webkwin: Yorubas don't say "ojo omo ibo", they say "omo jo ibo". And this has never translated to being pretty. It simply means being light-skinned like an Igbo girl.
Igbos are not prettier than Yorubas. They are not even in the top 5. That's just a lie you've been telling yourselves. And you know this which is why u felt the need to bring your "competition" to this thread. But like u said, "no sane man can call his mum a bad cook" so we understand.
Show me the girls on ur Igbo threads with natural hair and no makeup. Your envy/hate for Yorubas didn't let you scan through the thread before commenting.
Nawa oo. Saying Igbo girls are not pretty and are not in top 5 is akin to saying tomorrow is Tuesday. I'ld leave you to guess which is a bigger lie. Anyways lets appreciate the damsels posted on this thread. No need for hate n bad blood. Take it easy man. |

Very inspiring post. I always tell my friends that the era of applying online for jobs is almost over. You have to be aggressive ,talk to people cos the best jobs are not advertised on the job blogs. You have given me some new insights cos I'm also searching for one and I would adopt this method. Desperate times really calls for desperate measures. |

Lol thank God you choose NBC. As an engineer ,starting out as a mgt trainee in NBC would expose to the engineering and mgt side of the business. You can train as an engineer and further more apply for an MBA to make you very well rounded. Loads of advantages that I can state but seeing that you already choose NBC , I would just stop here. Cheers to a beautiful career ahead of you. |

The fee was 4200€/year. So I should just go online and google the Erasmus mundi program yeah. Thanks. |

A lot of people have been arrested in Lagos and their motorbikes impounded for running such business Can you expatiate on this? Can one partner with already existing logistics companies to avoid paying this huge NIPOST fee at least for the start up stages.. |

As for those saying I should be good ambassadors, you can count on that. Congrats on your Erasmus journey and sorry for the ill treatment, it's a national cross(curse) and only us can change it, one person at a time. Anyways, how did you apply and get the program. Was it expensive? I'm looking for something similar cos I want quality education abroad yet affordable somewhat. Please give tips. Thanks. |

Hbuyosh:
 Happy!!!!!
Nope. This is an absolutely free service for my country, from which I need and expect no reward. A token from the head of state for this would be a big surprise.
My guy! Sinister intentions, what sinister intentions? Mine was only to set the facts here straight. That is not in anyway a sinister motive. What then do u have to say about your fellow Nigerians who dismiss my country as as worthless, full of savages and wild animals roaming about? I havent inferred anywhere that Nigeria is bad country I am not into this habit of stereotyping other pipo based the actions of some few individuals. I am surely saner than that!
Could u please substitute that highlighted word with "notorious"? Cos that is the perception of many around the world. The onus is on u to inform them otherwise. Granted, the vast majority of Nigerians are upright pipo, it's only some 10 or 20 percent of the population that are making the rest see bad. My country Kenya doesnt have any problem with Nigerians living here, so long as they are the virtuous variety. And this policy of preventing the bad elements from entering and living in the country isnt only applied to the Nigerians alone. It's indeed from any part of the world. After all, Kenya already has too many villainous elements within its society to contend with.
You say u dont care about Kenya, why then are there so many of your compatriots here. Were it not for them, I wouldnt have known about the rather epileptic power and water supply in your country.
Kenya isnt just Nairobi contrary to what many of u Nigerians who have never been to Kenya or at least read about the country believe. There are several other towns and cities across the country. Mombasa, is the second largest city in Kenya, the second busiest port in Africa after Durban (I used to assume it's Lagos) and a major tourist attraction centre. It looks waaaaayyy modernthan Abuja.
There are several other fine towns, I can pick any just randomly, like Kericho, which was ranked 26th largest in the country after the 2009 census, with a population of merely 138000 pipo. But look at the town! Beautiful, dont u think? An even smaller town called Thika. How about the beautiful resort town of Naivasha?
Kenya is regarded one of the most developed in the SSaharan Africa for a reason, dude. Whatever makes you sleep man. |

