helinues:That's a valid point... Never underestimate the power of bullion vans in the determination of election results ![]() Let's see how it goes |
helinues:Bros!!! You dey here ? ![]() How market? ![]() Wetin happen to APC for Osun even with the presence of Jagaban? ![]() |
This is exactly what will happen nationwide if elections are allowed to be free and fair but alas we all know that won't be the case... |
Many social media outlets have published links between Shettima and Kabiru Sokoto/BH as their shelter and mentor Now here comes this report alleging Sokoto tried to kidnap Shettima's children. Which report is true? Is it possible this second story is propaganda from the BAT team to launder Shettima's image in this political season or is this actually the truth? Your guess is as good as mine! |
Jack500:I am not surprised you responded like the agbero that you are. It's people like you that can only stand at bus stop and be demanding for owo mi da or to go and do omonile work. Simple rational discussion you cannot engage like an educated adult. It's not surprising that is why you have been given pittance to sell your birthright to your slavemaster. Which of Rivers or Delta has been a federal capital for 100years I'm wondering if the Igbo you take will enable you know the answer to that simple question. |
Jack500:Lagos is what it is today due to its history as a port city and administrative hub for Nigeria from the 1800s down till the early 90s when Fct was made the capital due to its central location in Nigeria. It's not prosperous because of just Yorubas but because of Nigerians from every state who migrated to then economic/administrative center of Nigeria in terms of jobs and opportunities. Call up a list of all the billionaires in Lagos state currently and compare the ratio of Yorubas to none Yorubas and tell me who stands to lose more if non Yorubas choose to leave and refuse to patronise goods from Lagos. We should stop stoking all these useless racist cards. I'm Yoruba but we have to tell ourselves the truth. APC has no basis campaigning for 2023 with the current state of the country. Insecurity is at unprecedented levels such that people are afraid to even travel freely on our roads for fear of kidnappings, terrorists can brazenly stroll to our Federal Prisons right in the nation's capital and operate for over 2 hours and get away Scot free without any resistance, the economy is in a woeful state with dollar galloping up everyday, petrol is scarce, ASUU has been on strike for over 5 months and our children are wasting away at home, people are selling all they have to travel out, our youth have now embraced yahoo and hookup to survive and you are here talking rubbish because you have been given peanuts Shame on You!!! |
The truth of the matter is that Lagos State is in a stranglehold of Bondage and it is going to take a herculean collective effort by the citizens of Lagos to outst the APC agbero slavery mechanism which they want to replicate in 2023 at national level but God no go gree for them. |
We live in very interesting times... If elections were rational in this country, Obi would win by a country mile because he is without doubt the best candidate for the position. He is exactly what Nigeria needs right now to get us back on the right track. I wish him the best but unless he is able to form some significant political alliances with some key power groups (Wike, Amaechi, Kwakwanso, Disgruntled APC Christians) I sadly don't see Nigerians voting him in unless a miracle happens. Perhaps if the electronic voting works and rigging/voter intimidation is reduced to the barest minimum he may stand a chance. I doubt it though... Just look at what happened to Osinbajo. That was another eminently qualified Nigerian who if given the opportunity could have made a difference but well you know how that went. But we know that unfortunately many Nigerians are unenlightened which is what the APC has used to win previous elections along ethno-religious lines and of course by rigging and intimidation of voters. Unfortunately I don't see this strategy changing in the next election for APC. They obviously failed woefully in delivering on their campaign promises of Change and next level in the last 2 dispensations so they don't have any credible base to base a manifesto on. They cannot go the propaganda route this time as the Nigerian Youths are wiser now so this time around it is strictly politicking that they are relying on to stock religious and racist embers and engage in massive voter/influencer buying. I wish Nigerians were wiser but unfortunately even with hunger in their belly they will prefer to vote in their brother or who their Imam told them to vote for better still if given monetary incentives. Perhaps the worst thing BAT could have done is to disenfranchise Nigerian Christians by going for a Muslim Muslim ticket but it is a calculated risk being that Christians in Nigeria are unfortunately not as United as Muslims otherwise Atiku would have won by a country mile. Time will tell if this greedy and insensitive decision will turn out to be a stroke of genius or not come 2023. As things stand, BAT has the best chance of winning if elections are not free and fair as he has shown he is desperate enough to win the election by any means possible. Atiku would have stood the best chance of fighting BAT but he stupidly shot himself in the foot by choosing a weak VP candidate who cannot deliver Rivers, Maybe Bayelsa, Edo is fully obidient now, perhaps Delta though Omo Agege may have something to say about that. So the PDPs chances have been severely weakened by Atikus choices which have divided the party. However, if they get their act together, he stands a good chance of winning the north and a good percentage of APC Christians who are now disenchanted by the Muslim Muslim ticket. He still wields significant influence in the North and has the money to rig the elections but let's see how it goes. |
proff010:All you know is nothing... |
CommonSense1967:Respond to the points raised and stop ranting like you have taken Igbo and loud combined |
Jungleluv5:Stop playing the ethnic card. You went to school Sir and I'm sure you won't want to send your child to a school run by a fraudster and a cheat. Secondly the problem at hand is not a Yoruba issue but a Nigerian issue as the candidate in question is not running for President of Odua Republic but the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
