You two are real entertainers . thanks for the comic relief from you too
so, in summary, trixia (daniel) have been fc.king jethro2 (yinka) who is 5yrs older than him. They were biz partners as well as fuckmates.
Something went wrong along the line and Jethro2 is deeply pained (that's normal sha, once u are fvc.king a woman and u guys part ways on ur own terms, she can kill u). Thank God Jethro2 is not like that. She can't kill.
Rather she comes to Nairaland in the middle of another thread to entertain us with the story of her sexcapades with a student. Nice. Thanks jethro. We love the diversion.

I used vitacox plus wsp on my turkey..
that was not what cleared the pox. It simply ran its natural circle. The vitacox only managed opportunistic infections that came with the pox

Good morning guys.
I have been battling with fowl pox for the pass 2weeks now, I bought a drugs to treat the fowl, I administer the drugs to my cockerel for 5 consecutively days, after the administration, there is no improve, I now repeat the same procedure for another 3days.. Things begins to worst.
Some of them comb is decaying , some are not active, some as lost weight..
Someone told me what can feed I do give to them , I told him I do fed dem with top feed , but I do mix the feed with Eri Ogi ( a kind of maize meal extracted from maize wen processing pap ).
He told me to stop mixing it to the feed, so I stopped , that was 5days ago
Eva since then , no still improvement.
Pls guys I need you gurus to help me out bf Iose all my cockerel
Thanks
solution is simple.
Vaccinate them for fowl pox. If u have done it before, just do it again. Stop all treatment. It will clear within 2 weeks

Do u ship ur yams to owerri?

Am looking to buy some materials from Benue for use in compounding animal feed. My major discouragement is transport logistics. Am looking for the cheapest and effective transport logistics. Can u give me some pointers?

I think chikun is OK. I used it 2 weeks ago and backed out sha. But in retrospect I am think i got good weight gain that week. Will buy it next week

Emempaul:
it should be noted that prior to this time we have Neva experience any incident of stealing, encroachment, fire or whatnot in these area but it seemed that that was not to be this year as we had our fair share with this problems and more as I will be highling here

1. labour force:- befor 2016 we had an abundant supply of work force at our beg and call but inflation rate Set in and recession kick started a chain of events that would marr a lot of farmers crop production output and our farmers were not spared. labour we usually got on a plata of gold became scarce commodity, the onse available charged x3 the amount originally budget for farming inputs like fertilizer went from 5k per bag to as much as 10k in fact it nearly ruined us

we had to dig into reserve funds to foot the some of the bills. while some the the investors footed.

Now imagine u usually do weeding for 1hectare at 10500 only to be faced with stark reality of 17k and in some cases 22k for weeding per hectare dat was the case we faced not until March this year were we were able to secure labour force to do our weeding work for us at a relatively cheap rate as at that time.

2. farm input:- dat one is another case, as we had to battle with agro dealers who wanted to cash in on the misfortune of we farmers and sell fake chemicals to us at exorbitant price not to even talk of fertilizer and even tractor service

3. Since we ran a batch payment formula dat allows investors to break payment some investors delayed payment but still wanted results. Sir and ma we did not come and count the coconut trees and Cassava stem in the farm. To an extent we tried our best but we cant work effectively wen the investor dont pay ontime.

4. land:- the most important. we fell in the hands of unsurpulus family land owners who dealt with us decisively
now imagine working on assumed 10hectares. u do all activities based on 10 hectares only in the end to find out that u have bin working with 10 acres. so as I number 1 thing to do b4 lease is measurement. I very sure we will not fall victim any more on that aspect

......... .............. To be continued
@ the bolded............. That one na story for the gods. If I was one of ur investors I won't take that from u as an excuse. U must pay me back in full. Cos as the custodian of my money I expect u to do ur due diligence. And God knows that number 2 due diligence on land matters, after verification of authentic owners, is to measure the fuc.king land!!!

Good advice though Est mix wsp can replace those drugs you listed over there with a broader spectrum including almost all respiratory poultry disease, antifungal, anticocci and some cold related ones.
Remember its a combination of three powerful active ingredients
Erythromycin (as thiocyanate) 180 mg
Sulphadiazine (as sodium) 150 mg
Trimethoprim 30 mg
if u use EST for infections for which u could use a narrower spectrum antibiotic, some bacteria not specifically targeted will develop resistance. What will u now do if such bacteria cause a future ailment, seeing that they have built resistance?
EST mix shud be last resort. But anyway his flock is small. He can save money by using EST but I wud not do that.

