Are we ever going to get any good news comming from this goverment. Is there any tangible plan towards energy and road networks in his economic plan? This Yar'adua should forget about about his 7 point agenda and focus on 1 or 2 agenda (Power and good Road Networks) Other things will sort themselves out. |

This is a difficult question. You have to marry someone u love and that person should also be your best friend. So how do I advice u? Wait until your lover becomes your best friend or until you begin to love your best friend. Whichever one happens 1st. |

olymyk: OAM4J, why did you keep hiding under your so called 'OGA' justwise, are you such a fool that you are not man enough to be your self , what is the meaning of the rubish you said up there? you keep exalting this particular justwise to seek his approval in all your post , you dey mental, its your like that do yes sir to your junior in age and wash your wife pant for house, just wise you dont even know him i guess?, is your GOD here Whao. I guess my thread must have made so much impact. For sure it spoiled business for foolish scammers and agents that duped you. I go through posts in travel section every now and then, and am happy people have wised up. I read one yesterday asking agents to follow him to police station and sign undertaking… that gladdens my heart. Someone wanted to scam, even before we say anything, he started begging justwise not to label him a scammer. What is dat? Its fear, and his conciense. It measns scammers are now afraid here, cos they know they will be busted. I don’t know Justwise as a person but he has been in NL before me and am happy with what he does. Fool, nobody is hiding under anybody, we only compliment each other efforts to rid NL of terrible scammers like the one that scammed you. You are an unrepentant fool and too desperate. Because I busted your cover of been a fraudulent person u started hating me. Now u want to mislead smoothman to fall into the same pit with u. so that he too will have to get many passports in different names like u and be refused visa many times like u. Or may be since you have been banned by the embassy, and you know u are going nowhere, so u want to start scamming other people… you will not succeed here. Wicked scammers like u will only rot in prison and if they don’t repent they will eventually rot in hell. |
Politics › Re: Cross River State Govt Bans Okada - From Nov. 15th by OAM4J: 4:12pm On Nov 04, 2009 |
KnowAll: SO I am guessing you are not going to address the issues I raised?
I have already address the issue of a blanket ban of Okada riders in my earlier post, I said the whole exercise is an aesthetic policy of no intrinsic value to society other than the authorities excluding and disregarding the yearnings, pain, and the wellbeing of 85% of the Society.
To encourage what is clearly an elitist agenda to the detriment of society at large is not only going to spell doom and disaster for that society but clearly as we can see the early stage of the balkanisation of the Nigerian polity has already begun; it remains to see how far this rut will be allowed to slide before it is stopped.
I hope our clueless leaders will come to their senses and know that a flagrant pronouncement against the most vulnerable in our society is not governance but bullying and harassment. I sincerely hope our leaders will re-trace there steps and rescind all repressive and draconian laws which is anti-societal and apartheid in nature.
The Issue of Okada bikers involved in criminality can be addressed on a one to one basis, it is not any different from Danfo drivers involve in One-Chance. Should because Danfo drivers are involve in this social ills be banned from plying our roads. I am sure u can answer that. Nice one KnowAll. quite my sentiments. |

Politics › Re: Cross River State Govt Bans Okada - From Nov. 15th by OAM4J: 1:48am On Nov 04, 2009 |
KnowAll: Banning of Okada is an insensitive and elitist law that will impoverish half of the city of Calabar.
The fact that all it takes a hungry-man is to hop on his bike, do some run-around for a few hours and bingo like magic there is enough meal on the table for the wife and kids and there is pocket money for the kids to take to school. This mundane and subsistence livelihood will suddenly be snapped from the jaws of 120,000 individuals, if one were to consider the wives and children that will be affected by this in-humane law, then we are looking at a staggering figure of 450,000 people, It will mean the govement in her attempt to sanitise the city for the benefit of the few hundred upper class and middle class people have thrown 1/2 a million people to the dogs.
To support such a draconian law in a country where the is no income support is to suport indirect genocide, kwasikor epidemy , incessant and uncontrollable crime, and militancy. I thought the govement is meant to be the servant of the people and not the other way round. People wonder why there is armed robbers all over the place without actually taking stock of what policies the govement are dishing out to the people.
The Irony is that the stupid Governors that make such horrendous insensitive laws are not at the receiving end of men of the under-world, it is the innocent jobless citizens that feels the brunt.
The govement has no right to ban people's right to exist and fed for themselves. This is just an aesthetic law rather than a humane or altruistic one. I cannot agree with you less. Like I said earlier, banning these commercial cyclists is a cheap solution to whatever problem they cause. These people can be trained and retrained. And Government can put policies/rules in place to cub their excessiveness. But now the Governor is going to give more than 100,000 people reasons why they should become armed robbers and kidnappers. |

My friend, if you want to go to Saotome, go by air, dont endanger your life on the water. Visa can be issued to Nigerians on arrival (up to 3 months), you can also discuss with the airline you intend to use, they can help you secure visa in advance, 24hrs b4 departure. You also need to carry sufficient funds with you. |

Am just curious about what your cousin is going to do in that island. it's very small island under British overseas territories, close to Bahamas in West Indies. The population is about 35,000. Not a place for hustlers. Its mainly a tourist island. And it’s very far from Nigeria. So why Turks and Caicos? |
