lightblazingnow: ON WHOSE PAY ROLL?
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH BITTERNESS AND HATRED AMONG PASTORS?
These days, it seems the greatest enemy of a Pastor is a fellow Pastor.
It is almost becoming impossible for you to Sincerely relate with a fellow Pastor without offending another Pastor.
Sometime ago, A Nigerian Pastor invested so much in his Dubai Crusade, with thousands of People gathered from all over the world.
Just because SOME PASTORS FELT HE DID NOT COME IN THROUGH THEM, THEY FRUSTRATED THE PROCESS OF GRANTING HIM AN APPROVAL TO HOLD THE CRUSADE IN DUBAI.
The Crusade was cancelled and millions of Dollars wasted. Everyone who came traveled back to their countries without enjoying the benefits of time and resources Spent to get there.......Oooh Lord help us.
"PASTORS AGAINST PASTORS."
Don't be shocked to know that CAMA is a product of some Pastors who want to take vengeance on some Pastors. They are Blinded by hatred, bitterness and envy not knowing the long term effect of their so called plan to regulate churches that are not in their camp and run their leaders out of ministry.
From the servant pastor I highligted two aspects of your post. Dubai is a muslim country and it must taken those pastors years of prayers and toiling to open the country for crusades. Therefore, it is good to inform them ahead of time if you are coming for a programme. Wisdom is profitable to direct says the bible. As for CAMA, kindly state the bad aspects of the Act for proper discussion. |

I wish that preachers stick to the bible and leave technical areas to people who are experts in the field. Just know that there are people who can protest and push any agenda on earth. That is why we have vegetarians who believe and offer scientific evidence that eating meat or fish is wrong. Any research you do on internet is secondary research until you conduct a primary research by yourself and then offer authoritative report. |

She even show us the map of how they should lay the network The woman doesnt know what 5G is all about. To deploy 5G in Nigeria, NCC need to auction the licences and allocate spectrum. No auction has taken place. We have not perfected 3 & 4 G. They dont need to lay cables to switch to 5G. The cables you see them laying are for expansion of broadband internet services across Nigeria by various service providers. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo Approves N650 Million To Repair Roads by nwakaibe(m): 12:33pm On Oct 24, 2019 |
jesusjnr: Nice one from Oyedepo, however he still has a long way to go, considering the amount involved here (N.65 Billion) in comparison with that of the aircraft he recently purchased (N2.5 billion) amongst others, for it's only when he starts getting to the point where that riches he accumulates begin to pale in comparison to that which he distributes, that he would know that he has gotten somewhere.
Also very importantly he has to stop mocking the poor and needy and also discouraging people from helping them, for that was the basis of his heresy concerning Job not tithing, for since Job was the known as the father of the poor, being a well known mocker of the poor that he is, he wanted to by all means give people the idea that just giving to the poor and needy alone would not make God rebuke the devourer for one's sake.
And I don't think God would have been happy with that for God doesn't use the poor and needy to play, so no true friend of God is an enemy of the poor, and I believe that Job attitude towards the poor was one thing which set him apart in the sight of God, and hence one of the reasons God proudly showcased him to the devil. This guy needs serious help. He sees himself as the standard and barometer to measure Christians I think you need help since you have become the standard and barometer of measuring and scoring christians
So obviously that's a leaf that Oyedepo can take from Job's life for him to be able to command the same kind of respect from God.
For that is also in accordance with the teachings of Jesus and the example which His disciples had followed when the church first began, which is riches by distribution not by accumulation:
Acts 4:32, 34-35 (KJV)
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
So until Oyedepo's church gets to this point where none of his members have lack, he should not see himself as a rich man.
God bless. |

FROM THE ARCHIVES: CHINUA ACHEBE'S LETTER TO OBASANJO (2004)
My Dear President Obasanjo,
I write this letter with a very heavy heart. For some time now I have watched events in Nigeria with alarm and dismay. I have watched particularly the chaos in my own state of Anambra where a small clique of renegades, openly boasting its connections in high places, seems determined to turn my homeland into a bankrupt and lawless fiefdom. I am appalled by the brazenness of this clique and the silence, if not connivance, of the Presidency.
Forty three years ago, at the first anniversary of Nigeria’s independence I was given the first Nigerian National Trophy for Literature. In 1979, I received two further honors – the Nigerian National Order of Merit and the Order of the Federal Republic – and in 1999 the first National Creativity Award.
I accepted all these honors fully aware that Nigeria was not perfect; but I had a strong belief that we would outgrow our shortcomings under leaders committed to uniting our diverse peoples.
Nigeria’s condition today under your watch is, however, too dangerous for silence. I must register my disappointment and protest by declining to accept the high honor awarded me in the 2004 Honors List.
Yours faithfully,
Chinua Achebe Annandale-on-Hudson, New York
