Most graduate from public universities in Nigeria can't clear due to the strike embarked by the non teaching staff (SSANU, NASU & NAAT), . Scholarship are been denied, NYSC delayed, post graduate programmes affected, admission lost.. NYSC have released their time table. If nothing is done now most graduate of public universities in Nigeria can't be mobilized for Batch A.. We can't wait another 9 months for service.. There is a movement already on twitter to draw well meaning Nigerians and the public attention to the plight of Nigerian students and graduates. The hastag is #EndNasuStrike on twitter

What shamelessness displayed by the Tivs.

I missed the days of Gideon Orkar when Tivs produced reasonable leaders.

You can imagine a tribe like Tiv, the largest ethnic group in the middlebelt who are supposed to unite the middlebelt and chart the region for a viable course against the core north and give the region a greater national voice but have failed woefully. They are now tasting the reward of failure and foolishness.

As a fellow middlebelter, I gave up on Tivs in 2015 when I saw them massively supporting Buhari for presidency. Some of them even supported Buhari more aggressively than the Hausas.

May God save Idomas from the stupidity of the people they share the same state with.

God bless SW Muslims, I'm still in awe at how they managed to be sane.
SouthWest muslims are sane because they did not receive islam through jihad, rather through trade.

I have discovered that muslims who received Islam through trade and were never conquered by jihadists or practiced jihad, tend to be very peaceful and liberal. The ones causing trouble and bitterness everywhere are descendants of jihad.
Foreign AffairsRe: Muslims Flee Christian Militias In CAR by Nowenuse: 12:54am On Mar 01, 2018
Just imagine coptic christians who are a minority in Egypt try to overtake the country from the muslim majority.
As in ehn, Egyptian muslims will completely wipe out the coptics from the surface of the earth as not even one coptic christian child would be alive to tell the story.

If Egyptian muslims can still be bombing and killing the coptic Christian minorities who are 2nd class citizens in the country and have forever accepted their fate without ever dreaming to challenge the majority. Yet they are still being killed. How much more if they act like the way these Muslim minorities are acting in CAR?

But see how merciful the christian majority still are to the muslim minority in CAR. Still allowing them to live in certain parts of the country. Christians show too much weakness and compassion and that is why we are taken for granted too much.

I am a christian, but sometimes I believe this religion sucks! It made men so weak, soft and dumb!
Foreign AffairsRe: Muslims Flee Christian Militias In CAR by Nowenuse:

Fleeing Christian militia violence, 1500 mostly Muslim civilians are trapped in church in CAR

After fleeing for their lives, as many as 1500 people – mostly Muslim civilians – have sought sanctuary in a Catholic church in the southeast of the Central African Republic.

The people fled violent conflict in May and sought protection in the Catholic cathedral in the CAR town of Bangassou, according to Al Jazeera.

'The situation is not safe enough to leave, and so they cannot move from here...there are men who walk around town with guns,' said the church's priest, Father Alain Blaise Bissialo.

The mass-flight was provoked when the predominantly Christian 'anti-Balaka' militia began attacking the majority Muslim district of Tokoyo, in Bangassou on 13-17 May.

Many at first sought refuge in a local mosque, until the mosque too was attacked, and its imam killed.

In a rescue attempt, the Catholic bishop then sent transport trucks to Tokoyo, which brought as many civilians as possible to the cathedral.
Dumb catholic priests protecting evil jihadists.

They say that 'Every muslim is a jihadist by act or by heart'. I think I believe this.

Pastors who tried this during the Jos or Kaduna crisis were beaten to death by fellow christians. This is exactly what muslims do or would do to their fellow muslims if they catch them trying to hide christians in safety.

Sick people. You are minorities in a country, but you want to control the christian majority.

This was exactly how the muslims in Chad took power from the Christian Sara who are the largest tribe in the country and permanently silenced them till date. You won't even know there are christians existing in Chad anymore. The muslims have rendered them useless and slaves in that country.

Thank God for the christians of CAR who will not let that happen.

Should I say radical islam now or just Islam is the biggest threat to African unity and development.

Tanzania is not muslim majority. It is more of 50/50.

Nigeria (Hausa fulanis), Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Mauritania & Egypt are the countries in Africa with most muslim fanatics.

Why only Hausa fulanis? Are they the only muslims? Why not yoruba muslims, Kanuri muslims or Nupe muslims?

Pls don't tell me what i know, I know many of those villages where these Christians reside in northern Kaduna and they are not Hausa Fulani at all. Most of them in Kubau, Ikara etc are not Hausa Fulanis.
Ok, as for Kubau, I know you must be referring to the Kurama christians.
Kubau shares boundary with Lere LGA which was fraudulently zoned to northern Kaduna whereas it is geographically located in central kaduna and is dominated by Kurama and other tribes.
These same Kurama people stretch from that Kubau to the extreme south of Kano. They have many villages in Kano state and even extreme Plateau north (Bassa north). These people are not settlers in Kubau or Southern Kano. They are in their ancestral lands! Just that unfortunately their territories were divided into different administrative areas.

