You get TB certificate same day if you don't have TB. Usually, when you want to book for TB ,you have option of telling them when you would come provided it is up to 1week time.
So book TB,chose next day for visa walk in. But check for available walk in date before booking for TB. It is easier to get date of your choice for TB than for biometrics.

Hello guys,

I stays in Enugu. Is it possible for me to do my TB test medical and Biometric the same week? If so how can I do it? because traveling from enugu to Lagos just for only medical is waste of transport fare.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by OBYNOWEST12(m): 4:42pm On Aug 22, 2020
Someone else said the same thing. But let me hope it might work for me. Let me not apply for biometric yet.

Two COS can be assigned the same time FROM EXPERIENCE.
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by OBYNOWEST12(m): 11:03pm On Aug 21, 2020
Which date for appointment are dy giving out now.

Arhmiee:

Is this for TLS appointment or TB test appointment?

If it's for TLS appointment, you won't pay to reschedule unless the new date has a service attached to it (prime time, assisted service e.t.c). If your previous date had a service attached to it, you will lose it and will not be refunded.

If it's TB test appointment, I don't have info regarding it.

Thanks so much.

Symbae:

1. Your assigned COS has to be valid until you have attended your biometrics,if it has expired after that, you might be contacted by eco

2. An individual cannot be assigned 2 COS at a time, one must be cancelled before another can be assigned or you wait after the 3 months of expiration to apply for another one if your initial employer refuses to cancel the COS issued

It depends on your car brand and the places you go (parking charges, fuel consumption, tolls e.t.c ) in addition to insurance and tax costs.

I want to ask some questions guys.

Someone who has certificate of sponsorship assigned on 1st of August which expires on 2nd of November that's 3months duration b4 it expires.

Is it possible for someone to make use of that CoS to apply for Visa on October 29th, 30th or 31st. Or is the CoS still valid to apply for visa ending of October.

2nd: Questions. Can one assigned two Cos from different employer at the same time. Or can one have another CoS assigned from different employer at d same time before the previous CoS expires. **employer is NHS**.

London transportation is cool and you'd only need a car if you don't want to rely on public transport for those odd hours movement or for those days when there are train delays. I did an estimated break down on the other UK post.
For car cost estimates, see below: https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/consumer-advice/car-advice/a29318934/owning-car-costs/

Thanks alot.. is I will move to London but am not planning to stay to long our there. Once I stay up to more Dan year. I will love to move out of London..

wallg123:
It depends on the type of car you buy. Expensive cars with expensive insurance and the rest. You have to pay congestion charge as well, fuelling cost, cost of parking you car, road tax.... etc...
If you live and work in London, you won’t need a car as there is 24/7 public transportation... I got a car when I moved out of London and started a family.
Life is too short these days therefore get whatever makes you happy. Money is meant to be spend
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by OBYNOWEST12(m): 5:22am On Aug 21, 2020
Thanks alot I appreciate. So for like if one now decided to own a car. How much will I be spending on that car monthly..

mimilyrics:
It depends on your personal tastes.
Depending on your eating habits, you'll spend an average around £150-200. If you like exquisite feeding, you will spend more.
Transportation is dependent on the area. For London, each bus trip costs £1.50 but if you tap in with the same card more than once within 1 hour, you pay only for the first touch. Once you spend £4.50 a day on your bus trips the other bus trips for the day will be free. Once you hit your weekly max, all touches after are free for the week but you must be a heavy user to hit the max.

Bus transportation in Chatham is roughly £2.80 per ride while it's about £3.70 in Canterbury but you can save on buying weekly / monthly/ or season tickets.
Transportation spend should be an average of around £300-400 depending how often you use the train/bus and the distance. But if you buy a car, budget for insurance, taxes e.t.c.

If you're going outside the bus route, you'll pay more.
Train costs depend on where you go. I.e. London to Farringdon costs around £15 while London to Canterbury costs about £48. You can download trainline app to help you with the train fares for your target areas.

