https://www.nigeriannewspapers.today/news/she-denied-me-sx-made-her-brother-sleep-between-us-on-our-wedding-night-%e2%80%94husband-tribune-2295853.aspx “I never told my wife I’m impotent or that my libido is low, I, therefore can’t explain why she has constantly denied me s*x since we got married two months ago. “I was stupefied when she insisted on our wedding night that her brother must sleep between us. It was as if I was watching a film. “My lord, I pray this court to separate us since she has refused to perform her conjugal rite. I also want a refund of the N80,000 I expended on our traditional wedding as dowry and the purchase of some other items I bought for her and her family.” Saheed Nureni stated this before Oja Oba/Mapo Court C Customary Court, Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State, where he brought a suit against his wife, Barakat Taiwo. Saheed, in his suit alleged that Barakat had consistently refused him s*x since they got married two months ago. He thus prayed for the dissolution of their marriage and a refund of the N80, 000 he spent during their traditional wedding. ”My lord, I met my wife through an intermediary. When we started courting, I dotted and lavished money on her, but any time I asked her for s*x she would refuse me and ask me to wait till we were married. “I held her in high esteem and held the opinion that she was virtuous. “We chose a date for our wedding and a list of items expected from my family for our traditional wedding was handed over to my mother through me. “All they demanded for summed up to N80, 000 including clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry which I bought for my wife. “We gladly provided all these. To me, the N80,000 was money well spent because I was convinced she’s a wife material. But the scales fell from my eyes shortly after we got married. “I couldn’t wait to have the wedding ceremony over and seal it with rounds of s*x with my wife that night. But I ended up being disappointed and devastated. “What I first noticed that night was that my wife suddenly turned cold towards me; she displayed no emotions or affection. I assumed she was shy since it was expected that we made love on our first night. “My mother was around and she slept in our sitting room while her teenage brother also came home with us after the ceremony. “When it was time to go to bed, to my surprise, he asked her brother to sleep between us. “I was stunned and queried such a decision. When I realised we were both talking at the top of our voices and would likely wake neighbours up, I decided she had her way for peace to reign. “I went to bed angry. When it was far into the night, I woke his brother up and pushed him out of the room. I told him to go and sleep in the sitting room. “My wife denied me s*x that night and every other time I demanded for it. I reported her to our intermediary who spoke with her parents. “They told her my wife belonged to a spiritual group and that some amount of money must be given to the group and a rite carried out before I could have my way with her. “But Barakat vowed never to sleep with me no matter what step I took and added that she was ready to leave my house. “My lord, Barakat and her parents are fraudsters and have successfully played on my ignorance. They want to eat their cake and have it. “I’ve come to end our marriage and have all I spent on her as dowry and other expenses during our wedding returned to me,” he concluded. “I agree to divorce, “Barakat told the court. “My husband is a liar. He has a large appetite for s*x and he’s always demanding for it like food. “We were the only one in the room on our wedding night. We made love throughout the night and he left me fagged out. My brother slept in the sitting room. “We started having s*x right from the time we were courting. There were times I took my brother along with me when on visitation to his place. We would sometimes ask him to excuse us when we want to make love. My brother is here in court and can testify to this.” The court president, Chief Ademola Odunola, requested that the brother come out to give his testimony. The teenage brother, Morufu Taiwo, testifying stated thus: ”I sometimes go with my elder sister, Barakat ,to her husband’s place while they were courting. “On many occasions, he would buy me bread and soft drink and ask me to go and eat it in his shop which is close by. He and my sister would then lock the door behind them and would be in the room for hours. “And when they finally came out they would both be sweating. “It is true I slept between my sister and her husband on their wedding night, but her husband later woke me up and asked me to sleep on the chair in the room. “Though it was dark, the window was opened and rays of light were coming in which made it possible for me to see what both of them were doing. “They started by kissing each other and later made love, sleeping with each other,” he said. Saheed’s mother was in court as well as Barakat’s parents. Both parties spoke in support of their