Those girls didn't do it, quote me anywhere. They are 14-15 yrs. What do they know about technology? Even the majority of final-year science and engineering students contract their project out.
I guess its one of those sec school things where some students are pushed forward for special effect. Its all about marketing their image. But what is the use trying to paint a fake pic of the educational system? Its dishonesty. Nice invention though.

Nature (personality, genes) vs nurture or environment (parental upbringing, school/peers, media e.t.c) Cant help picking nurture over nature in this issue. So far I'v read the comments, and I beg to differ on the opinion that personality or genes (AbiL's theory) does influence one's self-esteem more than environmental factors. For one thing, I don't see how genes come into the picture. Humans are social creatures, and how we see ourselves is influenced by how others see us, especially in our formative years. True, not all kids turn out the same way, even under the same roof. But it is also true that not all kids are treated the same way, even under the same roof and by the same parents. Imagine a child growing up and constantly being compared with his or her 'genius' sibling, and reminded he/she isnt good enough, or being the b.u.t.t of ridicule or bullying at school. The kid would definitely have a low self-esteem, unless other contributing factors can efectively neutralize the effect.

I didnt watch the match, just followed the scores on livescore.com and all I can say is wow! I planned to mock my Arsenal fan friends for falling 4-0 to a Reading side. Forget what the haters say, it's a miracle to come back from 4-0 and win 5-7. Trash the talk about Reading being an inferior team. Didn't they score 4goals with their 'inferior' players and pressure Arsenal into scoring an own goal? Kudos to Arsenal jor. As a Barca fan, I'd be proud of any such Barca win any day regardless of what competition it is, or whom they play.

What should she do? Only she has the answer to her question. If she doesnt feel the same about him anymore, could it be cos he has changed (at least in her eyes) or her expectations have changed? She isnt even sure about getting married anymore... She needs some deep reflection on what she truly wants, then have a heart-to-heart talk with him. About her anxiety to get married, I think its better to be single and happy than married and depressed. I'v seen nightmare marriages, some start with little unfading doubt before marriage. Yet the couple goes ahead with the wedding anyway. Hope your friend makes a wise choice.

After the rap, he just talks... Notice he says 'It feels like I stood there watching. The pain and the brutal torture. And added my silence to the violent screams of burn and torture'. Here, he condemns the babaric act of the killers and those that stood watching, to whom life didnt mean a thing. Nowhere in the song did he ever imply he would have died for them... He just feels life should have more value, and the youths that have died (Chidi, Lloyd, Tekena, Ugonna, the adamawa students, and the two gals) shouldnt be forgotten just like that. You should learn to read between the lines. Its deeper than just words.