Clothing is dependent on where you shop. Shopping at Primark is different from shopping at M&S. e.g. a male t-shirt at Primark goes for a minimum of £2.50 while a shirt at M&S or Matalan can cost from £20 and £15 above respectively. When you buy during the sales periods though, the price crashes are epic.

Water / light/ Gas bill if not included in your rent will be roughly £100 but heavy usage during winter will definitely your gas bills up.

You can get a phone contract (unlimited calls + 5gb data) on Vodafone for around £12.75. Lycamobile Pay as you go for amount £10 (calls and 2 GB data).

Wireless costs depends on who and what package you choose. BT has a £25 plan but you can switch providers if not pleased with service. Sign-on packages for new customers usually come discounted.

Thanks alot. Can you estimate monthly expenses for someone/single guy who lives in London.

How much do I have spend monthly on my car, If I decided to have a car in UK.

claremont:

It depends if you live in London or outside London. I can only speak for the North. A few years ago when I lived as a bachelor in the North, I was paying £110/week for an ensuite large room in a HMO with internet, council tax and bills all inclusive. I was paying £5/month for phone bill. I was spending less than £80/week on food and groceries. My main expense was Guinness, whisky and my big car which was my only luxury then. A budget of £800-£900/month should be more than enough for everything if you don't drink and don't have a car. Bachelor life has its perks as you can save a lot, enjoy it while it lasts! grin

Yes. she gave me her payslips from the year 2020 (January to July payslips), and she earn 1500 GBP every months. I am just thinking maybe i should submit her payslips only and forgo her bank statements; since she don’t have good closing balance on her bank statement.

The point here is that she paid her bills like rents ect’s and that why the money reduce to that amount b4 i ask her to give me her bank statement.

Payslip is okay...

Get an English proficiency letter from ur Uni, then when filling out the HCPC form there is a column where u needs to tick that ur undergraduate studies was taught in English language. And u fill it up your English language is a means of ur daily activities communication.

On the reference stuff. Just make use of two referee's, one is ur current employer and second previous employer.

Ur employer needs to outline how good u re, areas of ur practice, and work experiences u have, how many years u hv worked with him, from so so year till so so year. Content: employer Name, Signature, the email address, phone number contact.

Every documents u are to send to HCPC must be certified, including ur intnl passport, go to any notary public center to certify all documents. Expect. HCPC filled form, Course information form.

Adeyeti:
Hello everyone, am a med lab scientist, I have started my HCPC registration process, please is there a format for professional reference letter and must I get from my current employer as I have gotten from my internship and former employer.

Also, am I to verify all my licences, or just send copies.

Then how do I go about the English proficiency, or I should just select English as my first language.

Yes, Radiography job. Am talking on behalf of my wife to be. That y am asking of business administrative job opportunities in those areas..

Any Idea of Job opportunities in those Counties, Surrey, London, Warwick

I actually thought you had a job offer already. What type of job?
For surrey, you can work in London and also the surrounding areas. London is London. I am not sure about Warwick.

Another question, How is job opportunities like in those cities like someone who is not in healthcare sector but in business administration sector?

dustydee:

I would say Warwick - Guildford - Camden. The reasons are as stated above. Guildford is about 37mins by train to London so you can easily get to London for whatever. Trains are frequent too. Warwick is up North so naturally cheaper.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by OBYNOWEST12(m): 6:36am On Aug 10, 2020
Thanks alot. London is band 5. But you know that band 5 job in London is like band 6 pay range in other cities..

Another question, How is job opportunities like in those cities like someone who is not in healthcare sector but in business administration sector?

Darosa23:
Depend on the kind of job you get. If you got band 6 job London is good.. But if is band 5 or 6 job Surrey is suitable for both band.. But if you want to save more money Warwickshire is good.

Surrey and Warwickshire will be much better. There’s nothing wrong with Camden Town only that it’s London and London is very expensive and you wouldn’t get value for money. Surrey is equally expensive but you get good value for money.
