None. He is my role model. He made so much sacrifice for me and my siblings. He is smart, intelligent and very sociable. He commands respect wherever he goes. I think his huge size and body build also play a very big role in the fear/respect he instill on people around him. However he is not a troublemaker. He would never hurt a fly unless if the fly intends hurting his family. He is a family man. I don't know if I can really be like him but I'll always try. |

If you are a physics teacher or language teacher, the UK is offering to pay you £10,000 if you decide to relocate to the UK to teach. That money is to assist with visa and travel expenses as well as other miscellaneous expenses. Below is the link on how to apply: The international relocation payment (IRP) is a single payment of £10,000 which will be available to eligible non-UK trainees and teachers of languages and physics.
The payment is designed to cover:
1. the costs of visas 2. the immigration health surcharge 3. other relocation expenses
The IRP will offer financial support to teachers and trainees from all over the world who wish to come to train and work in English schools. It will be paid around the end of the teacher’s or trainee’s first term. It will not need to be repaid.
If eligible, trainee teachers can receive both the IRP and a bursary or scholarship.
We are running the international relocation payment as a pilot in the 2023 to 2024 academic year.
The scheme will open to applications in autumn 2023.
Eligibility To be eligible, teachers or trainees must:
1. be coming to England to work or train in the 2023 to 2024 academic year 2. not be already living in the UK
The Get into Teaching website has full details of the eligibility requirements for teachers and trainees. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/international-relocation-payments/international-relocation-payments |

I'm 100% sure the Nigerian Judiciary can get Tinubu records if they request for it albeit privately. The Judiciary, especially the Supreme Court, has its integrity to protect. If they dismiss this drug case and FBI eventually releases an incriminating report, that will taint the reputation of the Supreme Court. |

Good development. However govt should go further to ensure that the value of the 200k does not depreciate. They can do this by reducing unnecessary expenses within govt for example the jumbo pay of political office holder should be cut. Also emphasis has to be placed on production so that prices of food commodities and other items are brought down. And also emphasis of production will increase the value of the naira against the dollar. |

Foreign Affairs › Belarus Leader Lukashenko Says Prigozhin Back In Russia by Obinoscopy(op): 2:06pm On Jul 06, 2023*. Modified: 2:26pm On Jul 06, 2023 |
I think Putin is losing his authoritarian grip. And thats all it takes to take down a dictatorial leader, a little dip in control. The Russian rebel that will emerge might not be Prigozhin but Prigozhin has cracked open the rebellion door for others to take cue from. Putin will definitely not be sleeping with his two eyes closed. The western world should just grab some popcorn and watch and should not interfere on the impending Putin implosion. My opinion. ● Lukashenko says Wagner boss Prigozhin no longer in Belarus ● Terms of Wagner relocation to Belarus unresolved ● Uncertainty surrounds deal that ended armed mutiny in Russia
MINSK, July 6 (Reuters) - The mutinous head of Russia's Wagner group is no longer in Belarus and it is not clear if his fighters will move there, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday, raising questions about the deal that ended last month's revolt.
Lukashenko said on June 27 that Yevgeny Prigozhin had arrived in Belarus as part of the deal that defused the crisis, which had seen the Wagner fighters briefly capture the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don and then march towards Moscow.
But Lukashenko, who brokered the deal, said on Thursday that Prigozhin was now in St Petersburg, Russia's second city, or may have moved on to Moscow.
"He is not on the territory of Belarus," Lukashenko told a press conference in Minsk.
Lukashenko also said the question of Wagner units relocating to Belarus had not been resolved, and would depend on decisions by Russia and by Wagner.
"Whether they will be in Belarus or not, in what quantity, we will figure it out in the near future," he said.
His comments highlighted the huge uncertainties surrounding the terms and implementation of the deal that ended the mutiny, which Russian President Vladimir Putin has said could have plunged the country into civil war.
Prigozhin's men have spearheaded much of the fighting in Ukraine but he has also accused Russia's top brass of corruption and incompetence. Prigozhin cast the June 24 "march of justice" on Moscow as a protest against the military leadership.
If Prigozhin is able to return to Russia with impunity, it would raise new questions about Putin's authority in the wake of the brief mutiny that marked the gravest challenge to his 23 years in power. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/belarus-leader-lukashenko-says-prigozhin-is-back-russia-2023-07-06/

This is because we only count clockwise when it comes to time. So for example, when we say 20 minutes to 10, it means 20 minutes before 10 and not 20 minutes after 10. |

Obinoscopy: So, in conclusion, I'll say the major contenders for the Senate Presidency IF Tinubu wins are Orji Uzor Kalu, Osita Izunaso and Peter Nwaboshi.
Modification: I was also made to be aware that Godswill Akpabio (APC, Akwa Ibom North West) is another strong contender. I know he has some legal hurdles to surmount. If that's solved, I'll say he also is a strong contender alongside Orji Uzor Kalu. So my prediction came to pass. It was a battle between Akpabio and OUK. Big congrats to Akpabio. |

Seriously, this thread would have made a lot of “sense” if it was opened by characters like Racoon and Penguin2. Seeing you open a thread like this and still trying to defend whatever point it is you’re trying to make is troubling. You’re trying to tell us black is white when everybody can see clearly that it is black. Your argument is against common sense and it’s troubling.
Maybe some of us overrated you. Maybe you’re allowing your emotional support for Peter Obi becloud your pragmatic reasoning. Maybe you’re just really not different from characters like Racoon etc. Whatever it is, get a grip and stop this embarrassing argument. Delete this thread or move it to jokes section. Emotional support? Bros, I don't have emotional support for anyone. I just give my opinion and move on. If you go through through my threads you'd see I'm not emotional in my post. I give my opinion and support them with facts. It's up to you to accept it or not to accept it. |

Criticise the policy you might, that I'd understand. But stop acting like those Obi supporters who folks refer to as zombies. There's nothing there to explain. Whatever else you wish there is to what he says is simply you wishing there is indeed something else to it.
Move on. There's no big deal in this. He said what he said. It's obvious you don't even understand the point I'm trying to make. The best way of countering a statement is to understand what the statement even means. It's only when you understand the statement that you can attempt to counter it in a way that the person who hitherto made the statement might agree with you. |
