Thanks for d explanation sir
Most corollas are stolen during when parked, reason i am considering it. But seems mechanics that specialize in doing it are very scarce.
Buy steering and pedal lock, then install keyless alarm so when the car is touched it blows the alarm, down side to alarm is when thunder strike, cats crawl over etc it also responds, if you live in same vicinity with your landlord he may give you quit notice for noise pollution grin
Car TalkRe: Unbelievable Car Crash, Venza And Camry by nurey(m): 10:59pm On May 16, 2019
The Venza is an accidented car, during its fixing a lot of filler was used in the front area this made the front extremely extra strong, that bonnet Should hit a human at 15km you did get a broken bone.

The Camry isn't fitted with plastic Chinese parts but the original part, the Camry rear was built to absorb force (crumble zone) to avoid injury to cabin area.

The Camry wasn't parked but at a stop the venza came at it with brake depressed so it actually hit the Camry like a bull would hit its target, the Camry is a short wheel base of the Venza so the rear has no definite protective chassis which could have dealt a blow to the venza.

The collision that happened is called inelastic collision but in this scenario the Venza transferred energy to the camry while the camry acted as a cushion because at the initial collision, the driver let go of the brake which could have been an external force dealt back to the Venza.

why the Venza sustained no damage to the bumper also is due to its design, the bumpers are held by retractable plastic clips.

Please can someone explain if there is any major difference between 03 & 05 corolla? Heard the 05 comes with an immobilizer, will this reduce theft?
cc nurey heavenlybang at el
immobilizer does not make the car immobile when the cold metallic barrel of a COLT 45 or the shinning wood trim of an AK47 is displayed by men of the under world. Probably it can help against those vandals Sha.

One of my brother in law's has a special immobilizer on his corolla that once you open the door when car is on or not it would activate, so if you drive for some distance engine would switch off then you have to press some special key combinations for it to come on same with when parked b4 u start it you have to press a socket combo. unfortunately the person who did it then doesn't know what it's called and the mechanic who did it too is no where to be found

Taiwan drives in the same way as Nigeria. Right hand drive with Driver left.

Why do always refer it as big for nothing. The car is good na
The rear of your pix doesn't look like the prestige version of this Camry. Ensure the car isn't accidented Sha cause the rear looks fishy

The side too has an emblem by the door side which your pix doesn't have

Car TalkRe: Lexus Es330 2006 Or Toyota Corolla 2008 by nurey(m): 6:45am On May 15, 2019
Me4bas:
Hello Everyone,
Hope you all having a fruitful week. Please I need your advice on this. I need a personal car for myself. Something different but with good fuel economy and easy to maintain. Both cars are about same price. The corolla goes for 1.9m and the Es goes for 2m.

Which should I get? Thanks
Both cars are too distinct for you to be confused but Lexus is a V6 and a luxurious car fuel economy wise and maintenance would be higher than the corolla.

The corolla is a point a to b car highly fuel efficient and cheap to maintain if well taken care of.

Please house, what's your say on 2008 Scion xD? Thanks...
It shares platform with Toyota yaris, more like a 5 door yaris variant.

1.8L engine though the fuel economy is what baffles me, I was expecting something yaris style grin 8.7L/100km city 7.1 highway. Also the HP 128 haba for that model year seems low for a 1.8L engine.

It's a Toyota Sha, reliability is not questionable.

Because they know Nissan is better than Benz so they troop into Benz thread to rub it on Benz fan faces. Benz eating Nissan Sh1t day and night grin

Boss, among all these, which ones are more fuel efficient?
Also Carina E is not among your list!
Carina E and that Avensis are same thing UpTo 90% so if you tell me you are buying carina I take it you know it's same thing as that year Avensis.

Fuel economy are so identical it's Negligible as all vehicles have 4cylinder version. Though the Passat and Volvo 4cylinder may be different because they are in a higher class than the rest and they are top heavy.

Car TalkRe: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by nurey(m): 9:39am On May 13, 2019
Ifebazz:
Yes I understand. Some cars run on 'gas'. Some diesel. I just want to know if they can be interchangeable. Thanks.
petrol engines can be converted to use both petrol and gas (CNG OR LNG) at the same time so the vehicle can either use petrol and then switch to gas when the petrol has finished.

I think same principle can be done for diesel too because dangote trucks are diesel engine stock and they were converted to use gas I am not too sure whether diesel engines can use both since diesel isn't combustion ignition rather is uses compression.

Thanks guys.
Cc: what do you think?
Eggs, bread, cakes, displaying used cloths and shoes, light weight hauling, the Toyota is ok.

planks, iron fence, roofing sheets, tiles, bags of rice, packs of soft drinks medium to heavy weight haulage

Nissan primera P11 wagon, Mazda wagon, Volvo 740 series, Passat wagon B4 this ones can be modified at the rear to withstand heavy cargo, some came with rear axle for that cargo capacity from factory.

Please, Is there really a significant difference between Lexus es 350 2007 vs 2008 model?
same thing but always advice able to not pick the first production year run of a vehicle so I would say settle for a 2008

I really don't get the idiom sir. In simple terms please. Thanks boss.
Gasoline is another word for petrol which is another word for premium motor spirit (PMS) which is a form of fuel. so his idom means 12 is same as a dozen

Evening great minds...

Pls help with a comparison BTW Camry 2008 and Corolla me 2013..

I am using a Camry 2008 ... And am enjoying it, no issues... But I have a deal for a corolla me 2013...

And am really considering the switch.... Is it worth it, or should I continue on my safe part with my Camry 2008

Thanks

Pls assist as I have give an answer by morning....
pros

corolla is more recent, better fuel economy, more refined design, lighter means less suspension failure, corolla is synonymous with good resale value and not yet favored by robbers and vandals.

The cons are

Cost of parts due to its scarse nature, more expensive parts replacement if something breaks, the devil you know is better than an angel you don't so ensure you do all the checks needed to confirm state of the car. Also customs can be on your matter so ensure the papers are genuine.

Car TalkRe: Is Dyna Van Really Profitable by nurey(m): 7:39am On May 10, 2019
manijoli:
please I will like your advice on this. I have dyna 150 which is also rated 150 as capacity, carrying of pure water which comes more kills the van while carrying of steel and wood doesn't come on a regular.

please what can I do with the dyna van to be more profitable thanks.
Dyna 150 is a 1.5tons capacity, I am guessing yours has 2tyres at the rear as this is the smallest of the Dyna series.

If you want to make it stronger to around 2.5 to 3tons capacity you just add more leaf suspension and then change the rear rims to double meaning 4tyres at the rear.

for the wood, charcoal, garri, water melon etc you have to look to the villages in Ogun state or Ibadan or you pitch your tent at Lagos markets where market women can ask for your services to their destination.

the major thing is that you go join union for Lagos but Ibadan and Ogun you just need someone to point you in the right direction

You did not even attend to the op concern. You just blow grammar and wrote an essay that does not provide the information the op needed
A new spark plug is around 3k for original a piece while used is 1k a piece the difference makes no sense to buy used to me also sparkplugs have a time service life

I can't answer the question of buying used or new it is left for the owner to decide which is more economic friendly to them.

Oga this is not what the OP asked, OKAY AFTER ALL THIS, SHOULF HE BUY THE NEW OR TOKUNBO
Sparkplugs should be bought new not tokunbo, it degrades overtime so a used can fail in a week or months which you can't determine.

new all the way but the recommended new plugs not just any new plug