As for Ikara, I'm not sure. But one thing you must know is that, hardly or rarely will any Southern Kaduna person leave his village with abundant lands and go to another person's village to reside and farm.

Only administrative jobs and education usually takes a Southern Kaduna man from his homeland. They are not like Hausa fulani people who migrate to other people's territories like refugees and later start to claim that they are indigenes.

Another thing Is that, Christians wherever they are, they are very peaceful and law abiding. Whereas Muslim visitors in an area they are not indigenous to still display stubbornness and stupidity.

You do not understand the Igbo language and the different dialects it has and how they all relate.
A word in Asaba could mean something else in Ohafia or pronounced differently.
Figure one (1) is pronounced owvu in Awka dialect, ofu in Idemili Anambra dialect, ovu in Onitsha dialect and otu in some other dialects, the ones I know, there could be others.
You should understand that the Igbos didn't engage in much wars those days, they were republicans and mass migration to other regions was not like in Yorubaland where there was constant wars and mass migrations leading to a constant mixing of different dialects.
So Ovie in Agbor could have another meaning in Owerri or Awka and pronounced differently.
Hmm, HiddenShadow, Nonaira3. Are there Hausas/yorubas who really speak fluent Igbo, up to the extent of differentiating dialects? Cos, damn, this guy whom you guys claim is not Igbo, understands the language quite well.

Have you ever been to Kaduna state? Do you think it is only the Muslims that live in Christian dominated southern Kaduna? In case you don't know there are also Christians who are indigenes and residents of Muslim dominated northern Kaduna, you will find them in many of the villages and no one disturbs their peace.
Most of those christians in northern kaduna villages are Hausa fulani by tribe, but most of the muslims in Southern Kaduna towns are not indigenes. They are Hausa settlers and this is why they should relocate to their places of origin.

Oh , sure . Thanks . Besides the looks , do they also have the same cultural practices or beliefs?
Actually the ancestral cultures of fulanis and Hausas are completely different. Fulanis came from Senegal/Guinea axis around 200-300 years ago, while Hausas have been in Nigeria area for possibly over a thousand years.

The fulanis conquered the Hausas and settled among them, while the Hausas being a very large group culturally absorbed the fulanis in their midst. This bond was cemented with Islam... The British colonial masters radically promoted this bond to form the largest and most powerful group in Nigeria. They even used this bond to try to Hausanize/Hegemonize all the other northern groups like mine.... This is why Hausa language became widely used among 80 million or more people of different ethnic groups of northern Nigeria.

However, the fulanis who conquered and settled in the northeastern parts of Nigeria (Adamawa, Gombe) and Cameroon, largely retained their cultures because this area was filled with minority groups who could not absorb the fulanis unlike the Hausas of the northwest....

This is why only the fulanis of the north east are largely regarded as pure fulanis in Nigeria, these ones retain the ancestral cultures from Senegal/Guinea and even despise the Hausanized fulanis of the Northwest.

Also, the fulani nomadic herdsmen who are causing problem all over Nigeria are another quite distinct group too. These ones are largely somewhat pagan and I think retain the cultures far more than the former 2 groups who are heavily islamic.

It's quite a long history and story my dear.

However, one thing for sure. This so called Hausa-Fulani bond only exists in Nigeria... In Niger republic which is just next to us here, this doesn't exist. Hausas & fulanis over there are very distinct and independent of each other.
Infact, many Gambian, Senegalese & Guineen fulanis are usually confused when they hear of Hausa-fulani as one group in Nigeria. In their end of West Africa, it is nonsense to them and does not exist. They do not even know what Hausa sounds like or looks like. While over here in Nigeria, fulani language may soon go extinct to Hausa...
So many fulanis can no longer speak fulani but all fulanis can speak Hausa.

when u talk about kaduna south being Christian in majority,u should have also talk about platue north being Muslim in majority, that will balance the equation

let me educate u on ur ignorance..u can't be an indigene of kd south! kaduna is the state,so ur an indigene of kaduna state not kd south, and muslims r the majority in that state!

u also try to imply Christianity is the majority in the MB,u should know MB doesn't only consist of benue and Platue, but also kogi, kwara and Niger state with a Muslims majority

u probably thought u could write rubbish and get away with it undecided
Where did this one come from?

Can you mention the parts of Plateau north that are predominantly muslim? There are 6 LGAs in Plateau north, mention the ones that have muslim majority.

Apart from Jos north where muslims can claim like 35% of the population. No other place has a large muslim population in Plateau north, if there is, name it!

