Hahaha....u too wicked.
Hehehe. This one no be wicked matter. I admire the dude because he amuses me. He has a knack for being annoying and he knows it. I think he enjoys it as well.
I was going through the comments and enjoying the thread of discussion until I saw his post. For a very split second I was annoyed. Then almost immediately anger gave way to laughter as soon as I saw the moniker. Only Prelinctus can elicit such a flurry of emotions. Only him.
Another person could have said something like "please this thread is about NLNG. whistleblowing can be discussed on another thread. please lets stop derailing. thank u". Prelinctus? Nah. That's not his style. He goes in there like a bull and kicks up dust then leaves there like nothing happened. smiley
I just love the guy. Without him this thread will be less interesting for me.

I don't know how u do it dude, but u have a gift for being incredibly and beautifully annoying. And ur timing? Perfect!!! smiley
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by NPComplete: 1:00pm On Dec 09, 2015
Really guys? Are we still on this matter?

Anyone who supported GEJ's 5-year tenure, warts and all, and was willing to gift him another 4 years but aggressively vilifies this new administration just 7 months in cannot be reasoned with. So I won't even bother trying

But what now bothers me is that the argument seems to have plummeted from the lofty heights of reason and sound judgment with people now boasting about delegating duties to other people they barely know and those people countering by insisting that no revolution is possible within the present system and spouting one or two mouthfuls of their own. **sigh**
I guess I should leave u boys to it.

^^^correction AC was concluded late July.

This wait just reminds me of Schrödinger's cat. Right now everybody will be invited for medicals and everybody won't be invited for medicals. Until the mail drops and we truly know our fates.

Best of luck Saved2serve. Things are clearer now.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: NLNG Experienced Hire Result Is Out!! by NPComplete: 8:58am On Nov 12, 2015
^^Exactly.

A good way for Saved2Serve to start answering the question forkadict posed will be to tell us when he applied. I mean the year and probably the position. That will put things in perspective.

Obviously another needy juvenile. He is not getting enough love and attention in his life so he intends to acquire it by writing the same jejune post on every thread and posting a picture of himself and that car to go with it.

At least, they now have the anonymous popularity..
Everybody (including guests on Nairaland) know their names. I mean, Introvet and Lady-F..
At first, I thought they were robots.
With all due respect to the persons mentioned, that's being a popular nuisance. Better to be popular for ur ability to contribute meaningfully to a discussion, if it's popularity u seek. smiley
Most serious forums frown against such acts.

I've really been surprised how nairalanders don't know what makes pages flip on Nairaland.
Be advised that not everyone using nairaland are "nairalanders"; some people only care about a specific thread like this one. Most regular users know. They just don't care about such things. I mean what good has being FTC or flipping over pages brought anyone except for the ephemeral euphoria of doing something that is in all essence meaningless?

Anybody that says it is easier to be unemployed while waiting should just resign from their jobs, and join the easier team.

The truth is that suffering is sometimes a forgeettable emotion. 2 years into NLNG, there is a risk we will forget how much grief this is causing.
2 years? More like 2 weeks. smiley

Hmmm.
Ok lemme recommend we all practice yoga and meditation this morning. Take some deep breaths and focus on whatever will grant u some measure of inner peace as the wait continues.
Those who are getting increasingly angered by the wait should try to regain their composure. And those who are getting increasingly fearful that the angry guys could jeopardize their chances should try to get a little more grit.
Have a great day ahead guys.

Let's not lose our heads guys. Although it's understandable considering various plans that are being impeded because of this recruitment. I keep saying it, I am expecting the mails to drop by November, not later.

Stay classy Prelinctus, stay classy. Now everyone who didn't know what the issue was about has will now know. You have succeeded in protracting the issue. I hope u feel very good about urself now. SMH
Tk4rd save ur breath, some people lack empathy and would not even seek to understand a person before trying to prove a point.
Airsaylongcon, ur compulsion to explain urself is not helping either. It is only further contributing to the whole brouhaha.
Let's all forget about this issue and move on. I expect certain people to modify their posts. Lets just call it a day. Hopefully we will all be wiser tomorrow than we are today and show better judgement.
Cheers.

Wrong. More than 50% could mean 60% or 70%. So in the end less than 70 could be called.
This is sad and disheartening.
LOL. U will have to agree that you not even being sure about the exact number is a bit more optimistic than the quantifiable "less than 90 candidates". The slim chance that it may be higher than 90 makes it so.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by NPComplete: 7:24am On Oct 14, 2015
cashme28:
As sad and disheartening as this may sound, it would be pertinent to state some realities on ground at the moment.

More than 50% of the candidates that did this AC failed the exercise.

More than 50% of those who passed the AC might still not get the job.

NB:- Failed in this context means that one did not get up to the required pass mark set for the AC.
So in essence, u are saying that about 75%, which computes to 450, of the almost 600 candidates that participated in the AC may not make it. Consequently, this implies about 150 candidates may be successful.
To me this doesnt induce sadness. It is even a tad more optimistic than the "less than 90 candidates" that has been bandied around on this thread in recent times.

If medicals are to commence in Nov then I think we will have to chill till the end of the month for AC results.
Nobody gives u a 3 week notice for medicals; else boys will stay sober so as to have good results. IMO.
Father let your will be done.
lol. If that is a criteria then boys have probably started staying sober since after the AC. Some boys have been drinking nothing other than water and anointing oil since July smiley

Exactly. His premise is flawed. He is assuming the company committed the same amount of resources into this recruitment as they could muster during the last recruitment exercise; not more. And that the bottlenecks or problems encountered 7 years ago are extant.
All things being equal, we should expect feedback by November. Not later.

Calling her name wasn't necessary bro.
Dude he is hitting on her. If u look beyond the overly playful missive and the not-so-subtle reference to her (probable) unemployment, u can tell he is actually serious. He had to include the name so that no other person got confused. I am just curious to see how the object of his amorous intentions will receive the message.
Will she just blush?
Or will she go feminazi on his hindquarters?

Even if it's just 20 of the almost a thousand who are completing their masters this September, we are boxed into no plans. It's crazy for those of us. No school, No jobs at the moment, can't plan for long engagements; even interviewing for other jobs I'm appropriating NLNG values upon them. Just do this thing and get it over with.
If you're ordering the fine china to be in the Bonny apartments or organizing armored vehicles for ferrying us through PH city, that's secondary. Just send mail, Mr lagbaja sorry better luck, Miss lakasegbe congrats, wait for further info, shikena. This has been on since October 2013. I've been prepping for interviews since then.
Please, just finish this thing.
