Politics › Re: How Jonathan, Wike Blocked Rivers State From Taking Delivery Of Two Helicopters by OBAGADAFFI: 11:05am On Jan 30, 2017
SamiraF:
I am very happy that Former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has taken such pains to detail his role in this helicopter matter. I hope Buhari, Osinbajo and EFCC, SFU, Police, Army and DSS are reading Amaechi's statement, which should be adopted as the chargesheet of his criminality and corruption.

Amaechi says ONSA contributed half of the cost of the 2 helicopters, that half being $15 million dollars.

The helicopters have been bought and imported, Nigerians can only assume, at the total cost of $30 million dollars.

Amaechi says that Goodluck Jonathan granted duty waiver.

Nigeria customs at Sahcol insists that the importer (Amaechi) paid duty of N11.8 billion naira.

The only incontrovertible fact here is that current Rivers State Governor Wike is not in possession of the true details since he is not the importer. Amaechi has admitted that he is in material fact the importer.

Can Aviation Minister Rotimi Amaechi please tell Nigerians how 2 Bell Helicopters manufactured in 2012, at a cost of $6 million dollars each became $15 million dollars each by the time he bought them?

Can Amaechi tell Nigerians what happened to the sum of N11.8 billion naira that he took from Rivers State Government coffers ostensibly as duty payments, for these 2 Bell Helicopters which he now admits he obtained duty waiver for?

For any doubting thomas that Amaechi looted Rivers State dry, every helicopter has a chassis number like a car. The 2 helicopters in question that are now impounded at Murtala Mohammed Airport can be tracked in detail.

Bell Helicopter 412EP, Chassis Number 36606 was manufactured in 2012, registered to Africair in Miami Florida - http://www.helis.com/database/cn/46148/

Bell Helicopter 412EP, Chassis Number 36608 was manufactured in 2012, registered to Africair in Miami Florida - http://www.helis.com/database/cn/46149/

Amaechi must account for the illicit profit of $18 million dollars he pocketed from claiming the helicopters cost $30 million dollars when in fact they cost $12 million dollars.

Amaechi must also account for the duty sum he removed from Rivers even though he knew the helicopters had duty waiver. In 2013/14, Amaechi would have converted that so called duty sum of N11.8 billion naira at CBN rate of around N160 to 1 dollar, that is $73.7 million dollars at the prohibitive duty that was actually waived. Customs has confirmed seeing documents for n11.8bn duty with no end-user certificate.

18 million dollars and 73.7 million dollars has disappeared in this Amaechi's sole trader of helicopters importation scam.

Nigerians are not blind, Amaechi must refund the $91.7 million dollars he stole in only 1 transaction.
Well well

A leader should be wise in his actions. I can see everyone lauding his action without looking at any possibility of problem that may occur in the country as a result of his actions. If Gambians (majority) are satisfied with this then no problem. However, if they are not, then he just started political, religious war in that country.
What religious war are you talking about.

It's diplomatic move to change the perceptions about the country.

Customs did not lie about the buyer!

Infact, the Customs Boss (intentionally or otherwise) said They are YET TO IDENTIFY THE IMPORTER!

It would have been considered a "lie" if Mr. A imported it and the Customs said it was imported by Mr. B.

Customs did not even mention Amaechi's name anywhere in its interview.

BTW: Why is everyone keep mentioning Amaechi as the Importer when the Report put forward by Amaechi said it was a 'Joint Venture' between the River State Govt and private Oil Companies in the State?

Lastpage!
Ogbeni Lastpage,

Denial is also form lying.

That Chopper has been with the Costoms for over one year, and they are dynig not knowing the owners, abba!

So you agree that the choppers were imported by Rivers state government under Amaechi.

Whether it's JV with other oil coys, the government should have started the true pictures of everything before coming to press.

Instead of creating the impression some criminals illegally imported Choppers into the country.

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport Command of the Nigerian Customs Service on Friday handed over two seized civil model Bell helicopters imported into the country by unknown persons to the Nigeria

You can see that the same aircraft was referred to as civil model and not armourd.

And where was it written that Col. Ali said so?

All i saw was NCS which is generic and not a spokeperson of NCS.

Even the guy who's name was witheld for whatever reason didn't know it was a military aircraft.
He described the handover as a milestone as the configuration of the aircraft was fitted for military combat operations.

He said the handover had presidential approval adding that all legal issues had also been considered.
CUSTOMS NAF SEIZED

If the Presidency is involved in the transfer, how would Col. Ali not be involved.

For you to claim Wike can bribe the costoms officer to make that comment, shows you don't know how govement NDA operate.

And u believed it? Smh!

Even Wike can pay that customer officer to say what he said so he can counter the claim just to make PMB a liar.

As long as it was not from Garba Shehu or any of the spokepersons in the presidency. It is null
Just listen to yourself, how will Wike bribe Col .Ali to lie.

The customs claimed an unknown person imported Helicopter in the country and you believe them.
And they created the impression the unknown person is criminal.
Are criminals now unknown on Nigeria?

Why dont you just STFU!

Customs have transferred (by OUTRIGHT SEIZURE, which is what you are trying to avoid........ while playing "hold-in-custody" games with the Airforce!) the title of the helicopters to Nig Airforce, so whay all the noise?

or is that not what you said you want? grin

That Wike thinks he is smart but he has just been out-smarted.

Now, the Choppers belong to the Airforce! Not Wike or Rivers State anymore.
tongue tongue undecided undecided

Lastpage!

NB: Most people commenting here have no idea the kind of games Wike is playing with the Airforce, Customs and the FG.
he said he wrote that the Choppers be "given" to the Airforce..... It has been given to the Airforce, so WHY IS HE SO AGITATED AS TO BE SENDING US ALL THESE RECIEPTS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS... when "buyer" was not the issue? grin
Because the costoms lied about the buyer, Ameachi.

All of u calling and Shouting APC this and APC that should be ashamed of urselves for lacking common sense.

Was it the presidency that released a statement that the importers of the helicopters did not show up to claim it or some of ur colleagues who go about spreading falsehood online?

Was the request of Wike not implemented?

U laxy asses stay behind ur phones to spew nonsense.

A simple directive from Wike was implemented to the letter and u want Garba Shehu to give statement?

Wike knows too well that the aircrafts were meant for the Air Force which they ( GEJ, Wike and Dasuki) did not allow Ameachi to bring them into the country because politics.

So, why is he trying to take delivery of the same aircraft he worked against and denied access into the country?
That is not what the customs guys told Nigerians.

Wike came on board and tried to collect them and was asked to pay the demurage and due to his lack of vision decided to forfeit it to FG

Just the way he refused to acknowledge Amaechi so also is the FG not acknowledging him.

Pretty nice to see someone using Technical Analysis to trade the Nigerian market.

Permit me to kindly inform you that the 200 DMA might not mean much. I strongly recommend that you use the 260 DMA.

Why 260 DMA? There are 52 trading weeks in one year and 5 trading days per week.

Therefore finding the Daily Moving Average over 260 days (periods) makes more meaning than using 200 DMA.

Hope this helps?

Find time to attend our webinar at 11 am local time today.

Thanks!
Are you surprised.

Most traders here use both Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis on stocks.

Only time will justify that! For the various investor.Shorterm or longterm.if a company is healthy, the term "trapped" is not reconcilable. Profit is relatively the eminent goal, a function of time.
