Interesting! am enjoying this discuss, subscribing silently. |
Let him come back 1st and let us see what Jonathan has in mind to do with him before all this 'jubilation' and speculations. The guy said he has not been contacted by anyone in Goverment. |
Eddeux:Cant agree with you less. although Asia and the rest of the world are also not devoid of their own corruption, but corruption in Africa is alarming. Following is poor leadership across Africa. Many of the leaders in Africa are vision-less, greedy, power drunk and overly corrupt. |
I will comment on the topic when other news media apart from Sun newspaper report it. I just dont trust Sun newspaper. |
Kobojunkie:How many are these Nigerians who have already reached the conclusion you talk about? few I guess. At least the list excludes me and many around me. Wait for few months, you will hear the views of many Nigerians loud and clear on whether he should contest or not. |
I think it is too early for now to start asking Jonathan to run in 2011. Before rolling out the campaign drums for Jonathan, let's see what he will do in the next six months. If he performs and gives quality leadership, Majority of Nigerians will rally behind him, PDP agreement or not. Apparently the ball is in Jonathan court. If he doesn't have what it takes to lead Nigeria and shows it in the next six months, Nigerians will look for another. |
lol. ![]() How I love this thread. brought back wonderful memories. The big tea bowl, the cane, the pranks etc. God bless Parents. |
Tegese:Yeah, me too. |
Emirate, South Africa Airways and Turkish airline will take you from Nigeria to Brazil (No need for transit visa) from Brazil there should be a flight that will take you to Belize with one stop. (Google that, also check Copa Airlines & if you cant get any let me know, I will help you check). One thing you should watch out for is your transit time when booking your tickets. Some countries allow transit time of 24hrs and others are just 12hrs. If your itinerary is not well done, you might find your self stranded or deported. |
hahahahahhaa! |
Fhemmmy:I wish I could share your optimism. Let's see who handles each ministry first. All the same, i hope for the best. |
Fhemmy, I really dont want to get involve in Dora's debate. i will say I was one of the people who called for her resignation on this forum, but am glad at the end of the day that she didnt because she was instrumental in breaking the cabal hold on FEC when it mattered most. @kobo I dont think it is an easy job to be an information minister to a non performing govt that is losing credibility. Ask Uche Chukwumerije how easy it was being an information minister to Ibb. |

No one should believe SR news yet. Dora might be in the list. I have nothing against Dora, she is a good woman. She was only in the wrong cabinet at the wrong time. |
A number of people in Lagos told me of this development, but nobody want to celebrate yet in case. . . |
ReachRich:lol Ever heard of the term 'global village'? Anyway am an high stakeholder in the Nigeria Enterprise and I happen to know some people in the right quarters. |
I dont know where SR got its info. Reliable source in the senate just told me the list includes 18 former ministers. Will give breakdown later. not sure Dora included. But sure of the 18 figure. |
Fingers crossed! I will keep my comments till I see the full list & possibly find out who handles what. |
^^ Any peaceful arrangement, that will not require the sacrifice of lifes and separate me from my other ethnic friends and relatives i have known over time is ok by me. And I sincerely hope for this. |
NnamdiN:We can not continue to accept this. We must vote for credible people, monitore our votes & ensure our votes counts. It was done in Lagos, Edo & recently in Anambra, we can ensure same everywhere. Enough of complaining and letting some few thousands determine & manipulate the destiny of 150millions. It will be a shame on all of us if these few people keep having there ways. Let's register, vote & defend our votes. It's the least we can do. |
Tadeus:I hate wars. I dont wish any should die for this, even though we have gathered enough recipe for war. We can sit amicably among ourselves & agree that things can not continue like this, then chater a new course. Or we allow UN to midwife a new arrangement for us. |
chosen04:lol, Chosen04, it can get so bad and Biafra is declared, that is hope. I just hope if that happens, i can count on you for invitation letter to get visiting visa to visit biafra. lol. |
Rubbish! He can resume today if he wants. Who needs a fore-notice for his resumption? Awon oniyeye! (jokers). Nonsense! |
The 'never say die' Nigeria faith in me, makes me believe there is hope. It is not over till it is over. It is either a good leader comes around and Nigeria changes for good. Or it gets worse and everything collapse foe a new beggining. Either way there is hope. |
I pray & advocate for confederation. Lets have 6 autonomous regions/nations each with her own goverment & administration but with an open boarder, free trade/movements and an arrangements where our different armies can come together to fight a common enemy or be each other brother's keeper when neccessary or simply have a combine milatary |
So sad! Too bad! Unfortunately this might continue to happen, until we decide to vote credible people as our leaders & ensure that our votes count. Enough should be enough! |
Ujujoan:Thank you Uju, exactly my point. I have nothing against SLS, infact I admire his intelligence & courage. But we need to have/understand his clear roadmap. So far, IMHO the Nigeria economy is not looking good. I just asked my biz manager to cut down on lots of our biz activities and staff. If we understand his goal, the essence of his policies/reforms & thier impacts on the economy, we might have the faith & confidence to follow him like we followed Soludo. |