children. After he had listened to all parties, Odunade adjourned the case till August 23 and ordered that Barakat’s parents come to court with a refund of N50,000. If you were born before the year 2000 you must have surely grown up hearing about the legendary match between Nigeria and India. That match was so notoriously popular that it did not matter where you lived in Nigeria you heard the tale from one of senior cousins, uncles or even parents. Lagos, Kano, Delta, Osun, Imo, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Kebbi, wherever you were in Nigeria, you must have heard about the match. However it must be noted that the match never happened and whatever the version of the story you heard, here are five things the previous generation agreed on about the match; Virtually everybody born before the invention of the internet must have heard the tale of a nonexistent football match between Nigeria and India that obviously took place in a parallel universe and somehow we got to hear the gory stories of that match. 1. This legendary match ended India 99 - 1 Nigeria 2. Nigerians where unable to kick the ball because the football kept turning to a lion, dragon (or something scary) to prevent them from playing the soccer ball. 3. The Indians later agreed that if Nigeria could score a goal, they would concede defeat. 4. Samuel Okwaraji scored the winning goal and lost his life in the process. 5. FIFA banned India from soccer because they used black magic in that very game. However what people do not know is Nigeria has never played India in an international match and Sam Okwaraji died in a match an AFCON qualifier against Angola. India were never banned from using black magic from playing football also and they were not allowed to qualify for a World Cup rather they have not yet qualified. https://sports.naij.com/amp/1084472-5-facts-legendary-nigeria-india-match.html |

http://www.informationng.com/2017/07/496515.html/amp A Nigerian man on Instagram, @vanladi, has expressed his grievance after he was allegedly beaten up for speaking up after confronting a Nigerian governor. According to him, his flight from Jalingo to Abuja was delayed for 6 hours because the governor of the state was to join them on the trip. The airline was said to have told them they would be delayed for 30 minutes but it took six hour before they embarked on the journey. When the governor showed up, the young man allegedly walked to the governor and said: “Sir, I am a law abiding and tax paying citizen just like the other people on the plane whom you delayed from 1pm till now and we were not given the courtesy of an apology from the airline or from your office. This isn’t fair to us sir and I just thought I express my grievance.” Instead of getting the due apologies, he was pounced upon by the governor’s aides. Read what happened after below: “I booked an @overland flight from jalingo to Abuja for 1pm today and when we all got to the airport we were told there was gonna be a 30mins delay which we agreed to. We waited for 2 hours without any information from the airline or the airport authorities. “After 2 hours, I and my colleagues got so hungry that we had to look for food at the closest location to the airport which is the Nysc camp mammy market all because the airport is at a remote location far away from the town. “All passengers at the airport kept complaining when minutes became hours and there no sign of us taking off soon. Finally at 7pm we were called to board only for us to be delayed in the plane further, few mins later the Governor of the state walks into the plane without the courtesy to apologize for keeping us from 1pm to 7pm(6 good hours). “I then walk up to him and explain “sir I am a law abiding and tax paying citizen just like the other people on the plane whom u delayed from 1pm till now and we were not given the courtesy of an apology from the airline or from your office. This isn’t fair to us sir and I just tot I express my griviance” (wetin I talk bad?). “Before I knew it his aides rushed into the plane and started raining abuses on me and slapping me…dragged me out of the plane that who gave me the right to talk to “their governor” that he has the right to keep all of us till tomao if he wants to. I just looked with shock….a flight that I paid for with my hard earned money fah! Well he later called them to order and told them he wanted to see me. He explained he didn’t know he kept us and I replied that his office knew and it was their job to offer apology and refreshment to us. “Later I found out even the hostess and pilot had to go source for food when hunger started dealing with them. The painful part is that passangers in the airport that were complaining and shouting to the airline operatives while we waited for the flight kept mute and others joined the aides in berating me for talking to “their Governor”. “I just wonder where this nation is headed when public servants elected by the people to serve us become mini gods over the same electorate. Was I wrong with my action?” |
