lol you're funny with the "she's filthy rich"
Anyway I guess our different personalities speaks for us... That's where the every single us announcing good news isn't true...

I can't remember the last time I posted anything about myself and that's how I love smiley
Lol you don't have to post it on the internet. You might have told friends and family about your achievements and you would be shocked to know that some are hating on it. You get it now yeah.

Maybe not filthy rich, but if you can afford a house of 500m in this present day Nigeria then you are right up there with the other rich guys.

the statement is very true bro, when she truly knows she's rich she will stop the announcements.
What is she announcing ?
"Linda Ikeji is opening a new studio, Linda Ikeji is building a new house, blah blah blah ".
She's a celeb, she's kind of a big deal and people do what she does everytime. Every single of us announces good news at one time or the other.
You cant tell people what to announce. You can always choose to not give an F about it. It's really simple. Shes not poor, she's filthy rich.

Always ahead.

But why I Personally Don't like her personality is

1: She is always flashing her achievement even when Its not right time to do so.

2: She keep reminding her self how poor She was Bla Bla Bla (Personally I think we all already know her story)

Dear Linda, do not count ur chicks b4 there are hatched
To be honest. You can't or rather, shoudnt tell another person when to or not to flash their achievements. I don't think any human being has that right. You can always look away or read about other people. This woman has done
well for herself. If you can't stand her success, then by all means look away.
Your closing advice is also invalid, sorry.

Op. If you had basic education, then you'ld know that there are differences between facts, non facts, assumptions and outright stupidity which I think your reasoning belongs to.
There is no data to back your claim up and you are probably a jobless person that went to church for sinister reasons. Modern day olofofo. Your thread is dead on arrival. Do something useful with your life and while you are at it, refrain from making useless generalisations.

RomanceRe: Why Men Patronise Prostitutes by obiaguna(m): 12:34am On Jul 24, 2016
winkmart:
Prostitution is one of the oldest occupations in the world. Prostitution thrives under any economic condition. What is seen these days is large number of upwardly mobile guys who patronize these ladies of easy virtues.

LEKAN AYETORO – Men patronize prostitutes for different reasons, it might be that they need to spice up their sex life or they want a different taste of sex.

TOMIWA AKINREMI – For me, prostitutes are more accessible and less demanding. They will not ask for unnecessary money from you because they know what the business is all about not like girlfriends that will ask for dinner dates, Brazilian hair, shopping, public holiday gifts, sharwama, clubbing and all. So, prostitutes are more affordable.

GBENGA ANIFOWOSE – Some men patronize prostitutes because they can’t go through the drama or stress of relationships. Moreover, these girls that people term prostitutes are better than these so called good girls.

OPEOLUWA FABIYI – Most prostitutes are safer than these so called girlfriends because they will never get down with a guy without condom. There are classes of prostitutes. Moreover, variety is the spice of life.

MATTHEW OLAKUNLE – There are different reasons why men patronize prostitutes. Some can be due to crazy sex drive, some because they just had a serious heartbreak, some are shy to approach ladies for a relationship, some can’t deal with the headache, nagging and problems of relationship.

KINGSLEY MONU – Most men have insatiable desire for sexual pleasure and if they find someone that will give them all the styles and adventures, they will go for her. So, most times because they are affordable and will treat you well with sex, they go for them.

EMEKA EJIKE – Some men patronize prostitutes because of low self esteem. Some do it because of some alcohol they have taken like Alomo, Opa Eyin, Baby Oku and so on.

SILAS OKORO – Men patronize prostitutes because they want to help them. It is a simple and straight forward transaction and you will get all the pleasure you want. The guy will not even go through the trauma of nagging and demanding money every day.

TOBI OGUNDIMU – Men patronize prostitutes because of too much exposure to porn, insatiable sexual appetite, lust for flesh and because most of them think with their head in-between their legs and not the head on their neck.

