Ujujoan:Thank you Uju, exactly my point. I have nothing against SLS, infact I admire his intelligence & courage. But we need to have/understand his clear roadmap. So far, IMHO the Nigeria economy is not looking good. I just asked my biz manager to cut down on lots of our biz activities and staff. If we understand his goal, the essence of his policies/reforms & thier impacts on the economy, we might have the faith & confidence to follow him like we followed Soludo. |
If you believe this rubbish from Sun news then you'll believe anything. Nonsense story. |
Happy birthday Dear. Wish u all d best in this new year. |
Awon ole - Thieves |
I just hope they would not do one 'abracadabra' and release them. I dont trust Nigerian Police. |
Humnnnnn, ok. Just passing by. No comment. Thanks Richyblack for the clarification. Now I know what happened. |
Please NLders, let's understand some basic facts here. This is National Security we are talking about & not just one of the ministry and we have a national security crisis at hand, this is no time time to experiment especially with security matters. You need an experienced hand on the job. Jonathan does not have much time, he needs result & fast too. I am against the appointment of Danjuma. But Gussau appointment is a step in d right direction at this time. Also, if Jonathan is thinking of making serious changes among the service chiefs, then he needs an intelligent man like Gusau by his side. Dont forget, this Gusau man and Obj cleansed the military and professionalised it without a single problem. Today is very difficult for military to plan coup, thanks to Obj & Gussau. Now with Gusau by Jonathan side, Jonathan can now deal/remove any of the non performing ministers or service chiefs without fear of any problem following. So if you can see what am seeing, this is one good intelligent step by Jonathan. |
IBB Why? Hell No!!!If this should happen. . . No, I cant just imagine it. God, if there is one prayer you must answer let it be that IBB and his likes never smell the seat of power of this nation. |
@poster, so many questions to be answered. welcome to the world of Nigerian politics. my candid advice to you, don't allow the political affairs of this country make you fall sick. POLITICS IS A GAME!
I just hope you are wrong! There are over 150million people depending on the action/inaction of Jonathan. Sincerely, I wish he performs |
Nonsense! Well, I dont blame you Thief Ibori, if only Jonathan has balls & had not surrender to your cabal, your likes should be behind bars by now, not making stupid statements. Rubbish!!! |
Beaf I agree with you. It is such a shame. I have decided to look beyond Jonathan and 2010 for meaningful change in Nigeria. I just wish we can all ensure our votes count in 2011 irrespective of whatever electoral review they put in place. I also hope Nigerian will elect a credible & visionary leader. Irrespective of where he comes from. The past leaders didnt help Nigeria and thier region. So let's elect a true leader this time. Finaly; I dont so much blame the people for not fighting enough, I was in Lagos during the save Nigeria protest, was dissapointed at the turn out, but when i asked many people why they didnt participate, I was told they were looking for what to eat and another one told ma a Yoruba adage i wont ever forget 'he whose head is used to break coconut, would not be part of the coconut feast' meaning they are not ready to die for nothing. I was asked what happened to hundreds who died during the June 12 riots - guess nothing. So let the cabal continue, and Jonathan keeps watching & doing nothing. . . But please let's vote for real change next year. |
How about changing the topic to United Nigeria or One Nigeria, that is a reflection of your message |
I can bet the author of that piece is Aondooka himself or his paid image maker. Absolute Rubbish! |
Ha ha ha ha. Lol Romantic Beaf!!! Nothing do u. Carry go. Who is that amebo saying beaf is married to oyinbo woman? make him keep quiet there. Beaf is a proper african man and he can marry as many women as he want. Aisha2 dont worry jor. you will remain beaf's angel of love forever. BTW beaf will soon become d governor of his state, let me be the 1st person to call u 'The 1st lady' - just no follow turai example o. |
Poster. I will advice you go there for a week or two 1st before deciding to settle down. |
@kvolander Sent it. |
Just sent it. |
Subzeroamd & 3ndy You've got mail. |
I believe she is sincere. I cannot fault anything she said or did. All I have to say now is that God will bless & keep her. I thought before now that she should have resigned because she & her project were not meant for this administration, but now am glad we have someone like her in FEC. I dont think she should contest for Anambra Governorship, she is good & big enough to be president of this country. |
Well let's see what happens b4 the next FEC meeting on wed. Things cannot remain like this for long |
Ok, this is the way i see it. Yaradua is in no position to rule even if he or turai or his kitchen cabinets want him to. - he came back in an ambulance. US Govt., Goodluck, & some peep are aware of the true state of yaradua's health - US already warned his advisers. And Jonathan was not keen on seeing yaradua, but choose to discuss with turai to know what she & d cabal want. Turai & d cabal realising that power has truly change hands & that no one will take an order of the president from them, when the president is only few meters away, decided to get a soft landing i.e. recognise Jonathan as actg President and Jonathan keeping the status quo - not declaring yarasick incapacitated and keep the kitchen cabinets in office till yaradua recovers or dies or till 2011. Right now the ball is in Jonathan courts & I think he knows it. Am just not sure which direction he will play it. |
Fine by me. If turai will limit hersel to the clinic and all yaradua aides/cabals will submit themselves to jonathan. I only wish Jonathan will truly takes charge. |
I dont know what Jonathan's strategies are, but he will be a fool to siddon look & allow turai & the cabals run things. He should insisit on seeing yarasick himself. He should also call all yaradua aides & security heads to order. Nobody should take any imaginary order of yaradua from turai & d cabal without his approval except it is received directly from Yaradua. That will cut Turai & d cabal to size. |
My only problem is that while these chicken and sick/dead horse fight, it is the well being & progress of Nigeria that suffer, otherwise I would have continue to enjoy the drama. |
otawa:If Jonathan is a delegated VP, Yaradua will continue to sign official document from aso rock clinic abi? Who needs a sick president? Yaradua should take the part of honour and resign as advised by his godfather. otawa:Nigerians voted for both, sorry, both were selected for Nigeria |
Drama unending. Jonathan will continue running things as what? Acting president or delegated V.P? |
I just hope Jonathan will be strong now and refuse to be forced to resign. |
Jonathan should not resign. Let Yaradua and his cabals do their worst. Majority of Nigerians are behind Jonathan. I think this is the beginning of the end. |
1326 - Unconfirmed reports quote sources at Aso rock as saying that the Acting President Goodluck Jonathan will resign at the 2PM meeting and some ministers might go with him.The actual rumor is that Jonathan is considering resigning. I hope is not true |
UPDATEFEC Meeting postponed! Jonathan still Acting President! |
