jack.... You don't even know anything and you are displaying your ignorance here.

Talking about no rain, ever heard of hybrid seeds that are drought resistant (with minimal rainfall they will yield provided all other agronomic practices are fulfilled). Textbook farmer.

The next submission you bring, we will talk figures.....