LANRE OGUNSANYA – Because most guys are busy these days, so when they need sex, the easiest way out is to call an ashawo because before you start cajoling your girlfriend to come over, the guy must have masturbated.

WALE AMZAT – Men patronize prostitutes because they are wonderful in bed. Some do it to discharge unwanted sperm and some do it to shy away from the responsibility of keeping a girlfriend.

GBEMI AKOLADE – Some men patronize prostitutes because it is convenient for them and they will adequately express their sensuality. Some do it because they are shy and some do it because they don’t have the liver to ask a girl out.

DAMOLA FOLARIN – Men patronize prostitutes because they are strictly pleasurable, they are straight forward and effective. They know that there are no strings attached, that’s all.

SUNDAY AKINYELURE – Some men patronize prostitutes because they don’t want girls to be pestering them for money in the name of permanent girlfriend.

BRIGHT UCHENDU – The reason men patronize prostitutes is because they don’t want any commitment. Some do it because they lack discipline, most men like ladies who will give it to them any day anytime with no restriction or condition.

CHINEDU NNAEMEKA – Men patronize prostitutes because they are easy to access. There is less stress in getting them not like keeping a girlfriend that will tell too many stories before you see the colour in her pant.

OSONDU RICHARD – I patronize prostitutes because they are harmless and fun to be with unlike girlfriends that will give STD’s and unnecessary disease and even cheat on their boyfriends.

JUSTIN ISIKALU – Why men patronize prostitutes are because there are no strings attached. Prostitutes don’t have feelings, their business is straight forward, there won’t be any case of abortion or baby-mama drama and 100 percent of these prostitutes are very clean.

http://encomium.ng/why-men-patronize-prostitutes/
Bla Bla Bla. Men go to prostitutes cos it's as easy as ABC.
End of.

naijatechworld:
Although I just recently created a topic for this question, I wanted to hear other people's views on this. I've observed that web traffic for Nigerian job websites or let's just say job websites for Africa in general are always low in numbers like in the thousands. But when you check the web traffic for social communities/networks in Africa or Nigeria like Nairaland or like Linda Ikeji Blog, or just news they are so high like in the millions. I would think that many people would use the internet to get more money. Am I wrong in my thinking? Is it that everybody that can afford the internet, does not need a job? What is going on? Please explain.
Truth is one stands a higher chance of getting a job from social media/nairaland than most of those good for nothing job sites. Ads on those job sites are largely irrelevant and sometimes doesn't even exist so I guess people have realized that and they have moved on to better things. My last 3 interviews were all from ads posted on twitter plus one more mail exchange between myself and the recruiter from nairaland. I could be wrong but thats what I think.

@obiaguna, not sure if looking for a max fee will be the right approach to studying outside Nigeria especially at PG level. Most important is to research various schools and see the one that fit into both your short and long term goals. Once you narrow your options down you can weed off some more based on finance (including scholarship & loans ) acceptance rate... You can also follow them on fb and twitter because they may organise events in Nigeria (I know of IE business school) and also attend webinars where you can ask more personalized questions. I know this may sound a bit cliched but honestly it worked for me when I decided to go to grad school.

Trust this helps.

Unfortunately I have no figure to it all depends on which buisness school you choose to attend.
Thanks . I would use your approach. Did you go to I.E though?

Op you are doing the right thing at the wrong time. This is not the time for any woman. You shouldn't even go close to students cos they are mostly ignorant about real life events and the concepts of making and keeping money. Firstly, you wrote that Lara oshomole wasn't beautiful even though every blind man can see that she is beautiful
Now you think that ibo girls are not beautiful.

Let me tell you something.....ibo girls are some of the prettiest in Nigeria. They are definitely finer than Yoruba girls but Yoruba girls are sexier.
Lol did she actually say Lara Oshomole isn't pretty?? Wow poor thing. Must be going through a lot.

