BusinessRe: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by obiscolly(m): 8:18am On Sep 12, 2014
toastmagazinenigeria: Please what was the content of this new survey?..thanks for kind response.
Just asking if we're through with the CAC registration, (if not) what problems are we encountering, and by how much youwin has helped aid the process. About 4 questions.
BusinessRe: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by obiscolly(m): 11:20pm On Sep 11, 2014
bamistol: No. It is NOT an anonymous survey. Check it properly, you must input your YouWin universal ID before you can submit the survey.

I also heard that some people who completed their CAC reg form before the interview also got the email. That means it is strictly for all new business. A friend who registered as an existing business did NOT get the mail for the survey.
Ohh...i got the mail too but didn't open the survey link until now. I thought it was like the first one. Anyways, I still think it's nothing more than a survey, and has nothing to do with the selection. I might be wrong though.
BusinessRe: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by obiscolly(m): 9:57pm On Sep 11, 2014
I don't think there's any cause for alarm. I believe as with most surveys, only a sample population was chosen. It's an anonymous survey, so there's no way they can even know those who were part of it.

blink182: thank you very much bro. A look at the platform will show you how far I went and no details left in building the website. It is completely automated and a transaction can not continue without buyer and seller always agreeing. In the end, the website automatically issues invoices to both parties.

My adverts will start running but from interaction with my potential partners, there are more important things I need to do than advertising. Some of the really big online companies in Nigeria have been of great help. They have taken out time to differentiate a theoretical approach from practical real life circumstances.
Great work! It's good to know you're collaborating with partners. It's also very wise to act swiftly and build your business as a brand in this niche early. This is Nigeria! You can discover someone has stolen and implemented the idea the next second, and that won't be good news if he/she has a lot of resources at their disposal. Best of luck!

blink182: After being rejected at the very first elimination, I still proceeded with my proposal seeking funding from friends and family. With testing completed, my escrow website has gone live and the turn out even before I start advertising online has been impressive.

We are pioneering this service for Nigerians and we have done our best to ensure the learning curve isn't too steep while maintaining high security and verification levels.

It doesn't matter what happens, your determination and perseverance will always get you to your destination.
Men, congrats to you. I love this idea, not just because of how innovative it is, but how timely it is. This can help solve a lot of problems that exist in Nigeria in terms of performing online transactions. I'll advise you focus on quality service delivery and investing much in advertisement...especially on sites like OLX. You could even go into some kinda partnership with them. Best of luck bro! We can't wait to hear your success story!

EducationRe: Pressid Scholarship Aptitude Test Scores - First Class Graduates by obiscolly(m): 11:20am On Sep 10, 2014
sifo: Pls for those who have applied i need help filling out page 10. The page looks like its meant for those currently undergoing postgraduate programs but still requires CGPA to be filled
It's for everyone but not all fields apply to everyone. The assumption, I think, is that some of the applicants are currently undergoing their masters and seek to apply abroad for their PhD. So just fill the parts that apply. There's no asterisk on the fields so they are not all compulsory.
EducationRe: 6 Reasons Not To Attend A Public University by obiscolly(m): 11:12am On Sep 10, 2014
thelastgenius: So they didn't teach you in your public school that an individuals personality is not formed overnight??

It was the school that taught him how to butcher abii??

Public Uni students no they Off people??

Think Correctly Bro.
Discipline is a personal thing. It starts from home. The university can do little or nothing about it. I'm just saying the @op's argument that Private unis instill discipline in students doesn't hold water. If not why will most CU students want to kill demselves with parties and alcohol during their holiday? That says a lot!
EducationRe: 6 Reasons Not To Attend A Public University by obiscolly(m): 10:51am On Sep 10, 2014
@op u're confused.. your post goes a long way to show how private university grads think..* I wanna assume you're one.*

I'm sure your discipline explains why a student of Redeemers Uni butchered his father to death huh

EducationRe: Respect First Class Students In Public Universities by obiscolly(m): 2:06pm On Sep 06, 2014
Hehehe..op I kinda agree with you. I can't say much about the quality of first class produced by private universities cos I personally haven't interacted with any of them. But i think that it is easier to bag a first class under the ideal learning environment that those universities provide. Graduating with a first class from a public uni however, should be an admirable and laudable achievement considering the rigor to which students are subjected. I just laugh when people ask what first class grads have to offer? If only you knew all what we had to face and the sacrifices we had to make then you'll agree that we have the qualities to be successful under any circumstance. Talk of focus, persistence, time management, leadership, etc.. we possess them. So the fact that our system is just messed up in Nigeria, and some unfortunate FC graduates are victims don't mean you should respect them any less.

MoyoGENERAL: hello guys; i applied last year and i wasnt shortlisted for the test cos i was still serving: pls guys, when i tried to apply for this year's scheme using my previous pin( since i'm just updating my profile) it kept rejecting my pin.! Pls is it right if i start afresh with a new email to create my profile::cos am really disturbed as regards their( NO DOUBLE APPLICATION)::: pls help a brother
No double application on the same edition. I guess that's what they meant. I also tried last year during service but wasn't able to complete the application. I started a new application this year with the same email address but a new pin. I don't think you can carry over a previous application to a new year. You have to start afresh.

Well I'm looking at the brighter side. Can you think of how someone born like that is a graduate of accounting and a motivational speaker. That's indeed a miracle and God's awesome!
