CFCfan: The Dutch only had 2 touches in the Argentinian box during regulation timeyeah, no shot on target until final minutes I think. Now people can see that Belgium didn't play too badly. Argentina was just better. |
That Higuain goal wasn't offside ![]() |
In the next 45 mins, the world would bow for Messi's genius. |
usbcable: Messi and Robben being caged by both decensive unitsRobben the Diving Dutchman doesn't have a De Jong permanently buzzing around him. |
CFCfan: You're welcometif ![]() |
safarigirl: ignorance pardoned...what would you rather I use?'A European'. European begins with a vowel letter but not a vowel SOUND. The article used should depend on the sound (not letter) in english, whether spoken or written. |
safarigirl: Let's Go Neds! Finish off the South Americans. Argentina and Brazil can go and play their dream finals in the 3rd place match.em... Pardon my ignorance, but 'AN EUROPEAN?' ![]() |
Omooba77: This will be repeat of 1978 Final, funny enough,Argentina was the last host to win the World cup,if I can remember.......France '98 nko? |

Lol @ Luiz and Gustavo praying and thanking God that the torture has ended ![]() Mehn I fear who no fear Germany. |
hermesprogidy: Germany hasn't been outstanding either, unlike the last world cup. netherlands may not have been outstanding in their play, but the have been outstanding for the fact that nobody tipped them to go this far in the competition. Infact most pundits tipped spain and chile to qualify from their group. On account of tht, I'd say the netherlands have been outstanding.no dey lie jor. Most expected Spain and Netherlands to qualify. The only argument was who would top the group. After Netherlands thrashed Spain, many concluded that the world cup is already theirs. See betting odds before the world cup http://www.worldcupodds.net/group-b-betting-odds Una go just dey lie anyhow ![]() |
Sanchez01: I corrected that before now; meant to put up 'driving'. True, I agree with your perception of football but that Argentina should/must scale through because of Messi? Let's call a spade a spade, we all have players we adore and cheer for but the lowest pit any fan can fall into as far as football is concerned, is to cloud one's judgments with sentiments. I love Ronaldo, but that does not mean that he must win the World Cup this time, particularly with a team as Portugal. I love the Nigerian team, particularly Osaze Odemwingie, but that still does not mean that Nigeria is fit and ready to win a World Cup with a team filled with errors and sentiments. Once you catch my drift, then you're certain to understand what I'm driving at.*yawns* tell me you didn't want Ronaldo to score as many times as he had a haircut in Brazil. As far as I know, only Germany has been as consistent as Argentina, and they have been less dependent on one or two players. But then, even Germany struggled against Ghana, Algeria and then France. Such is football. Any team that reaches the semiifinals is good enough to win the world cup. I want Argentina to lift the trophy, sue me. |
Sanchez01: Now I understand where you're diving at. You should have stated it that you're a fan of a player and not a lover of the beautiful round leather gameWhat is this one saying? I'm not diving anywhere, I'm not Robben. So bashing your assertion disqualifies me from being a lover of football? So be it. Beautiful football is an art, and it's quality is in the eyes of the beholder. You dodged my question: Did you expect Argentina to reach the semifinals? |
Sanchez01: If it's because of Messi you're praying that Argentina goes through, then it's either you go back to noticing effective and upright teams or that you call your beloved Messi on phone to up his performance so as to go through.lol. Some people want Netherlands to win because of RVP, and it's ok? Only James Rodriguez has scored more goals than Messi so far. But Messi has created the most goal-scoring opportunities in the tournament so far. Where is he upping his performance to? Has Robben the Diving Dutchman been as outstanding for Netherlands as Messi has been for Argentina? |
mencade5: my God told me argentina will win the world cup. To hell with cortanalol. It hasn't said Germany would win the cup. Only said Germany would win Brazil and that Argentina would win too. I want an all South American final. The Europeans, especially the Diving Dutchman and his gang can settle for 3rd and 4th best. |
Sanchez01: Quite the sarcasm please and read my previous posts, Netherlands did disappoint against Costa Rica by settling for a shoot out to decide the outcome of that match. Still, Argentina is nowhere near Netherland's level. That they did not settle for a penalty does not mean this is what is expected from the Argentinian team.did YOU expect Argentina to get to the semifinals? Be honest. |
Sanchez01: They've been more like an average team right from the start. Their football has not been impressive.Right! Apart from Germany, Argentina is the only side remaining that hasn't had to claw it's way through a penalty shootout. Their win against Belgium (the much hyped dark horse that was supposed to slaughter Argentina) must have been very unimpressive too. Netherlands must have greatly impressed you greatly with their stalemate and penalty shootout against Costa Rica, or their diving antics against Mexico. |
Even Cortana says Germany would win And Argentina ![]() |
fados4sure: Cortana made me money last week so, what is cortana saying about the remaining match?Cortana says Germany would beat Brazil, and Argentina would beat Netherlands. http://m.ibtimes.co.uk/fifa-world-cup-2014-germany-will-beat-brazil-argentina-will-best-netherlands-semi-finals-1455518 |
My prediction for this match: If Brazil kicks off the match, they would struggle. Germany would dominate but miss lots of chances. Brazil would score the winning goal (lucky or controversial) in extra time. If Germany kicks off the match, Brazil would be comfortably massacred in normal time. |
ujsizzle: lol weapon ke?Isn't it that book written by an author with 69 men impatiently breathing down her neck? ![]() |
ejibaba: woah...i will still suggest you give him time to sort himself out...also, like someone suggested cease being a moderator that is better than moving out on people appealling to you.well said. |

Em... Born the same day and month of different years, we both have a birthmark (hers is dark, mine's light) on the same right thumb, same religious beliefs, same low appetite, both hate onions, skin reacts same way to extreme cold, both WhatsApp freaks, gossip king and queen when with each other... The best part is that I could say a set of normal words to a crowd and she'd be the only one to understand the real coded meaning. We are opposites in many things too. |