Tareq1105:You are the one who is half educated. How can a party that has failed Nigerians so woefully in every aspect of life shamelessly present another candidate claiming things will be different? is it not normal to patronise a business on past experience or good testimonials? Would you go to back to eat at a restaurant where you were served bad food because the owner wants to hand over the business to her daughter ![]() |
CommonSense1967:Well spoken like the true child street urchin that you are who can only make valid arguements via insults. Whatever your allegations are against Obi, stop hiding behind your keyboard and take him to court and let the court find him guilty or otherwise. At the very least compile your 'evidence' against Obi and petition the IGP to arrest and prosecute him if you dare to put your money where your mouth is. That is exactly what is being done in this case against Tinubu. I'm sure this is too much for an agbero like you to understand as you have sold conscience and sense to the highest bidder for a plate of agoin beans and agege bread like Esau. ![]() |
CommonSense1967:How does this change the fact that BAT lied under oath claiming to attend schools he didn't attend and forging their certificates? Leave ethnic sentiment aside and check your conscience. Are you saying that it's Ok to vote in a liar and fraudster? |
Most of these projects were done by Akpabio. Yes he stole money which made him cross carpet to APC but truth be told he transformed the state. Same cannot be said for Udom whose only landmark achievement is Ibom Air. Ilaumoh: |
Maxymilliano:STFU... What do you know about law ![]() |
Oh Boy!! What a league!! UP NIGERIA. Obi, is this not so lame , dry and stale already ? ![]() Instead of you to campaign for your namesake in peace, you are here looking for avoidable wahala. Na dem
It cannot be lame or dry added time of 34 minutes in a football game is akin to the difference between the change and next level we were promised and what we are currently witnessing in the country ![]() |
These are the kinds of things you will see if BAT becomes president ![]() |
Ishilove:Na those kind dey support BAT for 2023 ![]() |
princeabdul:Do you have Peter Obi caps? I'd like to order 1000 pcs. |
tony0806:The 1.9million Nigerians campaigning for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. |
I like Peter Obi and think he's the best of the 3 candidates but let's be honest where are the crowds supporting PO in these pictures ![]() |
Vaughanlanrewaj:Before you write this are you not ashamed that we are in the middle of another fuel scarcity?? Are you not tired of the hardship of the last 7 years ![]() God's countenance can never shine on him or you for that matter for supporting someone who sponsored a candidate that has wrecked this country and is on a mission to finish what is left of it. |
I'm just surprised that not one supporter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on this thread advocating why Tinubu is the best choice for Nigeria. Just goes to show that BAT supporters have no conscience. |
AwkaFinest:Don't mind them... okowa cannot even compete with Udom talk more of Wike. Everybody knows it is fear of Wike that made people gang up to betray him but they all ran to him when they needed someone to fight the APC head on. Even Atiku refused to champion PDPs cause or come to the defence of Ortom when Benue residents were being slaughtered on a daily basis. ATIKU has never been vocal in his criticism of the killings in Southern Kaduna how much more Okowa! ![]() |
richmote:Bitter truth bruv. Okowa was installed as governor by Ibori and Uduaghan. If not for those 2 who would have known Okowa in Delta state? |
nomenclature:Bros no need to rant..... All those so called achievements you talk about was due to the goodwill of Ibori.... Okowa is a political nonentity that was given VP slot for exactly that reason because Atiku doesn't see him as a threat and expects the normal political goodwill from the South. With the kind of allocation Delta state gets monthly which is comparable to Rivers, I dare you to mention one incident of note in the PDP that Okowa got involved in to resolve. Even Edo which is next door to Okowa had to run to Rivers when Obaseki fell out with APC and Oshiomole. Where was Okowa then? |
ogmask:Political space doing what exactly? What has been his achievement in the state regional and national level of PDP since 1999? Tell me what his sphere of political influence has achieved even as a governor of Delta state ![]() Go anywhere in Delta and mention that Okowa has more political influence than Ibori and be prepared for whatever you will see with your eyes. Okowa is not even Uduaghans mate talk less of Ibori. |
Abujason:So easy to say now... Where was Okowa and Atiku in the heydays of APC dominance? Was it Okowa or Atiku who stood behind Ortom when he decided to leave the APC or was it Atiku who came to Edo state and turned it to a PDP state? If not for Wike where would PDP have been? |
ogmask:Bullshit... I am from Delta state and can boldly say that Okowa is a political nonentity fortunate to get the governorship on the coat tails of iboris influence. Till tomorrow Okowa cannot win election in his ward if ibori doesn't approve. Is that who is going to capture the south for pdp over Peter obi and BAT? Atiku just committed political suicide |
waziri4biz:Tinubu will win (although I hate to say it) Peter Obi will come second Atiku will come last and cry foul as usual. |
I'm just wondering What If Nyesom Wike decides to decamp to APC and is awarded the VP slot ?Tinubu and Wike... What a scary combination!!! Anyways.... Just a thought Back to the issue Atiku choosing Okowa is putting the final Nail on the coffin of PDPs defeat! I am quite disappointed that he chose to pick such a weak deputy when he is about to enter into the most keenly contested election he has ever participated in! Already he is at a disadvantage because APC has the advantage of incumbency combined with the Political muscle of Tinubu, it would have taken an inhuman effort to even stand a slight chance of winning. Instead Atiku has chosen to impose a handicap on himself by choosing Okowa. What a shame! |
