folawalesegun:SR20 Should be 5w30 I am guessing your primera is between 98-02 |
apcdoncastnaija:Every car engine has a specific spark plug number you are supposed to buy. When you buy original plug not meant for your engine then you will still have issues, sparkplugs is not synonymous to "All sizes fit" To know your recommended sparkplugs Most Toyotas and some brands have the specific type when you open the bonnet it would be clearly written on a parchment iridium, chromium etc with the type twin tip, copper plated etc. You can also remove one of the plugs and read the inscription on it, the replacement should be exact example NGK iridium spark plug k45612 Next is information available from the manufacturer and forums these information are available in owners manual, manufacturer website or specific brand forums which can also give details of other brands of sparkplugs that are alternative to the recommended one cc microbox |
thebigkendo:They did seems Ford is a prostitute in the car industry they share UpTo 60% parts, steering, suspension, brake system, electricals and some other stuff though it is the European Ford focus which should be the Ford Mondeo or so.Though Volvo owners have vowed never to utilize Mazda parts siting issues of reliability but engineers have hinted that Volvo underpinning parts are actually stamped FoMoCo |
Rubbiish:Both vehicles fair well in the area of comparison. Easier to maintain is subjective as both have identical engine power plant so oil change and filter is likely. The only part here is the corolla would have more failed parts as the mileage will be close to X2 that of the civic. I would pick a civic bought brand-new in Nigeria because it would certainly have low original mileage. Nigeria isn't as big as US what I would watch out for is maintenance and present engine condition. The civic comes with factory fitted alloy rim while the corolla is steel rim. interior wise the civic has an edge with digital dial and well illuminated dash though the center position of things can be a bit odd. ground clearance I give it to the corolla. suspension parts I give it to the civic solid engine too. if both cars were presented to me in good condition the best choice will be the civic if I don't mind resale value as topmost of my priority. |
Rubbiish:The information are online sir if you know where to look. Also information stored in the brain are fixed and can be accessed years after acquiring them |
Chechem:I guess you talking about the second generation, it's a fine car and shares some mechanical parts with Mazda 3 and Ford focus. though if you can avoid the 04, start your search from 05 and above |
GAZZUZZ:customs no dey chase that one, he go humble them ![]() |
Logobenz:so you agree you are reckless, you have started taking my advice after all you see why Yorubas say elder no go dey ground make young ones go astray. Its all a joke bro I don't fight people online or offline I am too old for that, I didn't force you to reveal your age nor your marital status you did that at your own free will because you trust me so I will continue to be a big brother, call me anytime you need unbiased advice I have plenty in the vault for yah ![]() |
HeavenlyBang:I no dey fight am, he just dey para for unknown reasons. you see me insult am ni. Try to call him and find out what is going on with him we love him |
GazzuzzAutos:This one is a learner, this same design has one fitted with 4 tyres at the rear, it could either be a Passat or Volvo 740, the day I went to badagry where I slow down with a Lincoln navigator this guy zoom pass it. |
Logobenz:but what's with all the insults and curses, at least if you dont respect my moniker, respect it's age nah. A well brought up individual should never make attempt to insult and curse people on a faceless forum it is not good for your chi. Now logobenz seems you are on your monthly period of burukutu dosage cause you weren't this aggressive last week, just sit down first, take 3 deep breathes and say "I shall overcome" 3 times, drink water and you will be fine. Doctor's orders please |

Chechem:There is not much of anything to compare both will serve you. But the only thing there is if you wish/prefer/like/enjoy to be different pick the Volvo but let it be the wagon V40 the saloon is ugly. Every other thing just jejely buy your Corolla |

Menance:depends on cost cutting tires and rims fitted under the trunk are exposed to environmental weather and elements which can degrade it since it's in the open it is cheaper that way than say one fitted inside the car with a special holding or those fitted at rear of the car for aesthetics. some like the rear fitted ones found in Honda CR-V others like it hidden in the car in a special column made for it, while someone like me won't mind the exposed under trunk type makes extra space available for luggage and what's more easier to loosen the tire without offloading luggage when need arises |

Rubbiish:Not much though I know the 06 and 07 have a gear to lock and unlock mechanism, move the gear to D locks the doors automatically move it to P and use Hans brake unlocks all doors automatically. |
Menance:yes but they are very limited now most utilize something close to AWD which is an intelligent system that activates the needed wheels when it senses slippage, others uses buttons or switches no more auxiliary gear. |
CityNGR:No be the same nairaland me and you dey wey W203 lost its transmission in the bush when 2GR disgrace am, car and driver head North, engine North East while transmission experience magnetic field loss till now we no whether nah N-E-S-W him dey. 2GR-FE disgracing Benz since 2007 ![]() |
Pidginwhisper:That is a factory defect of the casing material from HP hp630 and 650 were affected. my sister's own is worse like the laptop has eczema but it is a strong lappy his price though is outrageous |
Chuksworld:The reason it is not common is competition and stereotype. It has competition from earlier models in pricing and other brands from both the maker and other makers. Stereotype is that it is a female car, more males stay away from it and a greater % of females have to wait till their husband buy for them. (please it doesn't mean females can't work and buy their own car ooo) |
greenhulk:so are you telling me 4WD too won't get stuck in that same sand, in my secondary school days, a 4wd Prado got stuck in mud, we had to give it a little push out to assist it. AWD depending on what type (full-time or part-time) also sends power to other wheels when they require it, the major difference i see there is AWD is an intelligent system while 4WD is more like a manual one. I agree with you that AWD is a waste in Nigeria you have little or no use for it here. But if that's what within your grasp to buy, then I see no reason not to |
Ifebazz:You have problems in the brake section the best advice is to look for a qualified technician to inspect it. |
deathwing:yes the AWD parts would be different from RWD or FWD in the wheels/leg section am talking about shocks, transfer case etc. As for the parts been rare I don't know about that never used one b4 personally. cc Denn |
Rubbiish:in terms of suspension part, engine and fuel economy, the corolla is better, stronger as used by you i think is not right because the cars aren't used for fighting ![]() |
greenhulk:It does, if you transverse Lagos Ibadan expressway regularly then you will know there are some shortcuts of mud road you don't want to take your FWD else you sink. I have watched the comparison between a fwd vehicle and the AWD variant of same vehicle and I know the advantage. what I am saying in essence is because naija doesn't experience snow AWD may not be an immediate need in vehicles |
Joehigashi:What type of scanner did you use? I hope it's not those Bluetooth variant. You can check the profiles of the gurus and lift their numbers from there, call them one by one if they can send a representative to diagnose the car and ensure you tell them you will pay for such services that can boost their morale to show face. |
