Of all the countries on the globe, SOMALIA! Dat's funny. Anyway, all African American look African cos they are all descents of Africa. Heard Whoopi Goldberg is from Guinea? Any truth? |

When one talks of twins of different mothers, i can't help think of these two guys: Guerilla black and the late Biggie. Both are of Jamaican descent, sound alike , look alike, rap alike infact they, i could go on and on. I even heard he's on line to play Biggie in a film potraying the life and times of the notorious one dubbed ''Notorious Life''. Others on line for the role include Sean Kingston, Hpoe GB gets the role,

Unu ga egbu mmadu lee, Good job he's doing and he has indeed made enough publicity for Bayelsa people. If i may ask does the dude have Igbo link? Methink that the language sounds gud in his mouth. Good upcoming artiste, i kinda like him ![]() |
I was tempted to make this comparison cos i love Lighthouse family( Tunde Baiyewu) as far as am concerned, he's the one that makes the group thick. Until recently, one republic stormed the scene with their smashing hit ''apologize'' as well as some other great sounds. I'm now torn in between the two, i have come to the latter more than the former maybe cos they(one repubic) more recent coupled with the genius of famed producer and artiste, Timbaland. Maybe it's time to ask what exactly is happening to Lighthouse family? |
It's really sad to see how events have been unfolding in South Africa; first Reggae legend Lucky Dube gunned down during a car snatching scene, xenophobic attacks spring up all of a sudden, not forgetting the increasing and sporadic rate o crime and murder in major cities like Jo'burg, Capetown etc. Should FIFA now strip Africa of her first world cup hosting experience? I think it's too little too late for all that to happen, barely less than 24mths to the kick off and logically i don't expect FIFA to make any decision in a hurry. They should see how to work hand in hand with the government of the country to ensure that the competition is crises free. Hard task it is practically, though not is impossible,

Deep sense of loss, to think that i knew one or two of those soldiers( i served in the same barracks they were returning to before they met their demise as a class teacher in the school there). Very tragic week this passing was especially for the families of the fallen soldiers. May God grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. |
Very sad indeed, to think that i might have known one of these men! I served with the army during my service days with a command school in Monguno barracks, the same barracks where these men were going back to after returning from darfur. I'm deeply touched cos there's a probability that someone i know or might have come across as a corper that taught one of their children, one way or the other. Adeiu brave and gallant warriors that fell on the way side in the line of duty, and for the sake of us all. |
It's really a bad week for Nigeria, first it wuz the 45 soldiers and a captain who had just returned from darfur safetly making their way to their barracks( which i incidentally happen to have served in as a youth corper in the secondary school there), then comes foremost Nigerian musician popularly known as the ozzidi king, Evangelist Sonny Okosun who passed away in an american hospital having suffered from colon cancer, then the only blockbuster Nigeria has ever known Alloysius Atuegbu, a member of thge 1980 nations cup winning team and current coach of league side Nasarawa United. I didn't watch Atuegbu play, but the way my dad used to talk about him has made me to believe that really he was out of this world. According to my dad '' no current super eagle player has what he had ie his terrific shot, maybe Oliseh to some extent and Taiwo, but truly he was out of this world Being an ardent rangers fan, one cuoldnt help but love the combination of play between Christian Chukwu, Christian Madu, Okey Isima, Ifeanyi Onyedika and blockbuster himself Alloy Atuegbu''. Those were my dad's words, some of those names ring a bell, while some don't, but the former green eagle and nasarawa united coach will sorely be missed. R.I.P |

