More like claims of charity. It is only on NL I read about so called charitable acts of their so called innercity mission. If they are truely making any impact we should have heard a lot more about it from independent sources by now.

Daystar repaired schools, mfm repaired schools, fountain established a hospital for the poor. Christ Embassy during reach out Nigeria donated classroom blocks, books, vehicles for the police etc. In anambra, they gave internet enabled pcs to all the police formations. A sister needed surgery and is a member of charismatic, we needed money, women fellowship of Daystar gave us N100,000. These churches are trying for the poor and the society. sirjohn, His daughters are not hidden from the public. They stay in the UK. I have seen the two girls during programmes here in Nigeria. Hope you are having a nice time? Meanwhile, any report on the recent atmosphere for miracles?

grin grin grin grin. You should have tried the inner city mission. There's is parking space there. And the compound connects to. LCA

uche13:

The alternative is to leave your house VERY early, ippc is just once a year and if you plan well, you can make it. People travel all over the world to attend so we in lag are at a very large advantage. BTW, congratulate me because zone 2 carried the day, there is really room for overtakig as Pastor always say. Sunday session was a blast and i loved when pastor prayed and said "May you reach that point in your life where God can really be lord in your life and the most important personality" what a prayer!!!. Lord in deed and not in words.

InnerCity ke? I packed there last year and going out was something else. I went thru the connecting road to Healing School. cool cool cool. Cant forget the driving that night

I am from Zone Two, two much cool cool cool cool. Thank God for the giant strides we making for His Glory. cool cool

The connecting road from Kudirat Abiola road where Oceanic Bank office is situated was almost filled when i drove past. Religion / Re: Falling Under The Anointing by nwakaibe(m): 4:26pm On Nov 25, 2010
Joagbaje:

The camera men didn't come for a healing. If they need one. They have their insider way of being ministered to. They are
Part of the team to ministered to others. It's not about the holy spirit being partial. Why don't you ask why the pastor didn't fall? . He is there for the people. Even if for any reason he has a challenge and needs a miracle. His faith at that time is for others. God wont force a manifestation that you don't have faith for. So the camera man is not out to receive , he is out to record and that's where his faith is.

Bros, I have to disagree with you on this.Camera men also fall under the anointing. Even the ministering pastor at times fall. Watch Papa Hagin in 'when the Spirit gets moving'. Even papa Hagin couldn't stand the anointing. The lead singer couldn't stand. His son Hagin Jr couldn't stand it also.
Pastor Chris in one of new year services asked the camera men to focus on him, leave the camera and go out of the way. So we need to examine a wide sample space before drawing conclusions.

When I saw the number of cars packed all over the massive LCA carpark shocked shocked shocked shocked and the adjoining roads and the nightmare of extricating myself, I drove home. embarassed embarassed embarassed.

OLAADEGBU:

Is it a coincidence that those of you saying that our brothers and sisters sit separately are members or ex members of Jo's church? Unless we have members of the DLBC who can confirm these allegations I would insist that there was no time that there was rule separating the sexes in their sitting arrangments as they do have in places like the CCC.

My brother, go and find out from older members of DLBC. I am not against bros and siss seated separately. But let the truth be told. Any time "our church" is mentioned, we fly in blind defense. The same thing we accuse others of doing. DLBC used to seat male and female on different sides of thechurch. I attended the one in my village, the one in kebbi state and the one in calabar.I have eyes and know the difference between male and female. So inquire from older members who were there in the 80's and 90's.

JeSoul:

^ For the last time, please no more posts on this seating wahala, the point has been made. Please open a new topic if you want to continue discussing it.

sorry sir,I no go commit the sin of discussing seating arrangement here again. wink winkI repent

@nwakaibe and friendsSounds more like some of you didn't want the system to change. Keep shut and let's hear the 'interview' abeg. They 'did' it, you complained, they're not doing it, you're still on their neck. OLAADEGBU dey bite you? Instead of you to learn from them and grow, you'd rather defend your traditions forever and eisegise more scriptures to gum your practises. Wetin?

angry angry angry angry angry why the sharp rebuke? I stated what was the practice in the 80's and 90's and somebody is disputing. Even in the campus then, a couple of deeper life guys were my friends. In the campus, during service, sisters and brothers sat on different sides. I am not against the change. But insisting that it used to be the practice those days.
Religion / Re: Interview With Joagbaje - His Perspective On Christianity by nwakaibe(m): 6:04pm On Nov 18, 2010
@OLAADEGBU
While in secondary school in 80's, Deeper Life opened in my village. Men and women sat on different sides of the church. I attended one of the December retreats of Deeper Life in Calabar, brothers and sisters sat differently. but I was surprised on watching the deeper channel (satellite tv) and seeing male and female seated together. So there is no mix up. So of us didn't know when the system changed.
