There are many things to consider before buying any of Bugatti's Models. From having enough money to buy the Supercar (that ranges between $1.7m to $5.8m), to doing a compulsory annual $21,000 , 27 hours oil change whether it is driven or not , and finally, the $30,000 to $42,000 to replace old tyres every 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers).

How about renting one for $20,000?

Still expensive?

The CEO of Royalty Exotic Cars in US ,known for renting out expensive cars like Bugattis and Lamborghinis , explains the reasons why they charge alot to rent a Bugatti Veyron Mansory Edition ( which is readily available for $20,000 (including taxes) for just 24 hours or a complete day.

He told CNBC that :
“Our Bugatti Veyron Mansory Edition is priced the way it is because of the name behind the vehicle.

A Bugatti is not something you can walk into your local Enterprise or Hertz and rent.

The Bugatti depreciates at almost $1,500 per mile driven, which is why we limit the car to 100 miles per day. Putting a ton of miles on a Bugatti can kill the resale value and ultimately depreciate the car to nothing"

"We do not rent the Bugatti for recreational driving, but mostly for movie productions, photo shoots, trade shows and conventions"

He continued :
"We normally do not rent out the Bugatti to anyone that can walk in with $20,000 because there are many factors that play into the rental"

“Does the renter have proper insurance that will cover the actual cash value of this car? Does the renter have the wealth or resources to cover the Bugatti in case the insurance company decides to not pay?”

Well said!

If you have the money, would you drop $20,000 (that's about N7.3million , enough to buy a new Honda Civic or just add $3k for a new Toyota Camry) to cruise in a Bugatti Veyron for just 24 hours ?

Volkswagen, just like Daimler's Mercedes-Benz , has revealed a new headlights and taillights that will do more than just lighting up the road.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img921/3323/z3RFbA.jpg

The new lighting systems includes micro-pixel HD headlights with up to 30,000 light points and high-performance LED headlights that can actually create patterns on the road to communicate road information to the driver , which will further improve safety.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img921/9634/xYAT3W.jpg

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img924/1729/ztlwrH.jpg

The rear matrix taillights can also display warning messages to other drivers like path projections while parking or maneuvering.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img923/5326/8Ucf3w.jpg

Personalized messages like the vehicle’s charge level and traffic situations ahead can also be displayed.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img921/8755/TgcSoP.jpg

The IQ.Light currently available as an option on the new Touareg sports has a total of 256 LEDs that can light up the road for a range of up to 500 meters.

The "Optical Lane Assist” function project lanes in front of the Touareg to give the driver precise information about the width of the SUV and the distance to the road lane markings.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/7474/EqOnMX.jpg

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img923/4798/YgnOcs.jpg

Other concepts from Volkswagen includes panels placed on the front, side and rear of cars that displays alerts such as braking and accidents ahead.

These intelligent headlights are similar to what Mercedes-Benz revealed few months ago.

Our heartbeat influences our mood.Scientists studied this phenomenon when a man was fitted with a new heart. After the surgery, his mind, feelings, and actions changed in unusual ways.

9)To reduce the risk of a heart attack, you have to wake up slowly in the morning and reduce the intensity of evening workouts.

10)Coconut water is able to replace blood plasma thanks to their similar compositions.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/9274/ViHgcz.jpg
11)Blood groups may be a reason for divorce. Scientists have found out that there is a link between spouses’ blood types and the percentage of divorces. Thus, in the strongest couples, both people have O type. Couples who decide to divorce usually have such combinations: A + AB or A + O.

12)The blood type has an impact on our health. People with type O blood aren’t prone to cardiovascular diseases but they are more susceptible to developing skin cancer or obesity.

13)People with type A blood should pay attention to the level of cholesterol in their blood. They are at risk for coronary heart disease development.

14)Those with type B blood should remember that they’re prone to diabetes and pancreatic cancer.

15)People who have type AB blood should take care of their memory and concentration since chances of cognitive impairment in AB individuals are 82% higher than in other types.

16)Energy drinks change the way the heart beats. Scientists have found out that after drinking energy drinks, the amount of caffeine is up to 3 times higher than in other caffeinated drinks like coffee or soda. What’s more, they affect our heartbeat and may cause seizures or death.