News have it that MASSOB( Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra) are planning to enforce a sit at home order to commemorate the anniversary of the declaration of Biafra as a soveriegn state on May 30th 1967 by the then military governor Lt Col Odumegwu Ojukwu. The FG has acted swiftly to clampdown on an any foprm of activity that would follow the order tagging it illegal and an offence against the state. Directives have been sent to all eastern states, Delta and Rivers, and to all Igbos in diaspora tocomply with the order after the group's meeting in Enugu. Frankly speaking, i wonder if the struggle is worth it. It's left to see how this directive will be implemented or striffled ![]() |
Seeing all of those pics will definitely leave on confused. I'm an Angie fan, but i think the indian lady is stunning. Well dats what they are known for( their beauty) ie the indians. She has given Jolie a good run for her money, but i'll not be drawn to make a decision here cos both ladies are gorgeous, In a life and death siuation , i'll be forced to stick to Jolie |
If this is true( which i believe it is), it can only be achieved by the Igbos. I've been to eastern cities lke Nnewi and Aba and the level of local industry potential and growth and innovativity is alarming. Most of us say they are fake, yes they are because they are not from usa or china or wherever, but i believe the potential is there but for govt aparthy towards those from the south east. Can't wait to see this, it would be an interesting innovation and a landmark feat. ![]() |
I can imagine what he must have said: FILE DON'T TOUCH DAT TIN AND ALL THE KOKOLETS IN THE HOUSE, i must say here it's quir ridiculous( 4give me) ![]() |
I heard it in the news and was aplop with laughter! it may look like serious, but to me it's kinda funny. I thank God that i'm through with service. Questions wiil be asked after govt resumes contemplation but for now, let's watch and see. ![]() |
Quite frankly, i think the EFCC is gradually losing it, in terms of focus. The heavy politics has filtered in the system and has crippled the business which the EFCC has set out to do. First, Ribadu took the bull by the horns taking giant strides in tackling corrupt officials. In the process, the stepped on different toes who in turn orchestrated his sudden vacation for the course. In comes Ibrahim Lamourde, former director of operations into the fray. Hardly has the young man performed in his new position did the directive come from Aso Rock replacing him with Farida Waziri. What was responsible for Lamourde's removal? Maybe his capacity as acting chairman was stated clearly Facts are not avaliable though. However, the senate is yet to confirm the appointment of Waziri and has pledged to see to it that there was no breach of the law her appointment. Chairman of the senate committee on media and information, Senator Ayogu Eze stataes that the senate would not give a stamp of authority to abuse of procedure and rule of law if it was found out that the presidency did not do the right thing in the appointment of Waziri. Personally, it think EFCC has lost focus as politics has found it's way into the scheme of things in the process. Being able to purge it is another thing entirely, MAY GOD HELP US OH ![]() |
It's no longer news that we have an ill president, but what actually he's suffering from, i don't know. I'm not the only one, even the highly acclaimed human rights activist, Chief Fawehinmi too doesn't know too. I think Gani's question is pertinent, we all need to know what our president is suffreing from that warrants sudden trips abroad for health purposes. Nigeria's problems alone is enough to sicken a healthy person come to think of one who is not so healthy, ![]() |
www.tvshows.nu/Prison-Brreak-star-Wenthworth-Miller. I'm being misunderstood by people like Imah1, i REMEMBER SAYING INITIALLY THAT HE MAY WELL BE GAY AND NOT THAT HE IS GAY!!!! PLEASEEEEE LET ME DIE BEFORE AM BURIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
Quite frankly, i don't think both are same. Yes u are right dragnet has a Lagos centre , but gse doesn't . U are also right to note that u can log on with thesame id on both websites i think that's where we have a problem distinguishing which is which. UBA is currently recruiting and GSE test scores can be used. My broda it's like the more you hear. the less u comprehend, |
I mite not be the only one who believes that most dous or groups are just a springboard 4 getting to the top. Yes, they actually are, if you choose to see itfrom my point of view. Examples like Plantashun Boiz, Remedies, Kush, Maintain et al. Foriegn groups like Boys zone, B2K, Westlife- presently cracking up, Dru hill, Spice girls ,R. kelly's former group- can't remember their name again and a whole lot of othes that used their groups to launch themselves into the scene and after sometime crack up. That brings me to the topic which is that the 2 longest serving singing groups in 9ja should prove me wrond in this my analogy. Stylplus once said in an interview when asked about the prospect of any of em going solo. Shifi remarked '' i don't see myself doing this thing alone without 'em [Tunde and Zeal]. Psquare towed a similar line wen asked the same question '' We started it together and we will end it together o, there is nothing like solo for us , infact it is not in our dictionary''. It now remains to be seen how far these words will last, |
Ima1 its not a matter of sentiment here. TRUTH IS A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE LUV OR ADMIRE Miller, that doesnt make what is being said about him a lie. But hes been given a benefit of doubt to come out and disprove the claims. I will 4give u by referring to me as ''so called''. Don't be too SENTIMENTALLLLLLLL |
Yeah u remember him SS (Under Siege) and a whole lot of other flicks he did. But all of a sudden he went underground;no more movie roles and more importantly hasn't been in the news ever since. The last i heard of him was in February when he challenged Jean Claude- Van Damme @ Slyvester Stallone's party that he was tougher than him(Damme). I mean this is not just crazy , but wierd how can Seagal, the only stereotyped foriegn actor i have ever known challenge my one and only Damme? Well as crazy as it is , it's true. I also heard he's been pointing fingers @ the FBI for allegedly harming his career by implicating he hired a private detective to intimidate journalists who were writing unfounded stories about him. The 56 year old has only appeared in just 12 flicks since 2001, OH SO SAAAAAAAAAAAD
