Why believe something that defies all reasoning? Just because a group of Bishop's under Connstantine in the first council of Nicea claimed that was what every christian should believe. Didnt the catholic church teach that Jesus was born in December 25th too. Recently, the Pope admitted it wasnt true. Talk about infallibility of the church. Would you rather believe your church over the bible? The bible is the basis for christian beliefs today. Check out what it says about God being an unexplainable mystery:

Yes, Jesus being different from his Father, declared or explained the Father so that we might know Him. If God was a total mystery, why did Jesus bother?

And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life." -1 John 5:20 (New Living Translation)

We have been given understanding so that we can KNOW the only true God. This would give eternal life. Yes! The true God isnt a mysterious being that cant be known.

"And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God , and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." -John 17:3 (English Standard Version)

This verse shows who the true God is- He is the one who sent Jesus. The Father is the ONLY TRUE GOD. If we do not know their true identity as two distinct unequal beings, how do we put faith in whom we do not know? How can we have the eternal life promised here?

Because he was only human, though perfect.

God the father, Jesus and the Holy spirit have all existed coequally and eternally....that's why God is the the embodiment of what true love is

Is that what equality means to you? Get a dictionary. If we are equal it means we are of the same status. We are both humans but if you send me on errands and I go, saying 'let your will, not mine, be done', would any sane person watching conclude we are equal?

They killed Jesus because they hated him. John 11:45-53 shows that the chief priests and the pharisees first started plotting Jesus' death after He raised up Lazarus. They saw the way people were believing in him. They believed they were acting in the interest of their nation. They simply tried to fault his teachings as an excuse.

No. Basically, its LACK OF TRUST that causes excessive monitoring. This lack of trust could be caused by:
1. One's own unfaithfulness, hence believing other people are the same.
2. Low self esteem. When a person has low self-esteem, he believes he isnt good enough for the partner and she would soon be swooped up by a better person.
3. Past experiences. Probably the partner has shown some disturbing signs of infidelity before, or has been caught cheating before.

A person who is faithful but is influenced by factors 2 and 3 would still monitor every movement.
There are also some chronic cheats who do not monitor their partners.

My point? There is no hard and fast rule in relationships.

@true2god, the reason for threads like this is not to win arguments or make yourself the sole righteous person there is. There are people out there who hunger for the truth. Its as simple as stating your beliefs with bible backing. The Bible is the authority, not any church. At least the Jehovah's witnesses show you from the Bible. Do you bother to listen and reason from the Bible? No. Because you have your mind all made up already.

Rev 12:9 shows that the dragon, Satan has his angels too. These spirits were once God's angels, but now Satan's since they switched allegiance to Satan, thus becoming his messengers or ministers. Satan too was once an angel.