Inferiority complex? thats the trademark of all igbos and igbo sympathisers.
So how come Igbo babes have been winning MBGN back to back. Are the organizers stupid. Can you do a better job than the organizers.it appyas you created this thread to bash Igbo babes for reasons best known to you. Nobody is saying Igbo girls are the prettiest in Nigeria but clearly there are a lot of beautiful Igbo girls and they are well appreciated. If you were not insecure then you wouldn't have created this thread and stop using that "Igbo are insecure" narrative. It's been over flogged and it's mostly used when the brain runs dry of meaningful facts during an argument. I'm trying very hard to believe you are only stupid in love. I don't want to believe you are also stupid in other areas of life generally as well.
FamilyRe: A Man Who Cannot Foot The Bills Of The Home Has Lost His Right To Headship by obiaguna(m): 12:44am On Apr 11, 2016
PresVA:
A man remains the head irrespective of situations. . God didn't give any conditions for husbands' headship. ..

Meanwhile, all these headship, bla bla bla... a family where the couple live as friends/lovers, hardly notices who's the 'head' or 'tail' because they do things together; they're more like partners/siblings. ...
Exactly. Some people just make marriage feel like it's guns and ammunitions. Seek true love first, then respect your partner. Build solid friendship and partnership regardless of age or financial parity and watch your marriage blossom. It's not rocket science really. If you as a woman is taking care of the finances and you are beginning to feel overwhelmed then talk to your husband and make him see reasons why he needs to assist and get something doing (even if I think he is a tool if he's perfectly okay with such situation). Fighting and waiting for ur ass to be licked and cherished isn't the answer really.
FamilyRe: A Man Who Cannot Foot The Bills Of The Home Has Lost His Right To Headship by obiaguna(m): 12:38am On Apr 11, 2016
First of. Men aren't wired to do domestic house hold chores. Is it necessary, yes but from time immemorial women have always done these things. Does it make any one the bad person? No. It's just the way it is. Plus times have changed and you can always hire live in helps or hire external maid service so that's settled.

Secondly, marriage is a partnership and I don't subscribe to this head and tail analogy. I think marriage should be a partnership with each partner working towards a common goal. Marriage requires mutual respect and when there is that respect, the there would be happiness and less fights. Y'all make it sound like it's a war zone out there. It's not. You lots keep getting married for the wrong reasons and then you run here sprewing hate messages and what not.
FamilyRe: What Can I Do Now? by obiaguna(m): 12:28am On Apr 11, 2016
Come to think of it. Why don't people continue living with their parents as they have always done prior to when their older siblings get an apartment of their own. Why is the new apartment looking better than their parents own. People should learn to stay with their parents and stop trying to cause trouble for others. Your siblings won't die if they remain where they are or better still go and chill with their friends.
FamilyRe: What Can I Do Now? by obiaguna(m): 12:21am On Apr 11, 2016
The same reason she didn't allow your brother stay should be the same reason for her sister not to. Note that if you ever allow her sister to move in with you guys, your brother would be very disappointed with you and might grow to resent you forever. Also note that if you allow women stay with you they may never move out, and they'ld rather another sister joins them. I'm writing from my personal experience and what I have witnessed in neighbouring families . Op be a man and grab your balls.
RomanceRe: Getting Married Even When You Are Broke by obiaguna(m): 9:31am On Apr 10, 2016
Elxandre:
You know, things work out well for a few people, and people assume it will work for everyone.

One of the foremost Pastors in Nigeria married an in-law of mine when he was totally broke.
Their wedding was a joke in the village.
But now they come to the village with convoys and the best SUVs around. cheesy

But I also have another person I know who did it, and I'm still sorry for the after effect it has on him till this day. (After several years).
Oh men. How is he doing now? People should actually try to meet up with most of their goals before they get married. We also have to take our time. I guess everybody is just subscribing to the whole bae and boo bandwagon. Loneliness is not a bad thing, and if well utilized, can turn into blessings for you and your future partner. It's hard, but if young people can get busy trying to better themselves with proper investments and other things, marriage would be very enjoyable.
