A couple of tragic news spring up almost on a daily basis Heard quite a lot about this same story, was Alhaja Martins actually involved in the fire accident? according to this story she was no doubt, how come these sports dailies keep telling us that she died of shock from the accident and that she wasn't actually invoved in the accident? God was faithful on the day cos plied that route same day around 6.30am to work, the level of damage was alarming! These trailer tankers constitute a safety risk ! R.I.P to all who lost their lives! |

@javalove /icezik so u thot u really had enemies. you guys are so immatured. if you do something good they will tell you . if u do something bad we would not only tell you but we will pour it all over ur forehead. this one is good and we are saying so, so how does this give you people problems again? we are still waiting to see how you withstand the ruggedman challenge tho. because many rap disciples believe you are scared and jealous of him. @abdulrasaq where the eff r u ? u dey run for argument? |
Nobody does it better than Achebe for me, he's paints a picture that u can vividly capture in his works that u almost think u re watching a movie. His wisdom is unparalled ( no hard feelings for Soyinka) cos as far as i'm concerned, he's no writer but a poet, playright cum social activists. If i got the question rite, Who's Nigeria's greatest writer not poet ? Give it up for Prof Chinualumogu Achebe! |
lol. na u be durella broda, ? everyone is beefing saucekid because he speaks phonetic? i still love sauce, Bleep those jobless naija djs in yankee, Bleep african kings 1million times , long live saucekid . |

It doesn't always happen that way , there are some exceptions, though rare. It's a mind thing. |
Yesterday, the panel constituted by the attorney general of the federation, Michael Aaondakaa submitted it's report on the probe of the investment of 423 milion dollars in the African Finance Corporation by the Central Bank of Nigeria under incumbent governor, Chukwuma Soludo. The presidency would be licking it's lips after this and what action should be taken for/ against the prof who founded this corporation and in turn churned this massive investment into it. Whatever the intention is/was to me looked good until late. My honest view is and will still be is that Soludo who has marked a niche for himself in the CBN and indeed Nigeria by ensuring that the days of failed banks are sure over, should have read the writing on the wall when his deputy, Shamsudeen Usman was appointed as minister of finance. For me, it that action was the turning point in the turn of events that would follow i.e Redenomination policy and of late this. It remains to be seen how the findings would be carried out. |
According to Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, it's Obafemi Awolowo, |
We haven't moved an inch from where Obj left us men, Yar' Adua ain't it he's not a president he's a figure head! Nothing is heard from him, we just 'siddon dey look' according to late Bola Ige. Nigeria does'nt need a siddon look president, especially with the current events in the country you and i know that. I advise that he sits up and take charge of situation(s) i.e the Niger Delta case, it's a force that is strong enough to crack Nigeria. |
Core Lugard / Ogoazi boy wat's up wit my fellow dengramites. For me, new era babes gat it going on u know, not 4getting ado- close 2 call. |
The network that makes life better, ur guess by now should be sharper than mine. |
U can't take anything away from Federer,he has been 5 time champion of wimbeldon, only Nadal serves him his worst reciepe - 2 defeats in two grandslam finals! C'mon Roger wat's with Rafa that u can't just come to grip with? Well Rafa deserves it, he's come a long way, consistency has paid off or what do u tink? |
When u mention man u Malcolm Glazer, Liverpool Tom Hicks n George Gillet, Chelsea Roman Abramovich, Arsenal is torn between Usmanov and Kroenke. I tink it's high time arsenalsubmits to a formal take over from any of these two men who look set to launch a bid esp with usmanov's 24% share in the club through his red and white holding. Football today has to do with finance and this is what arsenal require to find their feet and totally dislodge chelski and woman u 4 d title. |
I kinda like the way u guys package the programme, it's unique , the style . the presenting etc and i must also hint that i like yhe funky way u spell ur names ; Yinka - Yeancah , Chinwe - Chynwe it's cool. Lest i 4get, welcome on board. |
What a dumb, myopic and short thinking group. To think that the aviation probe was set up to get back at their kinsmen how ridiculous. Weren't they[ Fani Kayode and Borishade] the ones in charge of the ministry when this scam was discovered? This ethnic politics played in this country is the sole reason why we will continue to take one step forward and two steps backward inthis county. |
