Romance › Re: Womens English Translation by obailala(m): 1:23pm On Jul 08, 2008
@ mekaboy
the girls behavior is perfectly normal for most girls especially in school.

She's trying to play smart on u but it took u less than 24 hrs and less than N1000 to figure out her game. This shows that, she's not just cheap, but also immature and inexperienced in the game. Real smart girls can build an empire out of a man's pocket witout the man noticing that they are playing him mugu.

Girls like this can easily fall if u decide to set a bait for them with big money; u get everything u want from her by only flashing big money at her face and then tactfully keep your money back (u've got to be smart to do this, else, u would be her biggest MUGU).

I personally like girls like this wink cheesy

Romance › Re: Will You Ever Date An Ex Girl Friend /boyfriend Again? by obailala(m): 2:41pm On Jun 26, 2008
There's absolutely nothing wrong with dating an ex. It all depends on the reason for separation.

We could have parted ways to find better partners and after our search, we realise we are best for each other. so whats

wrong if we come back together,,, ehh?
Romance › Re: Can't Nigerian Guys Do It For Free? by obailala(m): 2:29pm On Jun 26, 2008
WOMEN! WOMEN!! WOMEN!!!

If the man does not help, he is not a gentleman.

If he helps you, he wants something in return.

If he does not ask for your contact details, you will begin to ask yourselves why is he not showing interest in me? Am I not beautiful and attractive enough.
some girls actually ask for the favour just to be noticed by the guys. I've personally experienced this. Guys also do this alot.

When a girl goes to a guy for a favour, the guy may just ask for her details just to please her (incase that's what she wanted). I do this but most times, i end up not calling or visiting afterwards.

Secondly, what if the girl was a really attractive chick, this could be my lucky day (this comes to d mind of most guys). What do u expect me to do?? sit back and act a gentleman?? no way!!

I understand how u girls feel wen guys want to take advantage of ur slightest misfortune; next time, if d guy doesnt look reasonable enough, give him wrong details.
Nairaland General › Re: Let's Use Good English On This Forum by obailala(m): 3:35am On Jun 10, 2008
All these people talking so much shit about "english being the most widely understood language," THIS IS NAIRALAND,

a place where basically nigerians meet. More people in nigeria understand and can communicate better in pidgen english

than english. It is the preferred language in Nigeria for gisting, yabing etc.

Good english sounds too formal and boring and should be left for official business and schools.

Kids or anyone whosoever that wants to learn english should go to the library and pick up some english literature.

Leave nairaland for real Nigerians!!!

Romance › Re: Why Is It That Everybody Cheats In A Relationship? Even You! by obailala(m): 8:35pm On Jun 09, 2008
When one has no girl, its very difficult to get laid.

When one has a girl, all the other girls(including d ones dat previously said no) would start flocking around. Temptation rises and we cheat.
Romance › Re: Why Is It That Everybody Cheats In A Relationship? Even You! by obailala(m): 8:33pm On Jun 09, 2008
MEN,,, its in our nature to cheat!!! grin

I blame d girls for this. Most girls admire guys dat already hav girlfriends. (to he dat has, more would be given).
Career › Re: My Boss Wants To Sleep With Me by obailala(m): 7:24pm On May 24, 2008
Too bad for you. you are quite unfortunate.

1) Refuse to sleep with her = you lose your job
2) Sleep with her = you still lose your job

The logic is simple, if u resist her advances, she devices a way to kick u out (in order to save her face);
if u get down with her (to save your job), she will definitely come back for more, when u get tired of the whole game (after several occasions) and decide to stop, she finds a way to kick u out (to still save her face).

My advice:
(1) If u are the randy type, have fun, see what u can get out of her, then leave. wink
(2) If u are the decent type, Leave the establishment and also, just like coo_pedro said, don't forget to remind her that u are leaving because of her. good luck embarassed

TV/Movies › Re: What Nollywood Films Are Known For? by obailala(m): 11:28am On May 10, 2008
Most Nigerian movies are tragedies, people are always dying (even when their death has no relevance to the story). Are these movies meant to be entertaining or what?, are we trying to tell the world that in nigeria, we derive pleasure in seeing people die? it is only in nigeria movies that every important character in the cast dies and the producers happily release such a movie into the market.

i wouldnt blame the producers for the poor production, its because of the terrible situation of piracy in the country and they have to save their money else, they wouldnt break even,, but i blame them for accepting poor stories. i wonder if i'm the only one that hates these stories. people always die, people are always crying. all important characters in a movies die and the film ends, isnt that disgusting. this is common wit most movies. (especially the ones shown on african magic)

Movies are meant to be for entertainment and educational purposes,, but nollywood stories tend to concentrate on education,, they always remind us of the harsh realities of the nigerian society,, I hate nollywood movies simply because, "they are all real life tragedies"
Food › Re: Your Worst Cooking Mistake Ever! by obailala(m): 11:09am On May 10, 2008
I asked my brother to put the ingredients i had already prepared into the stew i was cooking,, I didnt know he also added salt (cos i didnt ask him to), I came back and unknowingly added another round of salt,, the effect was sooo bad, we had to prepare another equal sized pot of stew without salt to balance the equation, , it wasnt still ok,,, We had to empty the whole 2 pots of stew in the bush (to conceal the disaster) and start afresh.

Business › Re: Which Bank Is The Most Customer Friendly In Nigeria? by obailala(m): 1:28pm On Mar 11, 2008
I wouldn't know which bank to choose as the best. I think, most post consolidation banks have good services depending on the branch one visits but i would like to state my worst banks,
1. UBA (costumer unfriendliness)
2. UNION (system is always down)
3. ,

I also hate Zenithbank for their arrogance. Could you believe that even the gate men could insult you? yes it happened to me @ warri when i was denied entry to make a deposit of 130k simply because i arrived 10 minutes after closing hour. Even their pretty girls there are so saucy. I wonder if that's what they were taught in their training 'cos i've noticed the attitude in different branches
