Hello Bro,

I have a setup already but I had to leave my inverter on 24/7 to power starlink when I am not home to manually change to grid power.

Can you tell me what I need or supply the items necessary to build an automatic changeover and integrate it with my existing changeover?

What kind of inverter are you using?

nadico:
Any contact to replace my sukam 1.6kva inverter board. It powers on but does supply.

Replace or repair?
Attach a clear picture of the board and possibly location

officialfestus:
Anybody with an idea of building an automatic change over?

Yes I do

TechGeek777:
Am not, imagine the short time he has used that pack to be paying 50k for a damaged or swollen cell yet no solution.

If they was documented warranty he would have activated that clause and this issue would have been resolved.

Even your battery pack when one user reported issue with it here 3-4 months ago then you were ill, you resolved it without further complaints from the user.

I must commend your recent price I saw on 48v 280A Grade A EVE Cells, that it's almost 200k diff from Selina from china, which is no brainer waiting for length of time.

So @Valto 5yrs is a good warranty for Grade A EVE Cells at the very least!

The problem is not to document a warranty.

It's to honour it.

From experience, I can tell you that you can make a bad product look good if you have good customer support/service.

So documenting warranty is never the problem

officialfestus:
Fully completed.

The client enjoyed his set for about 2 months and requested an upgrade!
We sourced the product with the client while choosing low-cost and efficient products, from Panels to inverters and batteries in a transparent manner. Installation was carried out, and the client did the load test, showing that he can now power all his 2 regular 1HP Hisense ACs, a Refrigerator, and a Pumping Machine without waiting for the Grid. Video coming soon on my YouTube channel.

5 X 570W High-efficiency panels. (780K)
6.2KW inverter (450K)
5KWH (1.25M)
The total package is under 3M Naira.

Naim una dey call low cost

Drgreatone:
Honest question though, Why the client preference for tubular instead of lithium?

Second hand value obviously

odimbannamdi:
Please does any one have this for sale? Either new or used. Also something similar, I am fine with it. I am not very sure of the quality of the ones on Jumia, plus I am on a budget and need it urgently

Go to arena.

Ask for ik component.

It's available there sells for 60k

nnadychuks:
System voltage is 00.00V but voltage on charge controller is 12.8V
I believe the inverter isn’t displaying the battery voltage, or current isn’t passing through

The MCU is probably bad or the battery sense init

nnadychuks:
Pls help
I’m tired.
It seems solar isn’t for me o…
Can someone tell me why my inverter won’t generate current?
The inverter shows battery 00.00V, while charge controller shows 12.8V

This is just few weeks after buying a new mopower inverter

What is the system Voltage?

Does the inverter invert

micxwell:
No. The specific field you studied in school; at least your reports will be based on what you studied in school.

Your Degree certificate is one of the requirements for registration and the field you're registering in should align with that certificate.

They won't register you as a Mechanical Engineer if you have over 4years experience in the field; when your Degree is in Chemical Engineering for instance; you get the drift.

Yes

micxwell:
Go and gather experience. 4years after your service year, then you can register.

The experience, can it be in any field of engineering?

Thank you

officialfestus:
yes it does.

Okay thanks

It seems no one is building at the moment, I'm just waiting for my goods to arrive from aliexpress.

Bokajimike:
Hello Nairaland,

I am seeking advice on relocating to either Germany or Canada at the beginning of next year. I currently work remotely as the sole UI/UX designer for a tech company in Nigeria. I am married and in my late 20s. The idea of relocating has been on my mind for a few months now, and I have seriously been considering leaving the country. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering.

A friend suggested that I could move through a study program, but I am not sure if I can focus on academics at the moment. I am keen to hear how others have successfully and legitimately relocated. My wife is insistent that I shouldn’t leave the country without her, so I am planning for both of us to move together.

I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed with relocating to either Germany or Canada. If you prefer to share detailed information privately, my email is in my signature.

Thank you in advance for your help.

olaztek:
It's easy to set operating current of a buck converter if the load is resistive / inductive such as a led bulb or motor, but for a battery, it's quite tricky.

The constant current provided by the buck changes in tandem with the battery voltage level. If the battery is low let's say at 10.5v, the buck will deliver a high constant current. As the battery is nearing full charge @ around 12v, the buck delivers a low constant current.

For simplicity sake, just tweak the current trimmer clockwise to the max level till you start hearing some clicks from the trimmer, set your charging voltage, and put a cooling fan above your buck converter to prevent damage from overheating.

Doing this will not make your buck converter to burn out irrespective of the solar power rating supplied to it.

Bulk doesn't have the ability to regulate its preset voltage with respect to battery voltage when using it as a charger.

It's Solar charge controller that does that

Na,so i tell wan yeye installer to go install 8panels(450w) each,5kva,batteries. told him it was upstairs, benin city. He charged 70k.