17)Blood-type diets don’t work. Scientists from the University of Toronto have proved that special diets according to individuals’ blood type are a myth.

18)In Japan, there’s a special industry of goods for each blood type: food, cosmetic products, and personal care products.

19)https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img924/7793/7OqBDY.jpg
Athletic performance depends on one’s blood type. A study held in 2017 has shown that people with type O blood have better stamina than other types. Among elite water polo players, scientists haven’t found any people with type AB blood. But type O blood advantages work only if a person works out regularly.

20)https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img924/835/lrsHdW.jpg
Our character depends on our blood type.Scientists have found a connection between subjects’ characters and their blood types. In Japan, people believe that blood types influence people’s personality traits and their success at work and in personal relationships.

https://brightside.me/wonder-curiosities/20-facts-about-human-blood-we-didnt-know-about-625710/?utm_source=fb_brightside&utm_medium

We all know that our blood system is really complicated, that’s why it’s important to take care of your heart and know your blood type. Unfortunately, many people don’t know about all the opportunities of our body.

Bright Side has collected interesting scientific facts about our blood that you probably don’t know.

1)It would take 1,120,000 mosquitoes to drain all the blood from an adult human.

2)To make blood circulate, the heart creates such pressure that it can release a 30-ft-high stream of blood.

3)A human being can live without a pulse. In 2012, doctors installed a device in 55-year-old Craig Lewis’ body that allows blood to circulate throughout his body without a pulse.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img923/5543/bSn9r8.jpg
4)Stan Larkin lived 555 days without a heart, waiting to receive a transplant. His own heart was replaced with a device that Stain used to carry in his backpack. He could even play basketball.

5)The amount of blood that passes through the body in circulation in 25 days is approximately equal to a medium-sized swimming pool.

6)A person may lose 40% of their blood and still stay alive. Of course, a timely blood transfusion is needed.

7)21% of all heart attacks happen on Mondays. A second peak happens on Fridays. Scientists assume that the reason is an “outpouring” of stress hormones in the beginning of a week.

The owner? of a black Lamborghini Huracan Spyder abandoned his Supercar yesterday morning in Miami after crashing it into the back of a puckup.

Immediately after the accident ,he and his passenger jumped out of the Supercar and fled the scene in a friend's waiting Mercedes-Benz .

All the scenes were caught on a surveillance camera owned by a nearby shop. One of the shop's employee who was still in shock said
“That was really crazy. A Lamborghini is like a $300,000 car, how can you just leave it there"

It's still unclear why he fled the accident scene . Or maybe the ride was a stolen car?

The new owner of this bronze 2006 Lotus Elise (listed at $24,000 on eBay with just 68,406 miles on the odometer) purchased it with a salvage title.

Not because it had been in a major accident or flooding, but because of a tiny scratch on the right side of its front bumper ,that would've been cheaply fixed by a panel beater or by a bumper replacement at most on a normal car.

But the two-seat, rear-wheel drive  roadster is so special that even a tiny scratch on its giant fiberglass clamshell can be very expensive to repair .

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img921/5466/fLNUsm.jpg

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img924/8859/Add3Ik.jpg

The previous owner's body shop came back with a $19,000 repair estimate - that's about ₦6.9m, so his insurance company ended up buying the car from him for more than $33,000.

New clamshells cost more than $5000 or ₦1.8m (enough to buy a good Tokunbo car), and that's before the cost of the rare bronze paint and the labor to fix it - which can rise to at least $19,000 or about N6.9m repair estimate.

A Range Rover Sport has completed the first ever self-driving lap on one of the UK’s most challenging roads, the Coventry Ring Road.

The prototype self-driving Range Rover Sport with features like the navigation sensors, RADAR and LIDAR , can now autonomously handle roundabouts, traffic lights, pedestrians, cyclists, change lanes, merge with traffic and exit junctions at the speed limit of 40mph. It can also park itself.

