That Adebola guy is what I call a man. Call their bleeping bluff.

I mean for christsakes, what is Bolt turning into.? Whoever gave them that app update needs to be sanctioned. My activity score is below 50.right now. I'm surprised I have not been blocked.

Anyways I no send them, they block themselves not me. As long as there is life, great things are possible. Very selfish and inconsiderate bunch of people.

I sold 130k December and 220k per ton this January ending. B. It should be ready for sale by 70 days (fresh), and ready to be shell by 110 days(dry). You have to be smart when you are planting to sell dry. You can not plant anytime of the year..it should be June ending-early august.
Thanks boss. Date is duly noted.

Aje.. Even if it's 7k I get with peace of mind, I don't mind. But I won't cower to the bullying of Bolt, last last, they wield the big stick. It's not the end of the world.

I'm enjoying indriver. You just need some patience on the app. Before weekend, I will go and do inspection on Uber.

I don't give a care in the world what Bolt does, if it's easy to buy a car and maintain it, why haven't they (Bolt) bought cars and employed drivers to drive it..... With all the hundreds of millions in profit they rake in.

New one. Lol
Bolt is trying to manipulate drivers, moreover, the pricing is still bullshit. The most important factor is "freedom to choose trips"

What do they mean by commission is 20%,Bolt thinks they are talking to dumbos. Booking fee that was ₦20 per ride, all of a sudden they increased to 5% of the ride fare, who does that?

On the pricing, Bolt said, they increased by ₦8., so if you do a trip of roughly 15km. ( the average trip in Lagos) e. g V. I to Yaba.,

The driver makes a net increase of ₦120, less 25%,Bolt still takes ₦30 from the said increase. it still drags down to ₦90.

So all that wahala they added to the app(driver's score) , it's only worth ₦90, Bolt is not serious,

₦90 for christ sakes, NINETY NAIRA, huh huhwhat is ₦90 going to do for you in this economy?

Bolt, master manipulators.

@ Farmerakinloye6.
I trust you are good. A quick one. Please.

A. What price (best price in Akure) per ton did you get for your dried maize?

B. How many days after maturity of the maize ( maize should mature in 80-85days after planting) can one leave the maize to dry completely,if one plans to sell dry.

They were testing out the rubbish before, now my android with old version shows driver score.

This is great, i would love to see the results of this rubbish.
As in total Rubbish, they have been mailing me about my falling driver score, I can't be an employee without paid benefits.

I'm seriously considering my options now. Bolt is crazy.

@ YeyeGbami. Thanks for the link.

Bolt is crazy, you are not paying me salary, yet you want to convert me into an employee.

I have downloaded Rida. Topped up my balance on Indrive. Someone mentioned another app called 'pick me up'. Will try and download that too.

After over 20 months of ignoring Uber, I will proceed to do inspection n try them again.

After 25%,i must choose my trips.

Nothing more to add. I'm sure you are one of the target unemployable folks this post set out to address.
With each rebuttal, you have corroborated my initial point. Looking for excuses to remain lazy and not make the needed changes to become employable.

And by the way - on your points on me paying peanuts. Lol. You missed where I said I lost hundreds of thousands of naira on low-value hires.

My payout rate was NGN50,000 per week (that comes to NGN200k per month) for fresh graduates because I wanted to give young people a chance. That's more than 6x the national minimum wage. But with submissions like yours, I now see why most employers of labor insist on paying peanuts. Since people don't want to take corrections and learn how to improve themselves and their value.
You also displayed one of the weaknesses you wrote about in the so called fresh graduates.
You couldn't take a criticism of your submission. You hastily concluded N2B is one of your so called unemployable folks.

Be open minded, that's the pathway for growth.

Good morning.
Still doesn't change anything, the roads are bad, infrastructure is shitty. Those cabs can only survive on the Island. They can't be maintained on the normal fares of Bolt and Uber.

Just another avenue to reward some political cronies.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 4:33am On Feb 08, 2022
Uber of those days, how the mighty are fallen.

