chigoizie7: Well, he brought out the phones to a "stranger" to inspect with hopes that he will buy, only for the stranger to zaap/zoom with the phones without paying, and then HE( the sales boy) raised an alarm. Without that alarm, no one would know that this guy wanted to leave with the phones he has not paid for.
The sales boy can easily say that he asked him to bring another phone so as to compare(color, price, features etc) and the moment he turned, the thief was no where to be found and he raised alarm. Now how does that make the boy an accomplice? Oga, I feel say na your shop the guy come collect those phones? You can't just bring out Iphone7 and leave them with the stranger to inspect, the sales boy must be the one to show the buyer every information about phones, that's his job. Most stMerchandisers won't even allow you touch the phone Can he walk into slot and try that nonsense. That sales boy is also a suspect here. |
Celebrities › Re: Seun Egbegbe: "I Was Accused Of Stealing IPhones & Beaten Up". Police Reacts by OBAGADAFFI: 10:52pm On Nov 22, 2016 |
chigoizie7: Yes, not standard receipts, even those ones that are collected from neighbours, was it issued to him?
My point is, u are not meant to leave a shop with goods u have not paid for. Without a written agreement, and Ee come be ontop iphone7 matter? Bros chill, that guy na thief. Oga, that's why that sale boy is also a suspect here, how do you bring out Iphone 7s from your shelves and hand it to a stranger. Without any documentation. Most shops in Computer village, keeps their phones in locked Shelves. For the boy to hand him those phones and still trace him to his car, something is wrong. |
Celebrities › Re: Seun Egbegbe: "I Was Accused Of Stealing IPhones & Beaten Up". Police Reacts by OBAGADAFFI: 10:33pm On Nov 22, 2016 |
chigoizie7: Even @ that, u don't leave the shop till a receipt is issued, detailing the conditions of sales/transactions.
He didn't give the boy shi shi, even if he did, he didn't collect receipt to show that he has paid half, and then went to bring the remaining half. Even for the advanced payments, u go leave the product for the shops, specially reserved for u, then u go for ur balance and then take ur products.
Even in that ur America, there must be a form of collateral. Once u bought with a "credit", u are Covered, please tell me, which part of that ur USA do a customer pay with cash, half payment and then leave with the goods? No form of receipts or any form of collateral?
Nwanne, bikoe kwuo ihe ima From this story that shop is not a standard sales outlet like Slot, or MicroStation. @ slot, must pay before even touching the phones. But Some of these substandard sales outlets in Ikeja don't even issue proper payment receipt, thats you see them collecting receipt booklets from the neighbors. |
Celebrities › Re: Seun Egbegbe: "I Was Accused Of Stealing IPhones & Beaten Up". Police Reacts by OBAGADAFFI: 10:26pm On Nov 22, 2016 |
chigoizie7: There is no single way that man can prove his innocence, lie lie.
What will u tell the judge? That u went outside the shop, probably far from the shop, to ur car, to get money, while holding the phones u have not paid for? For crying out loud, u are not meant to leave the stands, with the goods u haven't paid for.
Had it been, he was still inside the shop, this for be different, this guy left the shop with morethan 1phone, chai reason am na.
There is no way u can convince anyone that u didn't steal d phones.
Is it because an alarm was raised? What if he bolted with the phone? Who for know him? Oga, Cool down. You can't just walk into a shop in computer village a pickup phones, because this phone are kept in glass shelves Depending on your agreement with the shop owner, you can leave the shop with goods and pay latter. So, why did the boy give him the phone, and what was their agreement? |

perryy: Even in heaven , he can't win this case . He is a confirmed thief . A check ran on his car showed that there was no balance in the car to even pay for a single iPhone .
How do u win such a case in USA.? And how did you know this. Did the sales boy, talked about advance payment before giving him the Phones. |
Celebrities › Re: Seun Egbegbe: "I Was Accused Of Stealing IPhones & Beaten Up". Police Reacts by OBAGADAFFI: 9:54pm On Nov 22, 2016 |
bettercreature: And who does that? allowing customer to go with the goods and come back with the balance Lots of shop owners sell on credit to customers its noting new. But we need to know if he actually paid the boy before picking the Phones. It's strange to move Phones worth 200k out of the shop unhindered. |

While Seun said he wanted to pick money from his vehicle to balance the payment based on agreement with the sales boy.
Did he pay the boy some money before picking the phones?
He needs to show evidence that he paid the boy, before talking about balance |

Truth234: CBN implemented card restriction recently because of frivolous spending of some Nigerians abroad. Spending above the stipulated limit, these habits hurt our foreign reserves as the cbn needs to use it to offset these payments.
If FG needs $30 billion to help augment foreign reserves and stimulate the economy, imagine what idle $20 billion can do. Stop using the word "frivolous ", that money do not belong to the government . And government don't have any business touching the $20 billion. And if the government insists on this policy, brace up for total collapse of the banking sector. |

Family › Re: John Edobor Caught In Bed With Another Lady (Pics) by OBAGADAFFI: 1:19pm On Nov 18, 2016 |
Pennywise: Emeka Ugwuonye may be a lawyer but in this write up, he plays the role of an amateur fictionist.
I don't know him from Adam but it is regrettable he had to resort to desperate measures to clean up a discredited, morally fetid and repugnant client (he is clearly playing the role of her lawyer, whether he has her brief or not).
He has blackmailed Zenith bank into unjustly sacking an employee who may yet be innocent at the end of the day. Whose only crime apparently now is marrying the wrong woman.
Emeka Ugwuonye with the DPA in tow is free to upgrade the charges to murder if it suits them. But they still have to prove their case in court.
The evidence in public domain reveals that Ivie and John still carried on as man and wife even while living apart. Ivie while still married to John carried on with an amorous affair while confessing she had changed.
Thankfully no life was lost in the face of this extreme provocation of a helpless man. It would seem his motive for being present at the scene is to tell Ivie that I have caught u again in spite of your numerous assurances u have changed.
The violence that ensued in the presence of the equally morally depraved lover becomes a footnote.
If John was actually responsible for her injury and wanted her dead, he would aim for her head and not her leg. The incident there for could not have been more than a mere accident caused by a perpetually adulterous wife and a thief.
The public will expect any reasonable Judge to understand this.
John has simply suffered enough. He is the true victim here. Ivie is every prospective man's nightmare. She wrecks everything she touch. From airtel, to starcomm to STANBIC IBTC. They all check out. Her business? Double check. Her marriages? check. Matthews marriage? Check.
Ivie makes a very bad case for use as a domestic abuse victim.
There are many truly innocent ones suffering silently.
Attn: Lalasticlala,mynd44, OAM4J. I am even shocked that a Lawyer wrote that article. The other(John) presented evidence(receipt e.t.c) to backup his claims. But this Lawyer is acting only hearsay. |
