You can give a third party like another family member access to your information or he can be a representative to apply on your behalf. This won't be necessary since you are handling the application.

As for the other screenshot, Visit-All other types is the correct response. That drop down menu changes when you try to submit an application for a family member. Dont know why.

I am inquiring about my sister who wants to apply for Canadian visitors visa. She has been to the UK once and 3 times to US though her US visa is now expired.

I want her to visit Canada as I will be going to Canada to visit too in a couple of months (the same time she will be in Canada if granted a visa). I'm not a Canadian Citizen, but I am a US Citizen. I know that Canada and US are 2 different countries.

My question is, will writing a letter ( stating that I will be visiting Canada too for tourism) together with proof of my Status in United States and also employment status be of benefit to her during her Canadian Visa application? She also has a friend in Canada who has her PR and willing to send her an invite.

Will it also be good if I add my statement of account as well? As I will be making hotel reservations for us. She also has her own statement of account to add as the primary applicant.

Secondly, can she use 2-3 months bank statements for her application? She has her own business. What other supporting documents can her husband add to her application? He also owns a block industry.

As for family ties, she's married and living with her spouse in Nigeria. She has a 7 months old son who is a US citizen. She paid all her medical Bill's and has all the proof of payment. I would love her to visit with her son and use her hubby as a family tie back home. She can also use my mom too as a tie. Or will it be better to apply for herself alone without including the son in her application? Though her son is a US citizen and doesn't need a Visa to visit Canada.

Lastly, what is the minimum amount for her to have in her account?

I would really appreciate if someone can answer these questions for me. Thank you in advance!

Sorry to ask but what's the purpose of your trip to Canada? A conflict of purpose will have a negative impact if you intend to support application.

She has to show that she and her husband are capable of funding her trip to Canada even if you are taking care of the hotel reservation.

Leaving her 7month son to travel to canada doesn't really sit well. Traveling with him she would need consent letters and proof of residing relationship with her husband.

2-3months statements is not sufficient IMO. The minimum I've seen is 4months for online apllications. Supporting documents list are available on their website. They list documents that show her strong ties to Nigeria.

I previously shared the documents I used to get a Canadian visa in 2016 valid till 2021. By God's grace I was able travel to Vancouver in 2017 and havent been to Canada since then. We have a child that is a US citizen.

Morning bibi. You can't view those documents on the CIC website after submission. You can only see their names as uploaded.

The best thing is to preview before uploading. If per chance the documents become corrupt during the upload process I believe CIC may give you a chance to send another one if they need it.

Ordering GCMS Plus notes can provide you with access to those documents later on if you so desire.

Sentencing someone to JAIL just because the person submitted a fraudulent bank statement shouldn't be the best move here. I think the 5 years ban is okay to make offenders realize their mistakes and to deter future intenders from following this path. It's quite unfortunate that the culprits have made things so so difficult which attributed to the high refusal rate for the genuine Nigerian applicants.... The worst aspect of it all, is that they know the consequences behind involving themselves into sharp practices(fraudulent statement) but they still go ahead and do same

Obviously the 5 year ban is not working. Even with lifetime ban our people nor still dey fear. The Nigerian government can take this up if they are ready to be honest. Throw some of them in jail and make it public. There will be drastic decline in fraud.

They gave you the study permit knowing you have a 15month old son so I don't believe they expect him to stay behind. Except you told them so. .

Please list the documents you submitted. Please confirm if you showed extra money than what you initially used to apply for your study permit. Also confirm if hubby is going with you.

The GCMS notes I see from this region of the world is lacking substance and is just a waste of money.

I am starting to feel that it is because we use a third party website to get it and that's why a lot of useful information is scrubbed. I don't buy that "they are overwhelmed with lots of applications" crappy story.

Hello house, so I thought I should update you all about my mum's application. After raising several CSE and emails to both London and Lagos Offices, and even VFS Lagos office, we got a reply about 2 weeks after the initial refusal from Lagos VO office that her application has been reopened and same day, her profile was updated and showed that Biometrics completed. Today, her application was approved andher passport was requested. Thanks to every other person that reached out.

Timeline:
Submitted online - June 11
Biometrics - June 13
1st Refusal - July 29
File reopened - Aug 9
Biometrics passed - August 9
Application approved/passport request - August 23

borvick: . l got a written letter signed by his dad giving consent to the trip with his younger sister. lm fully employed by Fed. Govt with a good salary, l have travelled to US and Uk and still have a valid US visa, l have Assets and also my statement as at the period of application was 2.8m with other cooperative letters, bank, and pensions statement. they refused based on family ties in Canada and home country, and personal assets and financial status ( I have other two girls here in Nigeria, l applied with one of them whos presently a 300L student, she had letter of introduction from her school and l provided her password on her school' site for their perusal). I submitted my employment letter, 4 promotion letters, pay slips, leave letter from my org, properties documents with my street naming approval, poultry business details as per time, letter of invitation from my son, his sch ID, Study permit approval, His Data page, Visas. I have different name with my son which has been there since l applied for his study visa. I don't know what exactly is the problem and how l can go about it.

Pls help a bittered mom.

Sorry about the refusal. I believe the solution is to apply alone. Both daughters can serve as your family tie. Your sister inlaw can also stay behind since her ties are not strong enough.