Kaduna state is one state, but Southern Kaduna people and Hausa fulanis are 2 completely distinct and unrelated groups of people.
I differentiate Southern Kaduna because it is a nation of it's own, with millions of people, capable of being it's own state.

And pls, where did you conduct a religious census to determine that Kaduna state is a muslim majority state? How did you arrive at your figures?

A state with 23 LGAs in which christians form majority in 11-12 of them, then you want to generalize the state as a muslim majority state? You neee help.

Here we are, the same victim mentality. They don't want to, they don't want to.

Even if the FG refuses to do these things, I see nothing that stops your state governors from making any efforts or at least coalescing with SS governors on these inland sea port projects. Some states are already working independently of the FG to build viable sea ports in their states.
Let us stop this terrible habit of excusing our state govts for their failures and diverting all the focus on the FG. Why was the state govt there in the first place?
During the 5 years of GEJ's tenure. Igbo people occupied the ministry of aviation. What stopped them from making the Enugu int Airport fully functional? And even now, what stops the current Enugu gov from doing anything about it?
International airports that state govts are building anyhow is what you guys are complaining about? You guys make me sick sometimes.

And just for your info, Australia and most gulf arabic nations are very multicultural..... Immigrants make up at least 25% of the Australian population, the last time I checked.
Let's not even go to these gulf arabic nations which are filled with very rich, spoilt and lazy indigenes who have immigrants doing almost everything for them. Immigrants outnumber natives in the UAE. I hope you know that?.... So, basically you have no point.

Jos city in Nigeria has no international airport nor seaport, but it is very much multicultural... What stops Aba, Onitsha, Enugu etc from being likewise?

* concluding part of my post

POST OFFER LETTER EVENTS
Following the receipt of the offer letter, I was made to write and submit a letter of loan acceptance, a letter of undertaking to pay interest during moratorium and a letter of attestation from my solicitors indicating that I understood everything I had signed and accented to. I was made to sign several copies of a 20 paged loan agreement and to resubmit forms to my guarantors to sign and submit and also swear affidavits in court. All of these we did and submitted before the 6th of November, 2017.
I then inquired to know how events were to proceed there from. I was told my four suppliers in Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Lagos will be verified, thereafter I will be required to pay the 10% deposit and then the suppliers will get letters of credit to supply. I raised the need for all these to happen before December, 31st 2017 as it would position my business advantageously in the market place and they gave me all the assurances that they will make that happen and asked me to go and try to raise the 10% security so I could pay once the account was opened in BOI MFB. I said even though that was going to be a problem as I had no prior knowledge, I was going to try and even borrow at interest if I had to but since that was meant to happen after they had finished verifying my suppliers, the onus was on BOI to do the verifications first, then I will be provided bank details into which to pay the 10% security. That was how we parted that 6th November, 2017.
All through December, 2017, I was in touch with my suppliers some of whom had done repeat business with BOI in the past but who expressed so much unwillingness to deal on BOI’s terms and it was so difficult for me to understand why anyone will so distrust a government agency that much. Now I know better. I was worried that throughout December, 2017, not a single one of my suppliers had been contacted nor verified and I kept contacting BOI’s office and reminding them of the lapsing timeframe but nothing I heard showed any commitment. At some point, I wondered if Bank of Industry was not a government ploy to get struggling and already disadvantaged entrepreneurs like me who provided their own road, electricity, water, etc to part with money they did not have in the guise of nonrefundable fees. Because it looked as if the bank’s interest and sole mandate was getting me to pay that Fifty Two Thousand Naira (N52, 000.00) non refundable fee which they had succeeded at and which was why nobody was doing anything anymore now that the money had been paid.
That was how 1 month, 2 months and 3 months elapsed with some of my suppliers still not contacted nor verified. Up until this moment, the bank has not felt the need to reach me about anything after all, I can’t sue the bank neither has the bank lost anything. If anything, it has gained my Fifty Two Thousand Naira (N52, 000.00) non refundable fee. The ultimate loser here is poor me and I can go to hell for all the bank cares. This is my experience with Nigeria’s Bank of Industry and I hope you take it into consideration when next you consider taking the government of Nigeria or any of her agencies serious.
Don't worry bro. God will replenish whatever it seems you must have lost in these procedures. It's so frustrating after spending all your time, efforts and hopes and it ends up like this.
Kudos for taking your time to share your experiences with us, at least, none of us will fall for this in the future after reading this.

I have had a previous experience like yours, albeit with a micro-finance bank. It was so terrible that these people wasted my 6 months of constantly transporting from their head to branch offices, providing all the necessary documents, providing guarantors etc, all to no avail. It was always from one story to another. At last, I just gave up on them.

I strongly believe we will get to the top one way or another and all these terrible experiences will be stories for us to tell our younger generations of how we overcame in spite of all the oppositions.
