lamdec: I am currently serving in Ogun State and it was her Dad that insisted that she should leave camp, the camp director told her dad that she would be decamped if she steps out of the camp and the dad agreed. It was even the dad that camp to carry her.
This settles it. She wasn't endangered. My argument here is complete. *unfollows post*

channel 190: she didnt introduce more than one character, just like we have discovered.

larrysun, not all writers are masters of all genres.

her update is to me better, if deleted.

as in it fall short of the previous standards.
uniquesty, i might not b frequent in this section but have always followed this story.

for the fact that you made mention of HIM in an ordinary manner killed my joy.

my cents is that it shou,d be deleted.
nah... It should only be edited. I think she should relax and read everything again, from chapter one, slowly, and try to touch certain parts of her post.

She did well in my opinion, considering the short notice and the pressure to perform.
It seems like all the writers are going on a killing spree. There is scarcely a chapter that doesn't have one character or the other being killed. Our murderous intents are taken out on the poor pens and papers. grin The plot thickens though.
as in eh... The ladies are scaring me. First madam Efe killed Tracy, then madam Ishi killed Mr and Mrs Ibu, now madam Xty has killed Ayodele. Only male killing was by Mr Sigmund.

Statistics:
-6 male and 3 female writers have submitted so far.
-Killings by female writers=4
-Killings by male writers=1
-All female writers that have written so far, have killed at least one character.

Conclusion:
*shivers at the thought*

lmao @ "am I cleared?".

Anyway, did you read the post I replied at all? grin The dude said camp! Now stand back and let him answer.
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 9:07am On Mar 13, 2013
almajiri101: take it or leave it putting hijabs to parade ground in camp is prohibited. Soldiers don't take shit with otondos so therefore the issue of robbery is totally differed man.
lmao... In a camp run by millitary men? I like how you changed the argument from 'camp' generally, to just 'parade ground' grin. I never expected any reasonable answer sha.

almajiri101: Those pictures are from CDS. It would never happened in any camp where all activities are running by military men.
your claim in boldface is crap! Would you believe that a camp being run by military man can be robbed? So anyone who has seen a hijab-wearing female in camp has glaucoma right?

Ladies wear hijab in camp in the north. Do not argue what you do not know jor. So corper fit tie wrapper go CDS abi?
I used to think that Ayomide was disguising as the limping man, now that Ayomide is dead, I guess I was wrong. So, the limping man hasn't been given an identity yet, right? The HIM...what's his name again?
lol... I kinda diferentiated the limping man from Ayodele in chapter 6 when I introduced him.

As for HIM, let's leave that for latter writers to give him an identity that is true to the hype that has been built around him already. grin

almajiri101: you have a comprehension problem, those pictures are CDS not camp, once you are out of camp, ur damn free to wear anything but in camp nobody dresses diferently,if not white then it must be khaki no hijabs, coloured knickers except on sundays. Stop arguing brother.
lol. Stif-necked ignorance. Many peeps have posted on this thread about ladies wearing hijabs IN CAMP the north and even about a catholic sister wearing her blue catholic dress IN CAMP, but since you are all-knowing, you can rightly claim that NOBODY in any camp dresses differently. Nice!

cyril83: see how naïve you are, i called her action hypocrisy because she should have processed her exemption from the school instead of enforcing her rotten beliefs on them. So how was her action a resilence when she already had every clue of what would happen. Dude you need go back to school, education really helps.
yeah yeah, you are free to call me vile names when you have no real reply to my questions. How does this post show that she was not resilient like I said earlier? You misuse the word 'hypocrisy'. Na english dey confuse you.

On to more important matters... How about others who did not take exemption letters, but did not wear trousers instead?

Adufaye: yes der is!.
Trousers? There is no such place in the bible. It only says 'cloth of a man'. Men didn't wear trousers in bible times. They wore inner and long outer garments (rendered as skirts in some translations). In our time, there are trousers made exclusively for females. You guys misinterprete scriptures greatly.