Would check your blog very soon as I am also looking for motivation to study abroad. Sometimes I just look at forgoing two years of work/salary for a masters degree without knowing what's next for you. It's really scary especially if you are coming from a position of limited funds but all in all a masters degree in a French or German university appeals to me.
In addition to the academic side I would like to explore beautiful cities and visit various countries as France shares close borders with a host of European countries such as Netherlands , Spain, Belgium, Switzerland ET Al.
I have never fancied schooling in the States or UK cos schooling in Europe comes with an extra benefit of learning a new language and adopt new cultures as well as keying into the start up revolution being experienced in Europe as well. |

Kenyanstar: How would anyone expect a backward & archaic country like Nigeria crippled with one of the poorest literacy levels in Africa and defunct education system to know anything beyond their village polytechnics. One fundamental thing i noticed with my Nigerian "broda" & neighbor Chinedu here in Kenya is that when he was venturing out of Nigeria for the first time is his shock when he arrived in Kenya. Unlike his stint at the airport at Murtala(not sure the spelling) he was harassed, intimidated and after stints of bribery he was finally allowed to board his maiden flight to Jomo Kenyatta airport. The experience was in contrast with what he faced back home..... Within 10 minutes and his documents intact the efficiency was too much to fathom that he kept questioning himself if he was dreaming, noting that back home the experience would be something you wouldn't want to remember........ To be continued. Backward, Village Polythecnic, archaic? The same Nigeria I know?? Lol. |

Hbuyosh: Thank u seun, thank u lalasticlala, thank u mynd44 for allowing me to rankle these Nigerians here today, unlike the other time. Goodnight! So how do you feel after rankling them ? Has the president called you for your medal yet? There is a way to talk and promote your country without having sinister intentions and apart from Lady X who laid out her points like a well educated fellow the rest of you Kenyans(on twitter and nairaland) only look to score cheap internet points that doesn't translate to anything tangible in the real scheme of things. There are Nigerians everywhere. It's the most populous black nation on earth, and it's similar to the case of seeing Chinese and Indians everywhere. But does that make China and India a bad nation? I guess you and I know the answer. Nigerians will always make the news. They are popular people. They are everywhere not just Kenya. There are good ones making waves worldwide and there are bad ones like the 17 in your heavenly Kenya but please get over your delusional self. Your country is not all that and really most of us don't care. Enjoy your Kenya or sorry Nairobi in peace and while you are it, quit trying to rample Nigerians cos it makes you feel like you are begging for attention. Cheers bro. |

Its never too late for anybody. We just need to change our attitude and focus on our goals. Your brother can apply to work in the middle East or Canada/America/Australia. I think people with good hand skills can thrive in those places.
I don't know much about the visa processes for the aforementioned countries but I listed them based on what I have read and close friends and family experiences. Good luck to you both. |

Sports › Re: 5 Mistakes Jose Mourinho Has Already Made This Season by obiaguna(m): 12:44am On Sep 17, 2016 |
First things first. This is hasty assumptions. I can bet that if United won that City which they could have if Zlatan converted 2 out of 4 chances then we would be seeing a different story entirely.
The issue I can attest to is the Mkhitaryan issue but this United team needs Rooney a lot. His impact is very underappreciated but the team needs a leader on the pitch. We need to move Blind to partner Pogba then get Smalling to pair Bailly. Speaking of Bailly, he performed well in the derby. There isn't one defender in the world that gets it right all the time but say and see what you want.
Mourinho has said "we would like to win the league" which is was is expected. Saying it or not saying it makes no difference whatsoever and I dont see the pressure you are speaking of.
Like I said, it's barely 10 games ,let's wait and see after game 10. Thank God Chelsea lost today. Let's all be realistic. I can bet you that articles like this would come out when Pep looses his own. Cheers. |
