durella4: Nothing s wrong about dat!!!!!dude stop abusing exclamation marks. |
Smh at the comments here. Nigerians are too superstitious. Snakes can climb tall trees (some even glide from tree to tree), and some are wondering how they climb electric poles? God save this our generation from ignorance and superstition. |
Someday the world governments would stand up against religion in general. It's getting closer. |
DesChyko: Easy.. Continuity of the family.. The males carry on the family names.well unless you are from one of the seven kingdoms of George Martin's fictional Westeros (Game of Thrones), I don't see how this is true. Ever heard of a House Nnamdi or Oladapo or Garuba or Egharevba, whose generations keep bearing the family name for many centuries? Family names only last two or three generations at most. Carrying on the family name is an illusion we have come to believe. |

creamyice121: Dey just dnt knw wat dey are saying cus is only female children dat takes care of their old parents well......another popular one from the factory of legendary female lies. |
Xtarxhyne: ;-D BosewuoluwaniSholaeoh Lawd! How you take write am for Waec? |
jnrbayano: In large part my write-up agrees with you. I remarked that SMS/text-messaging helped eliminate the distance barrier in a long distance relationships, giving such relationships succour. That's in that era were SMS/messaging held sway.well, you do have a point. Fakers would always remain fakers though, regardless of what means of communication they use. We can as well lie in a hand-written letter or even face to face. Electronic communication just makes it easier to tread the path we choose, good or bad, honesty or deceit. When it's easier to meet people and be in a relationship just by getting a browsing phone, it would definitely be easier to be in a loveless relationship. |
This is just sad. A prayer for all children... That one day they have a life they can truly call their own. ![]() |
Phew... The thread lives. Well, what is dead may never die! |

halmeyd: yeah u re right, dats bkoz young, adventurous and easy-to-bed grls are rare on nairaland, mst nairaland babes re matured nd "cautious"....Dat reminds of doze days 2go nd bbm were reignin, i catch punnani taya.not exactly more matured and cautious. A girl is a girl. It's always easier if you can isolate her (psychologically) before trying to get into her head. Private chats on 2go and bbm provide such 'isolation' which you can't get that easily on NL. |
okpara ugo: You won't understand.confronted? What would you tell her? That someone else saw her? Or that you saw her but didn't recognise her cos she turned her face away? Let's start from how you needed to see your girl's face to recognise her. That's rather poor, no matter how you imagine it. If you could notice how she leaned on the car and could realise that there was something familiar about her, driving isn't excuse enough. Anyway, like you said, don't act like you know everything. Don't confront her directly or she would get defensive. Use subtle questions... Start from what you already know. If she lies about those, chances are she'd lie about the rest. Pretend you don't know she lied, play along for a while before letting her know what you think of her. Don't do it if you aren't ready to let go. |
Different strokes for different folks. For me text messaging has helped relationships, and WhatsApp is a total blessing. |
What is dead may never die, but rises, harder and stronger. A man likes the drowned thread, but a man can only watch. Seun can you make a nairaland thumbs-up emoticon for us? |
halmeyd: bt 80% of nairaland guys re potential kitten-hunterzmaybe so, but only about 0.1% are ever successful. |
And the girl didn't think it proper to return the sweater early enough. Give a girl your sweater for the moment and she thinks it's now hers. Smh... |
halmeyd: yeah lot of psychos nd PUNNANI-HUNTERS.and the latter is a very jobless venture on NL. |
Make una free the girl jor. I wonder why some guys pick on girls who show open interest in being in a relationship, then later start accusing girls of being too pretentious to go for what they want. Girls have a right to search too. |
You couldn't recognise your girl from afar? You needed to see her face first? What kinda relationships do people have these days? |
Young po413: The relationship was already over on his side and he was patiently waiting for you to call it off,so even if your was switched off for a year,he won`t give a hoot.answering the op seven years later? Hian!! ![]() |
@op, it's rather nauseating the way you keep saying stuff like "you asked us to... We obeyed" or "you said... We did." Which kind whiteman worship be this? Those stuff you mentioned are more like cultural assimilation (for example Romans copied Greeks, English copied Romans and Greeks to the extent of language), not commands from a greater race and obedience from the inferior, like you are insinuating. Upgrade your self-esteem. On the gay ish, none of my business. |
