Kini big deal? If she can chill in the car when it's good, why can she not push when it's bad? |
Bros thank you for this topic. It's very irritating to see how desperate some ladies are to get married. Afterwards they start complaining everyday about marriage, trying to get out. I think it's the society sha. Right from childhood, parents, relatives, friends and even strangers are always there to remind a girl that the reason she needs to learn how to cook or behave well is 'so she can marry a good husband'. Don't blame girls for growing up to believe that's the reason they were born. Marriage ought to be a means to an end, not the end itself. Meet a person, get to really know him, realise that you want to spend the rest of your life with him and achieve goals together. Marriage simply provides a solid legal basis for those goals. Sometimes I just pity some ladies... |
April07:lol. B³ tell me it matters ![]() |
chrisbaba1:please stop twisting scriptures. Cain's offering wasn't rejected because it cost nothing. Read a story fully (not just the first post, some details get added afterward) before any crap about values. The guy has zero class and whack egoistic values. |
Awww... That's terrible ![]() |
freecocoa:awww... Nice proposal but I'm a bit very married already Seriously, I think it's the wave of gender apathy that is gradually taking over the world. These days, most people take sides with their gender regardless of who is wrong. If the roles were reversed, you'd have see a different set of comments. Most guys now siding the guy, would bash the girl for tossing a gift in the bin. Many girls would acknowledge that the girl overreacted but would call the guy cheap for giving such a gift that is bad enough to provoke anyone. Kids now have browsing phones too. |
vivaciousvivi:alright then... You ladies can keep rolling in the mud just because you are afraid husbands are scarce. Just don't come back to ask why many men treat their women badly. |
vivaciousvivi:what exactly should she beg him for? ![]() |
The comments I'm reading here are pissing me off seriously. How come we have so many vain kids alive at the same time? No wonder relationships are now a mummer's farce. What is wrong with all of you? Anyone who talked about the guy having too much class for a mere shirt from ceremony, is incredibly stewpid. The dude practically scavenged her bag like a homeless guy, looking for rice like he has never eaten in his life before. That's someone with class? What's wrong with sharing ceremony souvenir with someone close to you, especially when he's interested enough to ransack her bag? You people are very sick in the head. Ritababe, your proud bf (abi husband) needs to apologise. If you call him first or beg him, you no get self-respect, and I'd understand why he doesn't respect you at all. |
The dude is a proud oaf ![]() |
luxanne:awww... You guys are awesome. A listening ear is invaluable. Thanks. Ok ![]() |
I'd have said "yes, if she's always willing to learn" but that would present a paradox of sorts. If I say yes, it means she's always willing to learn. If she's always willing to learn, she'd have done so at home. But if she had done so at home, there wouldn't be much to teach her. If there isn't much to teach her, then she can cook and so no use saying yes. If she cannot cook, then there is much to teach her. If there is much to teach her, she didn't learn at home. If she didn't learn at home, she isn't always ready to learn. If she isn't ready to learn then I cannot say yes. Ok, I'm lost myself ![]() |
melotreaah:your question is ambiguous then. No definite basis for comparing. Would she be 5 years older than Mike's future 20years in 2 years time, or 5 years older than Mike's current 17years? The former makes her currently 23. The latter makes her currently 20. |
23. She's 6 years older than Mike. |
What feeling? ![]() |
It's a no brainer. Of course it's easier to win them when they both split the support only one of them could have gotten. |
Teempakguy:sheesh... Now I have to explain my simple analogy. I wasn't comparing persons but tactics. Bottom line, you need to be able to use tact. Know what makes sense to talk about and what doesn't, by gauging both the capacity and interest of the person. It's a skill refined by experience and the humility required to learn from it. I'm not a chauvinist, and do not believe that someone your age would be dumb just because she's female. I've talked to girls without having to explain an analogy like I just had to do with you. If your high horse were intellect, how come my illustration easily flew over it? You also seem not to realise that the 'genius' you claim simply means your upper intellectual limit surpasses the regular 'high intelligence' limit. It does not mean your lower limit surpasses the upper limit. Don't flatter yourself. Would you find it hard to remember your ABC just because you easily grasp calculus? Here's the reason I wouldn't give you any tip like I initially wanted to... Maybe this illustration would help you grasp my point. Let's say you went to play games in an arcade house. Now they have games that require a unique kind of coin. Because you have surplus money, you decide to buy a sack-full of coins. The arcade machines require different number of coins per game. However the one that first caught your attention requires just two coins... Just two! And you have probably up to a thousand identical coins in your sack. Would you say "Jeez! I have too many coins. How do I go about emptying my sack till I have the two coins I need?" A normal person would simply bring out two coins and play. If you have a thousand coins, you also have two coins. It's common sense. I'm not going to explain this one. Go figure. |
