I taught in d core North a few number of years, I have counselled these girls several times, at SS1, SS2 and SS3 they come to my table with indepth heartfelt tears telling me they are about to get married. Schooling terminated. Then I attend the marriage only to see and old man who is already married to 3 wives. One even begged me to smuggle her to the south wen I was about living there. They get married and stop coming out of their houses. Indoors 24 hours unless on very special occasion

I was on my way to uni. First year and alone. I got to the entrance of the train station and I wanted to cry. I was hauling three big suitcases, it is one of the biggest train stations, and all I saw was staircases and I had a train to catch in less than 10 mins.

Two young guys with full body tats around mid 20s, appeared from nowhere and grabbed the biggest two, helped right to the platform for my ttrain.

It is one of the reasons I travel light and smart now.