Can't believe it's the same Uber wooing drivers now by giving 2% after 8 trips. They lost so many drivers to Bolt over the years...

Bolt is also towing the same path. I always say it, when you develop a policy, bring all the stakeholders on board, don't just do "top to bottom approach".

What works in other climes might not work in another locality (due to factors like, cultural differences, customs, norms and values, belief systems)

You can't sit in air conditioned offices and force drivers to accept all trips, we are not your employees, ( you don't pay me salaries, leave bonuses, sick leave, pension or gratuity)
we are partners, after 25%, you can't just force anything down my throat.

Nobody get hack on how to boost drivers score. You mean, everyone has been moving Lagos with all trips.

Cos the way dis driver score was programmed, they want you to do at least 90% of trips. After taking 25%,..... walahi, embarassed Bolt is crazy.

Just kidding. I think is after every 100 trips it will update

You did not accept, 1% drop of driver score

You cancel, 1% drop of driver score

Client cancel, 3% drop of driver score

You can boost your driver score by completing aleast 80% of your trip
, I filter trips like kilode. How can it go up. After 3 trips, it didn’t move at all.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 11:33am On Feb 07, 2022
Brethren, Biko, How can one boost the driver's score.? When riders cancel, the value also drops. I have done 3 trips already, the thing is not moving up.

If Didi chuxing is coming to Nigeria, that's good news, I heard they bounced Uber out of China.

They should come and disrupt the ehailing space. There's no competition, Uber is happy, indriver is content with the crumbs.

Bolt is already a fat cat with greasy paws, taking over 25 % with shitty fares. that's why they introduced the stupid driver score policy.

You take over 25% of the bread, you don't do repairs or any servicing whatsoever, yet you still want me to go anywhere in Lagos.

Greedy things. You know a guy tipped me ₦500 on a card trip, you won't believe it, these bolt guys still took commission from the tip.

I'm not too bothered about stuffs like that. But I'm amazed at how a corporation can be so petty and stoop low to that level (taking over ₦100 from a tip someone gave me ( the guy said he enjoyed my company, hence the tip.)

Bolt needs competitors, I think that will straighten them up.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird:
Bolt is funny, you are charging over 25% commission, you still want to force me to go everywhere. Like who does that? Is Bolt responsible for repairs? With their shitty fares.

No more competition, if indriver had pulled their weight like Ocar, then they wouldn't have the audacity. Imagine, out of ₦13k plus, they took a whooping ₦3850. I will choose my trips. Don't care about any stupid policy.

Guys don't run any traffic light with a camera whether it's 11pm or 3am no matter what. With the new policy of Road worthiness renewal, apart from the stress of waiting and real inspection of the vehicle functions, computers are checked for traffic light violations and all fines are paid before Documents are Issued.
20k for traffic light violation. Imagine running traffic light once a week for the past 1yr grin
Be careful out there.
I was told the cameras were installed to check for expired documents ( the revenue generated from renewal of documents nosedived) and not traffic light violation.

Is 30k/week too much to ask a rider to deliver in Abuja? I intend giving my car to someone this week. I’ll handle all maintenance because I no want any Kazeem to disfigure my car.
Go with the industry standard in your locality. There is a generally acceptable weekly rate in your zone. ( how do you know?, ask 5 or 6 Uber guys in the FCT, that should give you the figure)

I believe the standard in Abuja hovers around 25k, + or -, while Lagos hovers around 30k + or -. ( though it's not a delight for any investor)

The two cities can't be compared. Lagos earnings are way higher than that of Abuja.

As long as I've signed an HP deal, I can never pay back the money in months instead of years I have signed, even if I have the full money. I will rather divert the excess money to something else and keep paying the HP gradually till the end of the duration of the contract.

You're paying HP at higher price than the original price because it has already been spread over a period if time. I can only pay earlier than agreed HP period if the car owner is ready to give a lil discount for paying earlier

Look for rentals. That way, you will learn the ropes, how can you start with HP as a rookie.? HP (if it's not graded tokunbo) is a pipe dream.

to be an ant. I don't think 25k should be hard to deliver in 6 days of work.
