Good evening, Allah bless us with a baby boy on Monday 18 July 2022 through CS, but the mothers breast hasn't been removing milk, just little drops , the baby isn't able to open eyes,
He's trying hard to open his eyes but no able, yesterday he open the two eyes clearly, since then they are close again..


Pls help us what can we do...

Congratulations and thank God for The life of the mother and child. Did your doctor state that there is an issue with your child's ability to open and close his eyes? If yes, let the doctor advice you accordingly....but I think you should give it some time. He is trying to adapt to a new world and eventually open his eyes when he wants to.
Pls encourage your wife to put him to breast often. It will help stimulate her nipples and propel the brain to tell her body that baby needs to eat hence producing more milk. Mother should stay hydrated and feed well too.

I was team November 2015 but put to bed in October. The labor was difficult but God came through for me.

Flash forward to 2017 and I took in, but that pregnancy came down and I was devastated.

I've been trying since then and got a BFP recently. Because of the last miscarriage, my doc told me to report to the hospital as soon as I take in again to get started on weekly progesterone injections and this I did.

However, I'm bleeding. The bleeding started lightly two weeks ago and I was placed on admission for a day, then discharged when the bleeding stopped.

It started again today as I was on my way to take the injection; this will be the fourth. I ran into the hospital as it started at the entrance and the doctor sent me for a scan.

Scan shows the baby is fine and I was grateful, only for me to go use the restroom afterward when I had a huge clotted discharge.

I ran back into the scan room for the photographer to repeat the scan and the result is the same. However, I'm wondering why the bleeding still.

I moved in with my mom and she does practically everything for me so I'm not stressed.

Has anyone gone through any similar experience? The anxiety of not knowing what exactly is wrong and therefore what to expect is killing me.

I'm terrified to go pee now cos I don't want clotted blood discharge. I'm a basket case of nerves right now.

Exodus 23:26 says There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. You are God's creation so your body must obey his word.

Pls contact your doctor immediately if you aren't in the hospital presently to advice you further medically. If it's cervical incompetence, a cerclage will help really fast and a catheter should stop you from getting up and moving so much to wee. Lay down on your bed and avoid movement of any kind for now and don't stop calling upon Jesus. Hold him with his word dear. It is well with you.

Even the other Mama's were surprised how I could hold the pain not knowing I was barely feeling the pain.
I have 2 hyperactive boys that kept me busy throughout the pregnancy so I guess I have them to thank for that.

Being active worked for me too...I made akamu, as In sieved plenty raw akamu the night labour started for my 2nd baby ,we got to the hospital by 2am by 4am baby was out,infact I almost gave birth on bare floor cos the nurses asked me to take a walk after they saw that I was not screaming at the top of my voice...lol

If this is the criteria for fast labour, I'm on track be that!
I have a toddler who is as hyper as two children join plus I'm planning to make akamu by weekend although my edd still far small....
No mind me and my wahala ooooo....but I will be so glad and grateful to God if my labour/ delivery would be fast like you guys. I suffered in my first delivery....was in labour for about 30hrs.

I believe she was just teasing him, if though she might still be shaking inwardly. I believe it depends on her kind of personality. Some people still find ways to yab you in near-death situations not because they mean it, but because they can't just help it and find it as their own way of coping mechanism.

My dear there is no teasing a man who almost lost his life ooo. He even went out of the way to put her first by asking her to walk ahead of him so she doesn't get hurt and that's the thanks he gets.

Okay. Then you guys should wait and visit on Thursday as directed. It's very possible for her to go into labour before then and if not, when you get to the hospital on Thursday, the doctor will further advice the next step. Encourage her to remove anxiety as it will only stress her. Small walks and squats can help prepare her and even for some people induce labour. She shouldn't be scared. Your baby will be in your arms sooner than you expect. She's on the right track. Also do as Shiller says.

Labor was so short... Baby boy came exactly on the first Edd scan gave me. Came to the hospital by 3.30. delivered 1hr later

Mamas in the house, please help out. My wife is coughing and vomiting frequently in her early pregnancy. What could be responsible? I thought that the frequent vomiting and coughing should have stopped by now..

First of all, Congratulations Sir.
Secondly, vomiting is a package that comes with pregnancy. Only few of us escape it. I know someone who vomited from the day pregnancy was confirmed till even after delivery...no jokes so pls bear with her. She can't tell it when to stop. It will stop when it wants to.

For the cough, you guys needs to find out if it's pregnancy induced or its cough on its own. Does she cough only during vomiting or she coughs occasionally without vomiting?

Pls don't get tired of her. I promise you, even she doesn't like the way she feels right now but has no choice cos it's a cross she must bear.

I just noticed another red flag sef. This man has 6 children and isn't taking care of anyone.....not a single one. Nawa ooo.

Both the sitting room and room has cross ventilation but we only opened one side of both windows in the room.... When I noticed the way she sweats, I dress her in onesies alone without singlets under but her socks and mittens are always on..
I apply jimpo ori on her body... I also don't know when I will stop sweating excessively, it started in pregnancy and tomorrow will be 8 weeks postpartum.. If not for my mum, I would have been dressing her with the way the weather is on me

Wear her a sock and singlet inside before wearing her the onesie. Avoid covering her with a blanket or flannel and you can do away with the mittens unless you have guests, then you can wear her to avoid direct contact with her hands.
Don't over coat her with the ori as it does make one sweat...

For you, try and dress down a bit and pls check your BP just to be sure you are good to go.
Plenty water does some magic too.

I don't know what to do with fan and my baby oo, she sweats a lot. Cover her small and she's sweating all over her body. Last night she was sweating all over despite the fan being on even though I reduced it... when she's on cap, she keeps displaying discomfort until it is removed.. we use two clothes before morning as I do change her when the one she wore to bed is wet (I dress her in onesies alone without covering her) .. I don't know what to do again, she's not up to 2 months but the sweating is too much

How's the weather in your area?
How's the ventilation in your house?
Keeping her under the fan isn't healthy at all shey you know? Cos it can expose her to cold directly.
How exactly do you dress her? Do you wear her something inside before the onesies or just onesies alone?
What do you apply on her body as her lotion? If whatever you are applying has too much oil in it, it can clog her pores and make her sweat.

I use Federal Staff Hospital Gwarimpa. Had my 1st baby there with ease(The Host of Angels were on guard that day and will be on guard this time around too cos the nurse that attended to me was an angel). I'm currently registered there for my 2nd. The nurses seem reasonable enough plus the place got renovated and expanded.
Last last, it depends on your location.

FMC Jabi is good too but they are always forming busy.
