I think the person that put up this thread has not seen a typical lady's shoe closet.
Even less celebrated average women have much more.
I could count just about 17 pairs only.
Last time I peeped into my brother's wife's closet, I lost count after 55 pairs, not including those she bagged to give out.
And these are Nine West, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein, etc.

[quote author=Piyke post=19646692]I am mechanical minded.
Although not a mechanic, I have been around them and their workshops a lot.

Done the following repairs on my 1996 Camry:

1. Thermostat replacement.
2. Changed air intake hose
3. Changed air filter
4. Replaced radiator.
5. Changed front brake pads.
6. Replaced ignition lock cylinder ( 1998 Camry).
7. Replaced inner door handle trim.
8. Replaced driver side door lock.
9. Brake fluid flush.
10. Power window regulator replacement.
11. Replaced bulbs, etc.
12. Replaced windshield wipers

Planned work:
Need to change my sway bar links and bushings.
Tried recently but the 14mm nut was tough to loosen.
Oil and transmission fluid change have not caught my fancy yet.

If one develops the interest and consults relevant resources, these repairs are easy to do, especially if your car is not complex.

That's true bro.
Too many users which indicates something wrong somewhere. Oyinbos wey can use one car for many years and suck all the goodness inside before throwing it away.
Many users does not mean the car is bad.
Most of these cars are driven on very good roads free of pot holes.
Corollas last forever and it is economical on fuel.
Mileage is only 188K. I won't be surprised if the original shocks are still there.
With good handling, this car will go for the next 7 - 8 years or more.

Majority opinion seems to favour replacing the engine.
Any idea of the cost and Honda models that have engines that can fit?
Thanks.

EgunMogaji:
To me based strictly what was written leads me to believe that you have an unbalanced crankshaft. Did the mechanic consider a bad harmonic balance? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonic_balancer

I'm certain that a properly sourced crankshaft will sort the issue but you have to balance the economics of that versus getting a new engine in the Nigerian sphere.

Good luck.
The harmonic balancer is what we have been replacing.
Maybe due to the imbalance in forces, the c/shaft got cracked.
I agree with you that a proper c/shaft installed by a good mechanic should solve the problem.
Still chewing on my options...
Thanks

Pls, buy another engine, don't buy pulley and pin again. I have a 98 civic, a wonderful car. I changed the pulley more than ten times, two crank shafts and lot of stress. I had to change the engine last month. The money I had spent changing those stuffs couple with stress could buy 3 engines.
Thanks a lot for your input.
Another engine sounds convincing given your experience.
Do you have any idea about cost and Honda models that are also compatible?

GAZZUZZ:
Pics of the problem please. What material is the pulley made of?
I do not have any pics and I am currently away from the car.
I get the sense that by pulley, you are referring to the drive belt that turns the power steering and fan around.
The mechanic called it pulley but I think he was referring to the metallic disc (I found out it is also called "harmonic balancer"wink that locks the crankshaft in place before installing the tire.

Hope this helps and thanks for your time.

Technically, it seems safe that once you are 'out', pregnancy will not occur.
But what about re-entry and the smear at the tip of the penis?
Really it takes as little as a smear of semen to cause pregnancy.
You really, really have to be very dry upon re-entry and withdraw before the spill for this method to be effective.
This is why people complain or disown a pregnancy since they did not ejaculate inside.

Car Talk2000 Honda Shuttle 2.3 I Es: Replace Crankshaft Or Buy Engine? by Nyceguy92(op):
I need the help of house members in this matter.
I have a year 2000 Honda Shuttle 2.3 i ES, 4 cylinders.
In September, the Crank Pulley came off.

Mechanic found the pulley was cracked and the pin was bent.
Another pulley + pin was installed.
Problem happened again about 3 weeks later. Another pulley installed.

About 3 weeks ago, it happened again for the 3rd time and we decided to investigate the cause.
Mechanic said the crankshaft was cracked and suggested buying another engine.
He also said the crack could be filled by a welder.
Filling was done with the assurance we won't have any more problem as it was done well.

Well, just driving the car around town for shopping and errands only, the pulley came off again barely a month after.
Some say replacing the crankshaft will bring more problems.
The car has mileage of a little over 200, 000 and drives good.

Now my questions:
(1) What is the cause of this problem?

(2) Should I replace the crankshaft or buy 1/2 engine?

(3) What other Honda vehicles have crankshafts and engines that are compatible with my Honda Shuttle?
This is in case I don't find the exact model for my car in the market.

(4) Is it true that replacing the crankshaft will cause more problems?

(5) Any idea how much the crankshaft and 1/2 engine sell in the market.

I will be sure to read every opinion. And thanks for reading this.

P/S: Please, by "pulley", I mean the meta disc that locks the crankshaft in place before the tire is installed.
That was what the mechanic called it, but I found out is also called the "Harmonic Balancer."

bro I have discovered that if your sway bar bushings are bad waht you will get is craking noise due to clearance, however the sway you are talking about will happen if the bar itself is broken .Also if the l inks bushings are bad then same cranking noise and you will feel it in the wheels. while U can only change the bushings on teh sway bar you will have to change the full linking arms as its cheap anyways.I'm doing this soon and I will document it on here circa 2nd week of nxt month.Damn Pyke where are you huh huh
Most likely you have a brake issue.
It is very rare for a sway bar to break, unless in an accident.
You will get a sway if the bushings are dry or loose and grip on the bar.
Yes you are right about the suspension links signs.
You get jolts that seem to hit you straight in the back bone, ouch!

[quote author=Theyveedo post=40367452]It is our cultural value and I have noting against it.

Every society has their taboo.

The right hand is regarded as higher place than the left and it shows respect to give r receive with it.

Tell me, how would a national soccer team feel if an opponent country fields her 2nd or 3rd team to play the other in an international match?

Not that I mind, anyway. If the most convenient hand at the time is the left one, so be it.

In Western countries, it is disrespectful not to look somebody in the face while while talking or been talked to.

[quote author=Islie post=40217259]I hate it when people gloss over a real problem and give half-baked unrealistic answers.

Some tell her to get busy and do some other things with her time.

Sexual satisfaction is a huge factor in marriage. In fact it is said that marriage is half sex, half love.

My sister, your problem is real and genuine. The solution lies mostly with how well your husband will cooperate.

Your husband does not need to see a doctor. His problem is either anxiety or inexperience.

It has nothing to do with how many times you turn and rotate in bed for him.

Get him materials, including audio-visuals, on the female body as it relates to lovemaking.

As a pastor, he should be versatile in his knowledge, not only how to quote Bible verses for prosperity.

He needs to know how to keep his sensation in check to prevent premature ejaculation.

There are sites - not Indecency- one can visit to learn a few things.

Lastly, it is too early to leave or consider getting satisfaction elsewhere.

There is hardly any problem that is very peculiar to Camry alone, e.g. gear problem or pulled shaft, etc.
Car TalkRe: Why Does My Car Swings To The Left When I Apply Brakes by Nyceguy92: 4:12am On Nov 18, 2015
[quote author=cbrass post=40107299]Most likely your right brake isn't working.

The left brake is working and while it is slowing your car down on that side, the right wheel keeps turning thus pushing your car to the left.

You may have good brake pads but if your right calipers are not working due to stiff guide pins or blocked brake fluid hose, car will behave same as in worn pads.

However, if you experience some kind of swaying either in the back or front, your sway bar bushings or sway bar (suspension) links may be bad.

Solution is simple: have a mechanic check your pads, bushings and links.