TechyGuy: In as much as I know that doctrine isn't biblical, most of you here talk like you didn't or haven't done NYSC. If you served in the north you must have seen ladies from the other religion who wear hijab or Buqha (don't really know the pronunciations). Some even covered their face, so guys cut the crap attacking the babe for her faith!
This is coming from a Christian who believes trousers are more suitable for ladies.
I tire for them o. Let them continue to wallow in self-inflicted ignorance. Here someone is telling me about camp rules as if na only him do NYSC.
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 7:07am On Mar 13, 2013
cyril83: lwtmb! You are probably an undergraduate or a mechanic somewhere, stop arguing what you don't know. If otondo is decamped or relocated, he or she would not be allowed to spend extra 30mins inside d camp and d decision must have been made during d day.
lol. That's the same way you would stubbornly argue that one one is ever allowed to dress differently, just because you have not seen corpers in camp in dresses (sister/nun) or muslim ladies in hijabs. Don't be too quick to presumptuously dismiss other people's claims based on your own assumption (that every camp follows every 'rule' to the letter every time).
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 6:07am On Mar 13, 2013
cyril83: hypocrisy is a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess while resilence is tendency to cope with stress and adversity. Stop taking ojo for aina.
hmmm... Wedding your explanation and your claim, she's a hypocrite cos she was PRETENDING to have a 'no-trouser' PRINCIPLE, right? huh Guy if I tell you my mind now, you go say na insult. In the face of POSSIBLE EVICTION, she was still able to MAINTAIN HER STAND and you say that isn't resilience?

You've got a problem with english, man! The silly urge to pronounce someone else a hypocrite so you can sound better off, just makes it harder for you.
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 1:42am On Mar 13, 2013
cyril83: Abeg deck your baseless arguement dude! You are so full of assumptions. Besides you can as well use your numba six to solve the equation, the light out is 10pm and the news claimed she left 11pm.
lol... We both were not there. I am arguing based on info provided and you say I am assuming? Interesting! grin

Before dismissing something as false especially when you were not there to witness it, consider all possibilities. Isn't it possible the whole issue began before 10pm and she finally left camp at about 11pm? In the link you posted, why was the time in question not disputed if it were really untrue? Your turn to use your brain man, it doesn't hurt.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs AC Milan : UCL (4 - 0) On 12th March 2013 by Oahray: 1:19am On Mar 13, 2013
pazienza: Ronaldo definitely have been better than messi this season, scoring in important fixtures, while messi keeps bagging hatricks against espanyol and their likes.
yes, Ronaldo's 'important goals' is the reason Madrid is 'leading' the la liga table at 2nd position and 13pts behind Barca, and Messi's unimportant goals is the reason Barca is flopping at 1st position on the table.
Sadly, another dummy like you clicked like on your post.

safarigirl: nah!

*plays out the scenario in my head*

Girl is called into co-ordinator's office, co-ordinator questions girl on disobedience, girl insists trousers are against her 'faith', co-ordinator gives girl option, "comply by the rules or leave first thing by morning"

Girl feels cheated, begins to rant about the persecution of Christians, going further to quote references in the bible, speaks on Revelations, drops the "I serve a living God who will fight for me" line, insists on leaving immediately so as not to blemish her faith, co-ordinator no send any overgrown baby, they let her go.

Most of these 'born again' christians tend to be irrational in thoughts and spontaneous in actions...if say dem been r@p3 her (and it's much faster to r@p3 someone in a skirt) na so she for blame NYSC
She chose to leave in the dead of the night when she was not asked to?

Can you testify as an eye witness in a law court that that is exactly what happened without running the risk of perjury?
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 12:54am On Mar 13, 2013
ebosed: thats figure of speech. our convictions cant just be enough. period. osama is convinced. bh are too
quit the mind games, man. You can't possibly be better than me at it.

Meanwhile, her resilience is what I praised, not the correctness of her beliefs. If you cannot note the difference, I cannot help you.

Osama and bh were/are spurred on by conviction and so was the co-ordinator who sent her packing. So were the Wright brothers who believed their plane would fly and was worth the effort. So were other inventors and discoverers. You really have no point, mr.

ebosed: dont be rude guy. all i am saying is that both of them should fact find their convictions becos they might be sincerely wrong..sincerely raped at 11pm...sincerely fired at 8am
I simply replied the same way you did. I admired the way she stood up for her conviction and you brought 'lunatic' into the issue, remember?
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 12:28am On Mar 13, 2013
cyril83: the 11pm thang is just an exaggeration. Besides bros that attitude is very far from resilence, it is called hypocrisy.
you chose to disbelieve the 11pm info, but believed the report about her LEAVING CAMP ON HER OWN. Na wa for your bias.

If you knew what 'hypocrite' mean, you wouldn't call her that. Hypocrites are pretenders, and no hypocrite would keep up the pretense if it would land him in trouble. Brainwashed? Maybe. Fanatic? Maybe. Resilience? Definitely!
NYSC › Re: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by Oahray: 12:21am On Mar 13, 2013
ebosed: convictions can be a decor. lunatics are convinced they are sane while others are insane. you have been sincerely convince about something you later regreted.
blah blah blah. Everyone knows that. Would you call the girl insane who choses not to wear trousers even at the risk of expulsion, and call the co-ordinator sane who asked her to leave at that ungodly hour?

Answer so I can tell you your sanity level.