I never believe in any of these their conferences or truth commission or whatever name they choose to call it. It won't work. The solution is simple; develop the niger delta period. For Prof Gambari to say that is very wrong as he has lost my respect. He should choose his words next time, if there would ever be one. |
In love with Faze's lyrics especially in ''Need Somebody'' I'll be your hero your pillow lie on me i'll rescue you i'll be your rainbow , your shadow i'll clour you, i'll follow Good work! |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- am not sure there's a basis for comparing them. Well said tpia tribal loyalties would certainly how sway, objectivity would be secondary and thirdly i dnt tink they can be compared, they are all in a class of their own. |
Why did you leave me In this desert With labyrinths of footpaths, Without a guardian? Dee Christopher, Town crier, Why did you leave me On the paths of thunder? I left you In this desert In this labyrinths of footpaths, on the paths of thunder, For your baptism. I left you To the guidiance of Idoto, My Muse, I left you to fight another war. Do you have to fight that war? Do you have to strap Assault rifles And pebbles of bullets? There are men and women Trained to fight that war, You are a town crier. Begone apprentice, I left my gong and stick At the sacred grotto Of Mother Idoto For you and your ilk, For generations of town criers. (Late Christopher Okigbo, a renowned Nigerian Poet lived from 1932 to 1968) The above are the work of a poet, prolific writer short life but with deep impact. Even the Noble Laeurate Wole Soyinka attested to this fact. I shudder when i read his writings , his thoughts evokes a deep sense of conciousness that no other poet i have read about, not even Soyinka(no hard feelings), Death is one ultimate price we have to pay, but the big question is '' under what circumstance''? |
This is undoubtably the truth, i cannot seem to decipher what Yar'adua is doing right. For me, every step he makes is wrong! The marginalisation cry is ripe, the south is grossly marginalised especially the s/east. Recently, the HOS has been shown the door, The south sast senators have alleged that the FG set a booby trap for Chukwuma Soludo, CBN governor to fall into and unfortunately it has been designed to trap him. I do and don't think i will understand the workings of this govt. In my opinion, Soludo should have resigned as soon as his deputy, Usman was made a minister. |
Yeah tink i found a birthday mate: i'm june 18th suly wat's up? |
Nwosu is speaking from both sides of his mouth, it's common with most INEC, NEC or whatever name they choose for an election body. I heard in the news yesterday as a review of the June 12 election was being made that he (Nwosu) said that he got an order from the presidency to withold the electoral results and that late MKO polled bout 8million votes plus as against Bashir Tofa's 6million, He who had the power to withold the result also had the power to annul it, what are we now saying? |
Yep he has last week of May. U feel like being missed rite(laughs) ![]() |
Ooooh very funnny! Heard that recently live was discovered in Venus sure dis guy is from there. VERRRY DUUUUUUUUUUUUMB TRY THE JOKES SECTION PLEAAAASE BIKOOOOOOO EJOOOOOOR DA ALLLAH MANA! |
For me, they come in this order: Cristiano Ronaldo Lionel Messi Francesc Fabregas May look like a youth award, but the youth are the future, |
Finally, it has come to bear! first it was the re- denomination of the naira episode that shook the Federal Executive Council which led to the abortion of the proposed policy by the CBN governor, Chukwuma Soludo. Now it is the AFC saga which has further brought Soludo into srutiny. FG is questoning the investment of some billion dollars( can't remember the figure) into the African Finance Corporation. I would think that Soludo is culpable for these allegations, but at the same time , i think the former university lecturer is a victim of this administration's slugery. Soludo is a genius, a rare breed, a reformer and a master strategist at the best. To think that he could take laws into his hands and approve billions without executive recommendation is unthinkable! I think that the Northern card is being played to remove Soludo from an office that has overtime been held by the north. Well, hearings are on and findings will emerge, but if you ask me , i think it's been already determined that the prof will leave his office sooner or later and either of these two men will emerge as the new CBN governor: Sanusi Daggash or Taminu Yakubu. |
Yes we must face reality, Nigeria is only in one piece today, tanks to the almighty. Were she to be another country, she would have long seperated. Only this morning, i read that OPEC has ranked Angola the highest oil producing country in the continent. What does this potend? Militancy in the oil rich niger delta is no doubt affecting us and God help this country that our oil does not dry up soonest. As per the power equation it will only be balanced when power drifts to the south east/ south axis. Anything short of that will lead to, only God knows |
