A Canadian man (who wished to remain anonymous as the Insurance Bureau of Canada might file a fraudulent claim against him if they find out ), who resides in Alberta ,has told the CBC how he legally became a woman to save $1,100 CAD ($841 USD or ₦303,734) annually.

The whole episode started when the then 23 year old wanted to buy a Chevrolet Cruze. He contacted his insurance agent to know how much insurance would cost.

Since he had an accident and a ticket or two on his record, the agent told him his insurance would be around $4,500 CAD ($3,441 USD or ₦1,242,550) annually. Out of curiosity, he then asked how much it would cost if he was a woman.

The agent told him it would be around $3,400 CAD ($2,600 USD or ₦938,816) if he was a woman.

He then asked his insurance company to change his gender to female, but the agent refused.

He told CBC:
"I was pretty angry about that. And I didn't feel like getting screwed over any more"

After a little research on how to become a woman legally,he discovered all he needed was a note from a doctor saying he identifies him as a woman instead of a man.

After getting the note from the doctor which allowed him change his gender on his birth certificate and driver’s license , the man is now saving around $91 CAD ($69 USD) a month on insurance.

The man who was aware that the method he used was meant for people who needed to change their gender to reflect who they really were, said his intention was to beat the obscure insurance policy system, and not to attack gender diversity.

He said :
"I didn't do it to point out how easy it is to change genders"

Last week, 26 year old Adam Campion was jailed for 21 months at Nottingham Crown Court after admitting five counts of dangerous driving with a stolen motorbike. He also pleaded guilty to assisting an offender in the retention of stolen goods.

Police found the heart-stopping footage of his reckless driving on his laptop while carrying out an arrest warrant at his home in September 2016 after discovering a plate number in the boot of an abandoned car linking him to the stolen motorbike.

Detectives used forensic facial recognition which identified him as the reckless rider in the 189mph video despite him wearing a crash helmet.

In one of the videos,he was driving one-handed while filming his speed with a phone , which topped 189mph with the other hand .

A mother duck has been captured in a set of adorable pictures caring for no less than 76 ducklings – and despite the size of the brood, her feathers remain unruffled.

The remarkable images of the common mergansers were captured by Brent Cizek at Lake Bemidji, in Northern Minnesota, the photographer’s home state.

The 32-year-old told MailOnline Travel: ‘From what I've been told, this is a common practice among common mergansers.

‘Mergansers will dump their eggs into multiple nests, so when they incubate they have eggs from other mothers in the same nest.

‘However, they can only incubate up to 20 eggs. So while some of these chicks may be hers, it's not possible for all of them to be from her.

‘She likely picked them up from other mothers when the ducklings got separated and it's also possible that she is caring for all of the babies on the lake.

At first Mr Cizek counted 50 ducklings in tow, then on another trip to the lake he counted 76. In one picture he managed to capture 56 ducklings following the mother.

The yet to be unveiled Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (Superveloce Jota) has set the lap record for production cars at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, in a lap time of 6m 44.97s.

The new time record set by the upcoming Aventador SVJ at the 20.6 km track is over two seconds quicker than the previous record of 6m 47.3s set by Porsche 911 GT2 RS last year September.

Volkswagen owned Bugatti announced today that the $3m Chiron hypercar is now available to order with Sky View glass roof option that improves headroom by 1.06 inches.

Bugatti came up with the Sky View design because it doesn't intend to build an open-roof variant of the 1480hp Chiron supercar.

NASA once fed spiders drugs like LSD and marijuana and then watched as the stoned bugs made "deformed" webs.

The space agency published the results of its bizarre experiment in 1995 – and they were as fascinating as you'd expect.

You can see the abstract creations below, including webs weaved by spiders high on marijuana, LSD, caffeine and chloral hydrate.

"The more toxic the chemical," wrote the researchers in their paper, "the more deformed a web looks in comparison with a normal web."

They then quantified the alterations in each web using statistical tools and image processors to test the impact of different chemicals on spiders.

Spiders given low doses of LSD – a class A drug in the UK that can land you up to seven years in prison for possession – made more geometrically regular patterns than when they were sober.

The same can't be said for the creepy crawlies given the other drugs.

This stoned spider seems to have given up on its web halfway through.

Nasa said the spiders who sampled the drug were easily sidetracked while building and left their webs unfinished.

The spiders fed chloral hydrate gave up on their webs even faster than the ones who'd had a little cannabis.

That may be because the chemical is a sedative that's used for the short-term treatment of insomnia in humans.

The webs they made were characterised by disorganised cells and a lack of the normal "hub and spoke" pattern, according to Mental Floss.

Surprisingly, scientists have been getting spiders intoxicated since the late '40s.

Back in 1948, zoologist H.M. Peters had been staying up all night in an effort to research the web-spinning abilities of orb-web spiders.

He then roped in pharmacologist Peter N. Witt to help him find a solution.

It was Witt who decided to feed the spiders sugar water spiked with caffeine, mescaline, amphetamine, LSD or strychnine - a toxic chemica used in pesticides -  in an effort to make them weave at a different time of the day.

NASA replicated Witt's original study in 1995 and found similar results. The only difference was the astronomers used house spiders as part of their analysis and modern computing tools to dissect the outcome.

Lamborghini celebrates making its 11,000th Huracan, a Monterey blue colored car, for a customer in Italy and it's 8,000th Aventador , an Aventador S Roadster in  Grigio Telesto gray color for a customer in Japan.

The V12 engine Aventador's milestone was achieved after seven years of its introduction while the Huracan took just four years of production to reach this number.

The companies worldwide deliveries increased by 11 per cent to 2,327 cars in the first half of 2018.

Lamborghini ended the production of Gallardo, the Huracan's predecessor, after the 14,022th car rolled off the assembly line in November 2013.

Lamborghini has now confirmed a new supercar, the Aventador successor is under development.

Brazilian police force just released this bloody CCTV footage from a nearby surveillance camera that happened in early May between a cop and two thieves.

From the short clips, two thieves, 18 year old Pablo Pereira Gomes and 22 year old Lucas Matos de Oliveira were trying to steal a bike from the guy (an undercover police officer ,name not released for security reasons) who just dropped off his girlfriend .

He was still sitting on his Kawasaki Ninja motorbike when one of the thieves approached him with a gun.

He dismounted his bike and lay on the ground as he was told, prompting other robber to approach and hopped on the bike .

As he was about to zoom off with his accomplice, they were temporarily blinded by the lights of an oncoming bus which was the distraction the police needed to take out his own gun.

He shot several times at them with bullets hitting Gomes in the groin.He died minutes later while his partner in crime ,Oliveira ,was also shot several times in the abdomen but still managed to escape . 

He was later arrested and taken to a nearby hospital where the bullets were surgically removed from his abdomen.

About 450 luxury BMW's worth £11m (about N5.2b in naira) were damaged beyond repair when a huge pile of sand was blown over them near a construction site in Germany.

Around 4000 UK bound luxury BMWs were parked next to the construction site that housed a huge pile of sand near a port town in northern Germany.

The remaining 3,500 luxury cars were serviced and checked by a Southampton Cargo Handling.
The company ,tasked with cleaning as many as 30 cars a day between April and June ,removed sand from air filters and alternators.

"A flat matte paint job for these cars costs around £20,000 , they are that expensive.

"Around 4,000 cars were covered by big mountains of sand .Many were scrapped costing BMW a small fortune.
