Viking07: To be honest I think 10k should be the base/average target for any driver. I started this hustle 2 months ago and any day I work full day because I do this part time (on my off days) I must go home with 10k inside my pocket not Uche’s bolt account balance.
It is now a routine that for every 8500-9000(full tank) fuel I buy I must make 10k three times before I refill. And this is just in Abuja with horrible fare, I believe Lagos should be higher.
There are people who net 20,30 even 40k daily, but these are experienced old timers with a long network of offline clients. Trust me. Driving in Abuja is easier. I have tasted both cities long enough to come to this conclusion. It's easier to get an offline client in Abuja than in Lagos, you know what I'm saying. What do you mean by horrible fares.? The differences are not really marked from a ₦/Km. perspective. Once there's no multiplier, I don't see any real difference. |

So which one is the Link youre saying bro? He was talking of specifics... What kind of certification (s) to become a DA and get a chance to escape from this country . If it's programming,(python n R or sql) what's the fastest pathway... Say in 6 months... And what specific skill set should we aim for.. I think that's what he meant by link. |

obalala: Hey guys, just a short motivation for some1 out there, I remember coming here early last year to find out full details needed to join uber and bolt with my hybrid pruis, (majority said it was risky and all, cos of the cost of maintaining the hybrid), anyway the onus of the post is to encourage everybody out there to have a primary focus on something more long term rewarding aside this hustle. I picked up courses online and everyday I read btw 4am-7am before entering the streets to pick up passengers, by the end of 2021 I did two certifications and started applying online, all these while I was still on e-hailing hustling and VIO showing me pepper. To cut the long story short I am currently working abroad as a data analyst based on my 1year focus on online courses. Last night a close friend of mine that joined the uber platform thru me also got his first job interview (praying he scales thru) . In conclusion PLS HAVE A SIDE GOAL AND DO SOMETHING EVERYDAY THAT TAKES YOU CLOSER TO THAT GOAL ( LET THE UBER HUSTLE BE A TRANSIT THING).. have a great week That's great. Congrats. Driving 247 in Lagos damages ur mental process. You won't be able to think critically. One lesson I got here: Consistency, take steps towards your future goal daily. |

Viking07:
Honestly na “dead driving” dey kill me. Yesterday was terrible. I’m still learning the ropes the hard way.
Bolt go show you veritas university. You won’t know the university is deep inside one village where you will blow back empty till you click start trip. @ vikings. You must reduce dead driving, you r not burning fuel only. You accrue wear n tear on the car too. In Fct, long trips will pay you more. With a corolla 07,getting offline clients shouldn't be a prob. You should understand how the city breathes. e. g. On Fridays, around 12noon - 2pm Central business district ( NNPC towers, CBN HQ, Budget n national planning) is hot. Likely trips: Idu railway Station, Airport. Transcorp Hilton too. on Fridays, from 12noon. just drive in , by the time you make two turns within the driveway, one client will flag you down for Airport... Try n wear nice shirt n trouser, well starched n ironed on these days, even if na kaftan sef, better (you blend more). |

GeneralZodd: .
I disagree with You on this.
No be everybody wey dey into crypo are into G. My cousin's friend who is Medical doctor in Dublin started this Crypto investment fews years back in IRELAND, he is a billionaire in Naira as I speak. My cousin told me his friend used to buy different Cryptos at their earliest stages and keep them. From Bitcoin to Dogecoin to Etherum to cadano etc. The Shiba coin I just invested in, he was the one that introduced my cousin to it few months ago and the coin is growing massively. My $ 100 investment is now $230 in space few of days. I wonder it would be in few years time.
All this info, I am not supposed to be dishing it out here. I just felt I could change lives by sharing it to others here on this thread
If you are equipped the with right information. Crypto fit blow u over night without even doing G.
As For OBiwanne Okeke " Invictus OBi" I knew him back then before FBI arrested him. He made his money through BEC. Business email compromise. He hacked email of one Big company in Yankee and hijacked financial transactions through Wired transfer over ₦11 billion naira. to his Bank account. He was never into Crypto. He was suppose to settle one lady when visited U.S, he didn't and he was exposed.
He is Nairalander. Infact FBI traced him through his nairaland account.
2004- 2008, Bnaira those days UNILAG was obviously G boy. I schooled in you UNILAG business Admin department. Bnaira was in faculty of Arts. He was driving one Red range rover then, very loudsy and flashy guy with his dreads back then. I see him on campus those days with customise plate number
G never gave him the kind of money has now Friends wey dey very close him said is Crypto.
I have alot friends who are into G, I know as e dey go but G is never my way. I can never choose that part.
You can make good money with Crypto long-term investment.
What I have learnt from YouTube alone is amazing. Let's not argue about this. Go and get your facts right. Invictus was nabbed when he went to see his new born baby daughter @ the hospital, he wasn't in United States, the Feds were already waiting for him. d mop of G guys is pretty straight forward Have you ever asked yourself why crypto is the favored platform nowadays? Let me give you a scenario? 8 guys pull a job that brings in 2.5m dollars If they share, each gets at least 300k dollars a piece. There is no bank account in Nigeria that will receive such funds without raising a flag from cbn n it's affiliates. With crypto, it's like a pebble dropping in the sea. It won't be noticed. That's where most Gboys keep their stash now. You don't have to believe it. |

GeneralZodd: Go learn Crypto bro and stop driving the whole of Lagos like headless Chicken.
I carried one Bigboy from Ikeja to Oral Estate, Lekki, the dude was advising me on investing on crytop currencies on a long-term. He showed me so many things on his phone regarding his investment. I was flabbergasted. Young lad wey never reach 35years don buy house, get expensive cars in his garage. I saw Brabus of ₦50M and 2020 CLA Benz owned by him. Omo fear catch me. This Uber hustle cant make u rich O!. It's good as side hustle.
And what made him show me all these info was when I told him I am looking for a profitable business I can invest like ₦4 million. @ General zodd. Your rider is a Gboy, and his affiliates are G boys too. Crypto is the front for most of them. Crypto is the exchange house for getting their proceeds, then they convert to naira when it's needed Don't get me wrong, I have always maintained it too that this Uber thing is a stop gap, no future in it. But believe me, your rider is a Gboy. Most of them on the island are sophisticated and forward thinking unlike the ones around Egbeda, abule egba, iyana ipaja, who just sling small pouches around, club and chase girls. I will give you an example, Invictus Obi, aka obiwanne okeke (if he was not caught, by now, he also would have been chanting the crypto mantra as one of his investment vehicles). Heck, the dude even graced the pages of Forbes Africa, but the FBI had put a tab on him for years, they had all the evidence, and they were waiting patiently for him to step on the American soil. He got too careless and he was nabbed at Virginia. He didn't even go to trial, opted for a plea bargain. That's why his sentence was light. The other guy you mentioned too is also a front, ask folks in Unilag then. BEC scams were not too common in those days. |