luxanne:if I'm standing right next to you, no. Network on the other hand... You are not feeling me ![]() |
Luxanne, I second the 60 seconds motion. We could meet halfway at 59 seconds though. ![]() NB: at times it takes me more than a minute to load a single page. Now double it and add typing time. Man go survive sha. Jungle no fit too mature for lion. |
Teempakguy:smh... There's the self-conceit again. You truly are young. Having a screwdriver and a multimeter doesn't automatically make you an electrician. Distinguish yourself from a book. For a start, stop asking what they want to talk about. That's a conversation abortion, kills it before it's even born. It's also a warning bell that she's about to face an interview. Whatever conversation survives it would be strained, as any potential for natural flow it had would be lost. Like your model chat shows, you thereafter spent much time arguing whether or not you both were talking about singing. Then there is the little problem about knowing 'alot'. Can't you start a conversation with little kids? Would you start talking about string theory with a 3 year old because you know it, or because he let you decide the flow of the conversation? It would be like trying to ensnare birds with a hefty tuber of yam you lift above your head under the sun, and then wondering why no bird is stopping by. Look at the example of your chat above... A girl (who hasn't told you she's very much into music) admits she loves singing and you immediately ask how many octaves her voice covers. Seriously? There are waaaay better steps you could have taken before getting to octaves, or instead of it. How can there be so much that you don't know? ![]() I'm even talking too much. Get down off your high horse already. You probably know alot, but not nearly enough to keep a conversation going. You cannot improve if you cannot admit your shortcomings. |
Teempakguy:Saying you have to dumb yourself down to be able to talk to girls your own age is very very very condescending, and is probably one of the biggest reasons you haven't succeeded at it... and yes, it's very childish blaming everyone else but yourself. Get down off your high horse. If you cannot keep up a conversation, it is not because you are too good for them. It's because you aren't socially skilled enough. Admit that fact first and you can actually get to improve. Females are mostly easy to talk to, believe me, whether mature girls or starry-eyed teenagers. You just need to be very observant, and wide general knowledge would help you easily locate common ground. That's where you should build from... Common ground. |
Hmmm... The top dogs want to upgrade to 3gb RAM. I'd simply wait for Tecno and Gionee to climb up to the 2GB base ![]() |
killjoy:nice... You know, you have mastered your shading pretty well. It excellent. I used to have a charcoal pencil (soft), along with my set of H and B pencils, but I never tried using it for more than really dark hair. The portrait of the white dude is flawless. Tell me you used charcoal pencil for the really light shades ![]() |
luxanne:I'd get back to you please. Lemme see if I can reach Shugaryme. Please tag other contestants too. |
Creamish:you'd have to get a new watch, because the 'second' is standard, the same everywhere ![]() |
They are both waste baskets... APC and PDP |
freshblazine:really? Having two weak batteries is no where near as comfy as a strong one. How can you have 2gb ram and a quadcore processor on 1500mAh? |
Lol. Op, they struck out the case na. Change your title jor. The post is simply saying that MTN appealed against STRIKING OUT that particular case, but want the court instead to DISMISS the claim completely (to set a precedent for similar future claims). In other words, the man said "oya rest for the 150billion matter, I no wan too drag now" and the court said "ok" but MTN is saying "No! No rest the matter because the guy wan chill. E go be like say e just pity me. Tell the guy say na rubbish e be dey ask for, say make e no try am again." ...and the court said "Shut up MTN!" |
luxanne:15 seconds? Lol. From after the question is posted, right? So the contestant has to reload the page (do this every second for his own good), type the answer and then submit in 15 seconds. It would be definitely awesome leaving home at 8pm to go sit under a network mast ![]() |
omonla555:smh... You'd rather praise someone without pointing out where you think he can improve. Anyway you don't need to be better than him to see that his works can get better. Artists need critique more than mere praises. There's the regular charcoal from burning wood, and there's charcoal pencil which is a compressed form of the regular charcoal. They wouldn't come out exactly the same way on paper. The question (not questions) is to find out which he used. |
The battery is terrible. |
