Check out any Federal science and technical college (FSTC ) they are about 18 in the country.

Though FSTC Yaba is the most equipped of them all (they spoilt the college with politics and introduction of science education) (qualifications here is nabteb)
A lot of people going to this school now are very young people , when I mean young, small children compared to what we had back in the days.

This way, too much heat is not deposited on the battery

Your regular bank is different from an investment bank or asset management.
Some examples of this investment banks are cowry asset manager ,Stanbic IBTC Capital etc them plenty.

To answer your questions, in case of inflation, if the inflation rate is higher than your interest (the return) nothing you can do your money is devalued.

By the way there are other was to curb inflation via commodities etc

There are lot of apk and outlet that allows you save in usd.

Mind you the idea of the saving in usd is to avoid depreciation. So you can save in naira as well, but you have to ensure your naira savings or investment is able to yield 30%+( a yield over the present inflation rate).

For the kerosene gas cooker, it existed at the early stage before cooking Gas became very popular.

Exactly reason why until Now, I still use a mixture of Kerosene stove, and Electric stove. People have advised me tire. I kept telling then soon, Cooking gas prices would rise. I was right after all; as usual.

Of course if anyOne had loaned me a Gas cylinder, I would have used GAS but wasn't willing to invest in something I knew I would drop sooner or later.

Looking to build an Oil stove which would make use of different types of oil. Just don't have time yet.

The problem with this group, is problem of generalisation. One issue with one technician equal to issues with all other technicians.

Aside from that, if you find a good repair technician, you will say it's too expensive, meanwhile people are more confident sending their appliances to the manufacturer.

Since you are in Asaba I can refer you to someone who does repair there in Asaba.


However if the inverter is still on warranty, then service center is your option. However you go need get person whey go do the stress of going there/following up the process for you.

- buy better wood moisture meter to check wood moisture before using such wood. Wood with moisture content of above 12% is not too good for use, although people manage 15% moisture in wood.
- Acclimatize the wood in the environment where the final material would be used.
- invest in planers like Dewalt 735 (helix’s/helica blades), Delta, Laguna etc. they are plenty.
- use balls (small rubber objects) in your woods to guide against temperature change that can cause your materials to bend or sag or fold. It also prevents rattling.

Be satisfied with the 15.93v i.e almost 4v per cell. No major capacity from above 4v. In fact you get more life below 4v. I don't go beyond 12.3v for 3s i.e 4.1v.

You are hitting both extremes i e max full charge and lowest discharge. Lifespan will decrease for sure.

Besides, I have been experimenting the 4s vs 3s topology and so far I can ascertain that suoer satchet inverter has a high voltage protection of 15.93v which (so any voltage above the reference Voltage highlighted above,will set the inverter into protection mode).

I am currently trying to see if there is a way I can tweak the inverter circuit to get it upto 16v.

3s vs 4s for lithium ion is a long debated topic. If u go for 3s the inverter may go off at 10.5 as it's the depth of discharge of most inverter, and at 10.5 the cells still have some juice cos they are at 3.5v while for 4s the maximum voltage is 16.8v but unfortunately most inverters don't go upto that voltage except of course the recent hybrid inverters. In summary, if your inverter can accommodate over 16v then go for 4s but if it can't, u can manage your 3s. Lithium ion powerwalls seems better from 7s n above. But for 12v setup I rather suggest lifepo4.

Let's stylishly ignore the fact that after all the spent resources, you still might not get a working system OR if you do, sooner or later, you would realize you might have spent close to 50% of cost of a NEW / USED one.

Funny enough, there are people whose major reason to choose hybrid is just to avoid spending on a separate charge controller.

I think most high frequency/high pv inverters are mostly hobbyist/ enthusiasts. Because if you run installation as a service full time, there are lots of disadvantages hybrid inverter comes with even though we appreciate the size and weight.

However, most people also believe they are the only inverter that are compatible with lithium batteries, I think this has been a selling point for the inverter.

But in all, buy what is fixable very important.

If this is your personal experience that they mostly can’t be repaired then it’s only because your engineer is either incompetent enough or has no idea on how to go with the repairs. #NoShades
Next time you should rather say you’ve never successfully repaired one rather than saying their probability is low when they go bad.
My satchet inverter was damaged by lightning and it was repaired, I’ve been using it ever since then without issues.
This is a public space and never say something is impossible just because your personal experience with it states that.
My hybrid inverter that was damaged by lightning has been with an engineer for more than 8months and I got a call last week that he couldn’t fix it….Traditional non hybrid inverters will always be more repairable than hybrid inverters.

As much as people feel hybrid systems are cheaper and efficient, the ways of the old has always been tested and trusted.

Imagine 8months of downtime, you will then appreciate having a seperate cc and inverter.