Prevention (Medical recommendations)

Keep stressors to a minimum or if a known stressor such as a show is imminent, give vitamin supplementation. There are several useful products on the market which contain probiotics and/or vitamins, administered in the water.
Stressors here include heat, low feed quality, pecking order, etc.

Use a suitable disinfectant for both huts and equipment.
Polidine disinfectant will work wonders here

Keep dust and ammonia levels low by having ventilation on two sides of the room and never closing it off.
Most people are guilty of this

Feed high quality commercial food for the stage of growth and the species of bird.
What feed are you using?
OP, note the above advice too. Stress increases this disease in birds. I had a major outbreak in my farm when I moved my birds into the cage during broad daylight. Now I only do it at night when they are quiet
AgricultureRe: My Chicks Are Going Blind. Pictures Attached by obstead200(m): 1:29am On Nov 12, 2017
EMMAACHILE:
This is my personal advice, you need an antibiotic that deals with a mycoplasma disease. It's a common disease in poultry. Its likely one of the two pathogens below in your turkey flock.

Mycoplasma gallisepticum: signs can include foamy eyes, sneezing, nasal discharge, swollen eyelids and sinuses, reduced egg production and gasping in chickens, turkeys and pheasants, swollen sinuses in waterfowl. This one is the main culprit in backyard flocks.

Mycoplasma synoviae: signs include swollen and hot joints in chickens and turkeys and/or respiratory signs as above, or thin, deformed shells at the broad (apical) end of the egg.

Recommended Drug: Est mix wsp for five days
Use recommended dosage of at least 3ml in 6 litres per day.

A good multivitamin like power it is also needed.
Good luck.
on point.
Looks like an upper respiratory tract infection and also some symptoms of wet pox.
Revaccinate against fowl pox. Then Use a combination of these drugs below:
Viracid
Bio GMP (mycoplasma)
Any other drug containing ciprofloxaxin.

Any good vet store will have them. Act fast. They will be fine in one week. Problem is that for just 6 birds, these drugs would cost u a lot (about 4k in all). May not be worth it.
Would suggest u leave EST mix for now.

But I agree with wike on this. It is pure foolishness to spend millions abroad to train pple on what they can easily be trained on here at home, at cheaper cost too.
I can't send my kids abroad to study any course other than medicine or some very rare and highly sought field of engineering, and there must be reasonable guarantee of being employed in that country.
If my son wants to study philosophy, then he will attend a public university here. I won't even send him to covenant or Babcock sef.

I want to take ur side on this issue. But it appears u are not doing justice to ur case. The real basis for comparisons shud be purchasing power of income and then the standard of living if the individual in the society. Someone who earns $50000/pa and lives frugally in US will be able to build a storey building modestly in nigeria within 3 years. This is a fact.

My brother works in a hospital in UK as a radiographer and earns about £45000/pa. He makes reasonable investment in naija annually

Wonder why the dude whose lover died in a hotel was paraded with harden criminals. For fvck sake, dude might even be innocent. If the police were smart they would have carried out an autopsy to know the cause of her death instead assuming the guy killed his lover.
u don't understand.
The guy is poor. The Nigerian police will demand no less than 200k to conduct an autopsy, and that is just the beginning
If it is prooved that the lady died of natural causes, they will still require and extra sum of different amounts to different ogas, totalling not less than 400k to let him loose.
If u are caught in such circumstances, ur bestbet is to find a way to escape from the hotel without the hotel staff stopping u. The hotel staff has a way of handling police matter and getting off lightly.

The emboldened analogy is a joke. Hahahahah

Americans, very few in number BTW, in Afghanistan are there for business (mostly military) and would probably not spend a minute more once they are done with these businesses or if the Afghans tell them they are not wanted. Igbos, in their millions, on the other hand, are in the North for better life and opportunities and as the events of the quit notice showed, would do everything within their power to remain in the North (of course it's easy to understand why; they have a shiiiiity region waiting grin)
igbos are not in the north because of "better life".
They are only there because of healthy ambitions. The Igbo man sees opportunities and money in areas the most brilliant Hausa man will never dream of....and he pursues it.
The Igbo man is always happiest at home. That is why when the holidays come, nothing stops him from going home to spend it.
