The stuff works. Accidents happen a lot in Nigeria, but compared to the nos of vehicles and bad drivers, it is low. Most of the accidents are caused by bad tyres, bad mechanics, bad roads etc. New cars are going to be affected by these issues less. My wife is picking up a Toyota Yaris very soon. Most of my friends who were wise to pick up new cars in 1998/1999 are still enjoying the cars now. A few were snatched and the insurance companies settled them. Some insurance companies offer free GSM based tracking for insured cars . You can call me on 0807 02 29044 for more info |
lots of banks and finance houses are already financing new/used car purchases. A lot of paper work is needed. |
The helicopter guy must be a sharp guy. With the current reality in the country, such ventures do not yield much. Even abroad, better things done by secondary school children do not go beyond hobby. The amount of work required to get that helicopter to be produced commercially is not within immediate reach. I advice people to focus on low hanging fruits instead of day dreaming. Nigerians will on day build planes commercially but not in this era. |
What kind of engine does the jive have ? is it diesel or petrol ? Petrol engined jeeps bore me alot with their petrol guzzling |
Some made in Nigeria products are quite okay. Generally manufacturing in Nija is tough, but why are Indians, Lebanese and Chinese streaming in. to succed in Nija manufacturing you must be tough and determined to succed. You must get world class info to come out with good products Many Nija made goods are bad because the makers are not quality conscious and well informed. Nija electric cables , foams, plastics are okay. My policy is to buy nija made whether they are good or bad. Eventually our goods will get better. In the 1950s, Korean and Japanese goods were mocked. Now nobody can do that. Lets patronise, lets encourage, lets educate |

Report to your bank about any losses from ATM usage with all the details and you will get a refund . I have had several cases of wrong deductions which were corrected after formal complaints were made. Most problems on ATM are caused by network outage. |

L&G, We need to be careful the way we read meanings into what peolpe say. El-Rufai's emphasis was not on Igbos owning 73% of demoloished properties in Abuja, but all landed properties. He also talked about the 19 Nothern states owning 60% or so of the goverment allocated plots. Lets not cry wolf when there is no wolf |
It was bought by Park and shop. I guess that they are reengineering the website |
I am Igbo and married to a Yoruba. I am an untribalised Nigeria. I ru a small biz and I employ people based on the content of character and competence. Right now Igbos have actually overtaken the others in terms of education etc. Infact 12% of Jamb "takers" are from Imo state only. In Imo people say that education is the largest industry. The biggest company in Imo is Coca cola. Igbos did not participate in the first privatisation exercise of the early 1970s because of the hangover of the civil war. In the mainstream big oil marketing companies , you might not get so many senior managers that are Igbos. But the upcoming ones are mainly owned by Igbos. Most of the big independent marketers are Igbos. Also in the local oil service industry, Igbos are quite prominent. I think that people shoould aspire to excel irrespective of their tribe. Apart from neglect of people in the South South by the federal Govt, the main reason while the area is on fire is because opportunities( govt & private) are scarce. Opportunities are scarce for variuos reasons that we can not finish writting out in this forum. I see nigeria as a virgin land like Japan/Korea in the 1950s. Anybody , no matter his tribe that is willing to succed ,and pay the price of success will succed and excel |