But why on Coventry road?
Jaguar Land Rover Autonomous Vehicle Research Manager said :

“The Coventry Ring Road is known for its complicated slip roads and exits. It makes for very challenging conditions, especially when under pressure in the rush hour"

“Our self-driving car is not impacted by the same pressure, frustrations or fatigue that a driver may experience and so it’s capable of turning a potentially very stressful situation into a completely stress-free one"

This test is part of the £20 million "UK Autodrive" government-funded project which ends this month after a three-year programme.

So No hands No problem on any kind of roads with this futuristic self-driving Range Rover sport...

Cars will now be banned in every first Sunday of every month in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissements (city of Paris is divided into twenty arrondissements municipaux).

The move is part of the French capital’s Paris Respire initiative which is already in place in several parts of the city.

Pedestrians and those on bikes, scooters and rollerblades will be permitted into the city centre from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening.

Some exceptions will be made for delivery vans, taxis, repairmen, carers and those attending a religious service with their cars - but they must obey a 20km/h speed limit.

This is the 20,000 pounds Beast limo driving backwards and drifting through track corners at a very high speed .

At first glance, the video looks so real. But the shape of the armoured Cadillac Limo ( check the old and new limo) and the sound of the engine are probably the biggest giveaways that the clip is not real.

The above footage is a clips from the 2015 Forza Motorsport 6 racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One.

Cristiano Ronaldo has "vanished" from the online branding for Fifa19 following a historic rape allegation.

The Juventus forward featured prominently in the internet advertising for the wildly popular footie game.

But he has recently disappeared from the social media promotions for the game as well as from banner pictures on EA Sports' website.

Ronaldo has featured on the cover of the Fifa franchise for the last two years.

Earlier and EA spokesperson told Reuters: "We have seen the concerning report that details allegations against Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We are closely monitoring the situation, as we expect cover athletes and ambassadors to conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with EA's values."

Fellow sponsor Nike also said they were "concerned" about the allegations and were "closely monitoring the situation".

The 33-year-old was the highest-paid athlete in the world for the second straight year in 2017 pocketing £70m - including £25m in mega licensing deals.

Big name sponsors clearly recognise the value Ronaldo brings to the table which is why Nike signed him up for a lifetime deal at the end of 2016 reportedly worth $1billion (£760m).

Ronaldo has been accused of sexually assaulting Kathryn Mayorga in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.

The star has vehemently denied the allegations saying: "I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me.

"Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in."

American model Mayorga claims the £100million Juventus star raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room when she was 25 and working in Rain nightclub inside the Palms Casino Resort.

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United fans will agree that the tenth place on the premier league -after 7 games - is not where The Red Devils want to be .

Numbers show that under fire Man Utd striker Lukaku, who hasn't scored for five games, has cover the least ground (with 9.06km) of all his team-mates with similar game time.

Rival forwards such as Harry Kane ,Firmino and Chelsea's Eden Hazard runs an average of 10.15km,11.14km and 10.35km per Premier League game respectively.

But this stat has not stopped the £220,000-a-week striker from flaunting his brand's new supercars

Incredible footage captures three brave boys fighting a huge boa constrictor that is trying to kill their dog.

The youngsters use sticks and a metal table leg to wrestle with the reptile after it wrapped itself around their pet's lower body and hind legs.

But the clip shows the snake repeatedly clench its jaws and tighten its vice-like grip around the dog.

Eventually, the boys unravel the monster serpent off the pooch who is seen running free.

The older boy holds the writhing snake up by its head at the end of the 21-second clip.

It is unclear where or when the dramatic footage was filmed but it has been widely shared online this week.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img924/2152/uct02P.jpg

Many lauded the boys' bravery.

One social media user wrote: "The poor dog - he was absolutely terrified. Well done those children!"

Another viewer posted: "The things we would do for our furry friends, very brave of the lads, delighted to see the dog escaped unharmed."

And a third posted: "Well done to the people saving the lovely dog! Hope he's recovered well."

Some even called for the boys to be rewarded for their heroics.

"Amazing video. Those kids should get recognition for their bravery and the love they've shown to their dog," the Facebook user said.

Boa constrictors, often found in North and South America, can reach lengths of up to 13ft.

They ambush their prey, including large birds, bats, lizards and rodents.
